Description of Work: I saw the deal advertised in an email from Angie's list. I thought that wood rot might be a problem on my home and have intended to fix it this year at the same time that I'm painting the house. THe Big Deal seemed ideally timed. I thought that the vendor would come out, assess my wood rot and give me an estimate of the work needed and at that time I could decide to use or not to use the coupon and have the work done. Instead the coupon cost was automatically deducted from my American Express account. I have written to the vendor asking when an estimate could be made. He wrote to me and to others stating he was going to begin organizing his work around these coupon jobs, but had not done so yet. Others have written that they are waiting for estimates or contact. I would rather contact a company myself and be in complete control of the possible job from start to finish. The pay-in-advance-coupon is not for me. I don't remember the name of the company and the number I've given you above is the one that appeared on my AE bill.

Description of Work: They came over right away even though I know they were extraordinarily busy.

Description of Work: We interviewed them to do a large siding project for our Associatin ($1,400,000), they were very responsive however after getting 7 bids, we narrowed it down to 3 and they were one of the 3. We ended up selecting another contractor however it was very close.
