On Time Service Pros

He was alright. They did not do the thorough check that I thought they would do, but for what he did he did okay. He was here on time.

They were extremely on time. They advertised if they don't show up each minute they are late they pay $50 up to $500. The plumber was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. He gave me the pros and cons. I asked him if the water softener could be fixed and he told me some could and some couldn't. He said my old one had probably reached it's life cycle and said he could look at it to see if there was a problem and why it had no been working. He was not pushy and said he would have to replace the unit because it was not replaceable. He said I could go anywhere and buy a water softener, but did tell he they had the following models. He said I could go to the big box retail stores to look for the softener. I wanted to get the project done all at one time. He said it would take about an hour-and-45 minutes and he was finished in an hour-and-a-half so were on schedule.

When the tech showed up he hand you a laminated brochure and gives you a robotic speech about everything he's gonna find wrong that is going to cost you money. This is a new car salesman approach to heating and air conditioning. I explained my a/c was not working so he first wants to inspect my heating unit. After finally looking at the a/c he goes to his little van and brings back a camera to show me what is wrong with my heater. I called about my a/c not working, 20 minutes later it would be in my best interest to consider replacing my heater. He was ably to show me a small "crack" that was inside the unit with is specialized camera that he had already taken the unit out of service for before ever getting the camera to look inside the unit. This was like taking your car in because the brakes are making a noise and being told your transmission might go out... You might consider buying a new car.... After I am now even hotter and very frustrated he said the unit will possible need refrigerant and that is a 301 charge for up to 3lbs plus the price of the service call. And there is a bunch of other over priced useless costly services you can purchase. They are fast and courteous in a robotic way. And sales oriented. I wanted my a/c fixed not a sales pitch.

Tyler was great. He took the necessary time to plan the new plumbing and connections under the sink. It was a somewhat limited space, and he had to connect into the existing plumbing at the wall. He used the largest diameter pipe and trap, to ensure proper flow from the sink, disposal, and dishwasher. It's all been working great...no more problems!

They are fine. It’s just that I find them over-priced compared to other smaller companies that I can go to. I know that they are kind of in the same category or are owned by the same business that does the Benjamin Plumbing and Mister Sparky Electric. They do a nice service though.

The furnace conked out and true to their word they were here w/i 24 hours. The repairman spent a fair amount of time evaluating the problem. We had a weird system so no doubt that added to his time. He came back with an estimate and what felt like an honest repair or replace conversation. I had no idea what replacement cost would be as again, our unit isn't something normally seen on a residential building, at my request he immediately was able to contact a sales person and schedule another appointment w/i two hours. After meeting with the sales person and having all of my questions thoroughly answered we decided on replacing the unit. This was the first weekend after the initial polar vortex cold snap so they were very busy and weren't able to get the new unit in until Monday but he gave us suggestions on what to keep warm in our house specifically. Fortunately we have basement floor heat that was keeping the household temperature reasonable anyway. The repair men also were on time, they were very efficient and by the end of the night my house was balmy and warm. There are a few things that need to happen once the temperature is above freezing, but I feel confident they too will be performed efficiently and professionally.

I got no where with the manager, no answers only that we got screwed by this company. I would never have them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. A bad outfit.

We ended up scheduling a quote by using the One Hour Air website, which worked really well for us. After filling out the form, we were contacted by email and arranged all the details that way (which was our preferred method of communication). We received quick and professional email responses. The salesperson that came out for the quote seemed very knowledgeable, and was very professional. He ended up having to wait out in his car for a while because another salesperson from another company was giving us a quote the same day, and that took longer than expected. We felt bad about him having to wait, but he was very nice about it. The salesperson was very thorough in examining our current equipment, and took the time he needed to provide a proper quote. We didn't end up going with this company, simply due to the higher price. This was the most expensive of all four companies that gave us quotes. We did not have any other concerns, and would have considered selecting this company if the price had been significantly lower.

They are reliable and on time. The service is satisfactory. They are reasonable, prices were good.

The rep was on time and answered all questions. I would use them again.

O'Connor is a very good plumbing service. They are punctual, courteous, NEAT and straight forward. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. This last visit, they cleaned and tuned my air conditioning unit. This is part of a yearly program to keep both furnace and air in good order. In the past, they installed both units. I am very happy with their service and have no reservations recommending them.

Can't get a hold of them. You have to go through their call center and even then it was tough to talk to someone locally. The part was less than a $50 part and the guy was at our house about a half an hour. Charged $370.00 after a $25 coupon.

They do a good job for us. We would continue to use them in the future.

I called O'connor's One Hour Heating and AC on a Saturday because the fan on our central air was not turning and it was not cooling. I received a call prior to the techs arrival. When Chad arrived he had me turn on the AC. Of course the fan worked immediately. Chad Checked the capacitor and the electrical connections which checked out fine. He did added some coolant. It's working great. I also liked that I was able to save $79.00 with a coupon. Chad was prompt and professional. His appearance was neat and clean. I will use this company again in the future.

It took them half a day to do it and they were very efficient. They did a good job.

We are very pleased with their workmanship. They did have to come back to fine tune the air conditioning and existing duct work. They have been very nice and compliant with all of the returning work.

