They did what they said they were going to do.

Great, they were finished in about 3 hours and cleaned up after themselves.

This was a roofing deal from Everlasting Exteriors. I met with Jim Davidson, owner of Everlasting Exteriors prior to the job to go over what was involved and included and the cost. Jim was very up front with the details and was fully prepared with house dimensions and material requirements before coming to the house. On the scheduled day of the job, he and his crew showed up promptly at 7 am to start. The supplier of the shingles arrived with a boom truck to lift the shingle packs directly to the roof, saving time while maintaining safety and consideration for the property. Jim supplied his own trailer for the old shingles so there was no dumpster sitting for days in the driveway. Prior to starting the job, Jim's crew laid tarps around the house and over the gardens to protect the plants. His crew worked steadily and professionally tearing off the shingles, inspecting the roof decking for condition (which did not require any boards to be replaced), re-nailing loose nails, applying the ice guard material then installing the new Architectural shingles, in the color we chose, with new roof vents, and flashing. Afterwards, Jim and I went up on the roof to inspect the work which looked very good. Jim and his crew were done about 3 pm with the installation, and a thorough cleaning up around the house. Jim hauled the trailer of old shingles away and was done completely by 4 pm. The job went very well and I was happy with the way it turned out, with Jim's and his crew's professionalism and attention to detail. Jim was checking in with me during the day letting me know the progress and whatever they found, and what they were doing. I would recommend Jim Davidson and his company Everlasting Exteriors, Inc.

They replaced wood rot on one window and one small area on the garage door trim. It took sometime to get back to us on the Big Deal and did a good on the small areas they did which took just 2 hours from showing up to leaving. I noticed one area that needed the repair, called them the same day they were out, and was told that the boss only wants them to spend 2 hours of work per the "Big Deal" which is 6 hours of wood rot repair for $199. I thought for sure there must be some sort of miss understanding- they were here for just 2 hours- not 6 hours and the "Deal" was for 6 hours. I emailed the company on May 17th, receiving a reply from the owner on June 8th. The owner explained that he sent 3 guys, so 3 guys x 2hours of work =6 hours total; additionally they charge a 1 hour trip time (which the Big Deal never mentioned). I feel hood-winked and ripped off- the "Big Deal" did not state MAN hours- just hours. As a consumer I would not have known to ask this type of question...my employer hires me to work (at least) 8 per hours a day- I don't get to go home early if i bring in a temp to assist. Due to the lack of trust that, in my opinion, was abused, I could not recommended them at all. Too bad, because the work done was done well- however, at the price it ended up costing me I would expect this.

Jim came out to my home last month after I had purchased a groupon for the roof. He actually called me to set up the visit which was unusual sfor me since the previous groupons that I have purchased from Angies List I was the one who had to initiate the communication. When he came out to the house he pointed out to me the fine print on the deal which I did not notice and the dollor amount came to 3,000.00 more than what I had purchased but I needed the roof and he was respectful and couretious. I was not required to pay any more money until the job was completed. The set date was 5/9/2013 and as promised the guys (a lot of them not sure how many) showed up last Thursday and by the time I arrived back home that evening the job was completed. The cleanup job that they did was great and I am satisfied with the work. Jim came by today for final payment and asked if I had any questions. I appreciated this service

Was out of town when I contacted and I needed the work done quickly. He responded via email while out of town but couldn't confirm if he was able to do the work in time. Called just in the nick of time and got the job done on the same day. In the end, it all worked out.

I bought the Big Deal, they were overwhelmed with scheduling and communicated that it could be a while to fit in an appt. I was surprised to get a call from home that there was someone pounding on the side of the house unexpectedly. They never scheduled an day or appt with me, but called me about 10 minutes before coming over (I was in a meeting and didn't get the message until after I learned of the pounding). The fixed the issue quickly and well, but I wish I had known they were coming, because I had a couple questions to ask, and they day they came we weren't prepared for their arrival. Despite this, I was satisfied with their work, and would hire again.

Jim was an excellent communicator all the way through this project. I purchased the Deal in September but did not start the process until October. Jim and I met but then the weather changed and he did not want to do the roof if the temperature was not just right for the shingles to adhere properly. Winter stayed forever and he called exactly when he said he would for us to evaluate and set another date and another date. When all systems were go, his crew arrived exactly when he said they would, he called to explain why he was not with them and when he would be there and who I could talk to on the crew if I needed something. We talked several more times during the day and again after I got home to look at the work. The crew ws fast, thorough, and cleaned up completely. They even took away a branch from one of my trees that had come down in a storm! I am delighted with the work, have already referred my neighbor to them and recommend Jim and Evelasting Exteriors without reservation.

