 + -1 moreI attempted to contact him for several months to get the work completed. After a few months, he finally came out to measure the door. He told us there was a place nearby to look for doors and said to call him once the door arrived. We remeasured the door before we ordered it just to double check. All of his measurements were incorrect and our door would have been the incorrect size had we gone with his information. Once we got the door in, I attempted to call him several times again to install the door. He advised that it was too cold to do the work and said that he would be able to do it at the beginning of February. We ended up having someone else install the door and getting a refund.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for front door installation.

Description of Work: We had Mac's Improvements install a service door in our garage. We purchased the door previously. He came and removed the original door, installed the new door, and took the old door with him. I asked him if he could clad the door trim with aluminum. He said he could but he would need to make a return trip with the materials and his brake. We also discussed cladding some of our garage door trim that had previously been clad but was showing its age. We agreed on a future date and he returned and did an excellant job overall. We used a voucher we had purchased from Angie's List which he honored and then paid him an additional $240 for the aluminum cladding which was the agreed amount. The door fits and works great as well as the appearance.

 + -1 moreMac's Improvements' price point stood out the most to me. His price is significantly lower than anybody else. One thing to note is you get what you pay for. Mac's will adjust their prices as the project goes along, he will raise the price if the project is harder than he originally thought, I came away not satisfied. Mac's lacked professionalism and there was no quality to their work.

 + -1 moreHe was professional and punctual. He was cheaper than the other bids. He worked from 7am to 7pm. He actually came out on a Saturday for me and I appreciated that. He moved the existing door and put in the new one. He spent good quality time to make sure things were fine.