I felt the pricing was very reasonable and they did a good job. I would recommend them to others.

Everything went so smoothly.I have two cats the workers did not mine when the cats had to check on the work. However my big cat did startle Mike when he came out of one hiding place in the basement. He just laughed it off and did his work. I had a very enjoyable day off while the workers did all the work. My son came and was very pleased with how everything looked. I could not have asked for anything better.

I had been having issues with my heater over the past week or so and finally decided to look into getting it fixed. Upon looking at some reviews I decided to go with this company for my services. The dispatcher on the phone was very courteous and was able to get a repairman over within a few hours. The repairman came over and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He discovered a gas leak in one of my main gas valves and found the root cause of my heater issues. They were very reasonable with their price and even though I did not anticipate them finding a gas leak, I was never under the impression that they were trying to find more problems to up the price of their service. The repairman also gave me several tips on where I can save some money that will actually benefit my system. I have been buying the top of the line 3M air filters for my system and replacing them every 90 days. He actually advised me to purchase less expensive air filters and replace them every 30 days instead. Buying the more expensive air filters actually does not help with the air filtration much and it actually reduces air flow which makes the blower work that much harder. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the service and will use them again in the future!

came out as deal from home show - free inspection and a $10 gas card. inspected system and I showed them a problem with a damper that was not functioning properly. He had the part in the car and was able to fix it for just the repair charge (no travel since he was out already). Seems to be working fine. Asked about a whole house dehumidifier and the person that had come out said that they did install them, but he was unable to quote it. The person that came to quote it was late, then came in with what I thought was a high quote. We were not so impressed with him vs the first person. He did not really know the different models, he had not bothered to know what he was actually coming out to quote. we have not had this work done and are looking to get other bids.

I called these folks to get my newly purchased home in ship shape so when we move in everything would be in working order. I called this company and got so confused and upset that I told her to cancel my service call. I am currently not price conscience I want to be able to move in my new home knowing everything is in working order and things are cleaned. I have a 8 month old baby to worry about. I understand she was trying to sell me these packages and doing something one way or another would save me money but it also sounded like I would have a service man come several times to my home. I know I might have to have a different crew to do my duct work cleaning but again she was just crazy. Trying to sell me this VIP package and this package and the guy would come back in the fall to service my furnace. Why couldn't he do it now and save a trip? I know what I wanted and I wanted to have it all scheduled at one time. What is so hard about that? So I am going with another company lets just say who is less sales pitchy and just gets the job done.

A crew was sent to my house to install the furnace first. They arrived promptly at 8AM as scheduled. I really appreciated this aspect because I am a stickler for punctuality. The first thing they did was to walk me through everything that was going to happen on this day. The workers also took special care not to track dirt and mud through my house by putting on shoe covers before they entered my house. This was particularly important because there was 8 inches of snow on the ground. The furnace was installed and tested in approximately 6 hours. This also included discussion on how the new High Efficiency Furnace worked, how to operate the various controls (including new programmable thermostat), and what standard maintenance that I could do myself. They completed the job by sealing up the ductwork that they found was leaking. A separate crew (plumbing) arrived shortly afterwards to install the tankless hot water heater. Again, the servicemen were very punctual and thorough with the detail of what the installation would entail. They first removed the old hot water heater tank and the copper water lines that would no longer be needed. They installed the new tankless water heater and associated piping and ducting needed for this hot water heater. What amazed me the most was the amount of space that I got back in my utility room after the new hot water heater was installed. The new unit is about the size of a medium sized suitcase. After completion of the installation, they discussed operation and controls for the new hot water heater and the maintenance requirements for the new unit. They did not leave until all of my questions were answered. They also told me that the new unit included a semi-annual inspection and cleaning of the unit for the next 5 years. All old material was removed from my house and hauled away. Overall, I am highly pleased with the installation of the new furnace and tankless hot water heater. All of the technician were extremely professional and highly knowledgeable of the equipment they were installing. The entire installation process for both units took approximately 8-9 hours. The only negative thing that I have to say is the total cost of the installation was a little higher than I wanted to pay but there were no hidden costs. They told me the price up front. In the long run, I will make up the extra cost in energy savings. As an example, my January 2010 energy bill was around $375 (old furnace and water heater); my February 2010 energy bill was $200. This was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend O'connor One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone I meet. They may cost a little bit more but they are highly worth it and they stand by the product they install.

On a 90 degree Friday afternoon, I discovered my A/C unit had failed. I started calling HVAC companies at 4:30pm assuming that I would have to pay a bit more due to an after-hours/weekend service call. What I discovered was that nobody was even answering their phones. Emergency/after hours service is available for HEATING but very tough to find for cooling. Finally I called O'Connor's One Hour. It was 5:45pm on a Friday afternoon -and they answered the phone. I was told they were very busy with about 5 jobs to complete before they could get to me- but they would be out. It was getting dark when the technician arrived. I think he had had a very long day but he was polite, professional, and competent. Within 45 minutes he had changed out the failed part, replaced the air filter and checked out the rest of my system. Problem solved!! I found out they provide plumbing and electrician services also. Over the next 24-48 hours I received phone calls from several of the other companies I had contacted wanting to schedule a service call on Monday. Need I say More?