They were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to go with them. They were on time, their work was good, they did it on time, and they did it like they said they would.

Everlasting Exteriors Inc. got it all done in one day. They cleaned up pretty well after themselves. As they were doing the installation I didn't realize until too late that they were using staples than rather nails. It was in the statement of work, I just didn't pay attention. Staples are up to code but they are not optimal. It is probably why they were so cheap. If I'd realized they were going in I probably wouldn't have used them. There were some outstanding issues with the finish and it took two months for them to come back to finish that. Now one shingle is buckling so they're going to have to come back and fix that. So the jury's still out on the workmanship. The pricing was very competitive.

Owner was courteous, easy to talk to, and I believe overall conscientious about doing a good job. We wished he had done a better job at responding more timely to our phone calls, and doing a better job at communicating changes in the schedule. Because he seemed to be over-booked, our start date and time was pushed back a couple of times. However, when they did get started, they all put in full days and seemed focused as a team at working hard and getting the job done. Upon completion, Jim asked me to inspect the job to make sure I was happy with everything (I appreciated that). I found a few minor things that I would have expected them to catch without me pointing out, but the main thing was he promptly and professionally took care of them. There was also room for improvement on the clean up, but that was a minor issue to me. In the end, we had a very nicely done re-sided home.

Everything went well. They were very responsive and did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

He was very professional and prompt. I like him a lot and thought he would have done a great job. We decided to have the window guys also do the siding.

It was awesome. They did a great job. The thing that stands out the most was that we contacted him in June and he was out within 1 or 2 days. The estimate was only supposed to be good for 60 days, but he was able to honor the estimate well past that date, due to some insurance issues that I had. He then immediately set-up a date to do the work and was able to come out earlier than expected, after contacting me to see if that would be better. I very much appreciated that. They cleaned up very well and kept my plants in good shape. The employees were very polite and introduced themselves accordingly.

It is our attitude that the company did an outstanding job. The meetings with Jim the owner were helpful and cordial. Telephone questions and inquiries were quickly answered. From many points of view which had been examined, pricing was fair. The organization of the work day was excellent. The workers arrived around 7:00 AM. Tear-off began immediately and the materials delivery happened appropriately thereafter. When the materials were placed up on the roof they were distributed evenly around the roof. They were NOT all dumped in one place which could have created a weight problem. There were 8 workers who obviously were skilled and professional. They did their jobs very well and actually completed the work by 3:00 PM on the 1st day. Entire job completed in just one day. Permits for the work were obtained by the company and the 2 inspections required in our community were arranged for by the company as well. Cleanup after job-completion was very thorough and well done. To summarize I would say that Everlasting Exteriors Inc. did an excellent job. There is no area that I can think of which could be improved upon. Thus I would highly recommend this company to other homeowners needing a new roof for their home. Thank you.

Was looking for roofing professionals, as we needed completion of work prior to upcoming winter. Found the daily deal on Angies List, after initial membership this year. Very interested as price was a great reduction to value cited. Did have some reservations, due to unknown of our needed coverage area and due to deal's detail on what was to be covered. Contact number was on the deal. Prior to purchase (as was quite a first purchase at $6250.00) we were satisfied by Jim (contact at company) that we could rely on them to address our needs. Jim responded the day after initial contact after we did go ahead and purchase the deal. We agreed to meet in our home, to see about area to be covered, we thought we detected two layers of shingles on our home, we wanted ridgeway venting instead of boxes in roof area, etc. Contract covered all the details, additional area to be shingled, etc. Jim contacted us prior to our service date, explained he had the permit with the city and would be dropping off the dumpster for removal prior to job start, etc. He explained everything professionally and accurately. Our roof looks great, we still cannot believe the swiftness of the crew. Jim left the pictures to satisfy final inspection with our city. Very,very pleased with this company, and with Angie's List as well.

Jim and his crew were easy to work with from start to finish. His estimate was very reasonable and the cost was exactly what he said it would be. The guys arrived PROMPTLY at 7am and worked steady until they were done. They were conscientious and easy to communicate with. They ripped off the old roof (including the old nails) and removed all the old gutters and downspouts. They repaired and replaced facia board and made a couple of other minor repairs. They cleaned up COMPLETELY and Jim walked around with me and tweaked every little thing until I was completely satisfied. My roof looks great! I would recommend them to anyone and will call them myself if I ever need more work done.

I contacted Jim Davidson at Everlasting Exteriors for an estimate to replace our roof and siding. This was necessary due to hail damage. I also contacted 2 other contractors on Angie's List for bids. Jim's bid was significantly lower than the other two. We reviewed all 3 bids in detail and we could not see why the other 2 bids were higher. We made the decision to have Everlasting Exteriors do the work. The roof was replaced in 1 day and the siding replacement took about 1 week. The workers were very responsive to our requests. Jim explained the process in detail prior to starting the work and as the work was progressing. Since the Everlasting Exteriors bid was so competitive we were able to have the soffit and fascia replaced as well. This was a real plus! Some of the gutter downspout had been damaged over the years and Everlasting Exteriors also replaced those. Definitely above and beyond the contract specs! We are very pleased with how the project turned out and we would strongly recommend Everlasting Exteriors Inc. Also, there were no issues with the City of Plymouth inspection after the work was finished. As mentioned previously Everlasting Exteriors Inc did a great job!

We contacted Everlasting Exteriors as the result of an Angie's List Big Deal they were offering for a roof. The owner responded personally. He was prompt, very nice and helpful. He even agreed to come back another time to meet with our insurance company, which he did, and got our roof replacement covered by insurance. Unfortunately, we have a rubber roof on a dormer of our house which needs some attention in this project and Everlasting Exteriors doesn't do rubber membrane roofs. As for price, we've since received 4 other quotes and they were all very close to the Angie's List Big Deal offered by Everlasting Exteriors, so I'm not sure the "big deal" price was a great value, although I know the surface area of our roof net the rubber portion didn't approach the surface area limit of Everlasting's special.What concerned us most was the owner's request we pay him more money if the insurance adjuster authorized a higher payment than the Big Deal amount. Interestingly, the insurance company WOULD have paid quite a bit more, but the local roofing market must be looking for business right now because we were able to get so many bids within $700 of the $6,500 "Big Deal". There's no "free ride" for the insured - if I let my insurance company pay more than the market will bear, one way or another, that cost comes back to me in my future premium costs.We are grateful to Everlasting Exteriors but will give our business to a price-competitive roofer experienced with rubber roofs also recommended by Angie's List members.

Owner replied immediately to our problem and was able to give us an estimate that was right on target. He immediately diagnosed a problem with the roof and flashing that no one else had been able to do. When we had questions he got back to us immediately. He even checked with our association for possible insurance coverage. He was prompt, thorough, and fair in his pricing. His estimate was right on target and appropriate for the job he completed. I would highly recommend this contractor as someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, and excellent at understanding the problem with a roof leak into an internal room ceiling. He was professional and thorough in his work. He was easy to work with

We were very pleased. The crew arrived on time at 7 am, and worked very quickly, completing the entire roof by 3 pm. The owner explained the process completely, and procured the necessary permit. He inspected the entire roof, to make sure that no boards needed to be replaced. I am not an expert in roofing, but from all of the information he gave us I understood everything. In the estimate he gave us he detailed everything that would be included in the price. Cleanup was very thorough and complete, nothing left on the ground.

The whole experience went great. Jim contacted me (before I had a chance to call him) after I purchased the Big Deal. He came out and looked at the roof and left sample shingles. I called him the next day and we set a date for the work to be done. On the day scheduled, his team was there early and ready to go. His team was friendly and hardworking. They finished the job in one day.

I asked Everlasting Exteriors for an estimate, based on its ad/award in Angie's List magazine. Owner Jim Davidson called me back promptly and came out and gave me a bid. His bid of $8400 was not the lowest, though it was within a few hundred of the lowest of the five bids I sought. I awarded him the job because I was impressed by his professionalism and courtesy, as well as the price.[There was a $4500 difference between the highest and lowest bids on exactly the same work and materials.] He seemed knowledgeable and spoke of his workers with respect, which had not been the case with all those who came to bid. He made a couple of trips to my house to bring samples. Also, he offered a warranty which the others did not. We scheduled the roof replacement, and he and his crew arrived on time on the promised day. The weather was terrible and in spite of the challenges provided by the weather, they completed the job in a day. Jim noticed that a gutter had been damaged, and volunteered to stop by and replace it, which he did about a week or so later. The roof looks good. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him or his company again. I am confident, based on his noticing the damage, and volunteering to replace it, and then doing so without being nagged, that if there are any problems he will take care of them.

The contractor was very professional. All work and clean-up exceeded my expectations on every step of the job.
