We are very please with the finished product. Jason and his carpenter were very attentive to all the details, and provided us with a great design. The work was done in a timely fashion, they were easy to work with, and cleaned up the site at the end of each day.

Jason is detailed oriented and it shows! We love the added design details and we get so many compliments on our deck. The deck is beyond what we expected and are so happy.

Jason was a very professional builder. He spent ample time before the work started to ensure my wife and I were happy with the design and options. Then as the work started Jason had great communication during the build to keep us aware of the progress and tying us into the decisions. During the build we had a few recommend changes and Jason gave us his honest opinion and options on how to move forward. My family and I love the porch and are very happy with the end result. I would do it all over again and would hire Jason again for the job.

The work Jason did rebuilding our deck was terrific. The quality, attention to detail and design are outstanding. He and his crew were punctual, courteous, and reliable. They were considerate about health and safety and wore masks whenever they were interacting with us. Jason was very responsive to our concern about the railing color and design. This was not an inexpensive project and he wanted us to be happy with it for a long time. We would definitely recommend him!

They did a great job on the demo and installation of the new floor. The floor project went so well that we hired them to replace an old extirior door. Great service at a great price, I would hire them again.

Building Decks and Beyond was great to work with. They came out promptly to do a proposal and were competitively priced. We were given many choices of decking to find the best color match for the new steps. Everything turned out beautiful and the owner and other worker on our project were very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

Everything went really well. We were referred by his neighbor, a friend of my coworker. Jason provided a comprehensive quote and explained the process and materials well. He worked hard to get everything done on the time frame we wanted. Everyone who has seen the deck has commented on how nice it is. Before we went with Jason we got 2 other quotes. We would use Jason again for a deck or if we ever finish our basement.

After 26 years our cedar deck had seen its better days. Doing research, getting quotes and exploring options takes considerable time. Even after that how do you decide what is best. We chose Building Decks & Beyond because Jason went above and beyond to explain the options available to us. Because building codes have changed over the years Jason designed a frame that would meet current codes, even impressing the city building inspector. The workmanship was superb. Friends and family are very impressed with our new deck especially the lights that add a nice touch. I highly recommend Jason and his team at Building Decks & Beyond. I seldom write reviews but with the outstanding service and quality craftsmanship, it would be an injustice if I did not submit this review.

Jason and his crew did a fabulous job on our new deck. Jason was very thorough and detailed when providing an estimate for our project. Jason was very good at taking our ideas and finalizing the design. Jason was great at communicating when he could work, and when he was unable to make it on a particular day because of weather or other scheduling commitments. We had a lot of rain in the spring, so the project took a little bit longer that we (Jason/myself/husband) had anticipated. We were on vacation for about 10 days during the project, Jason continued to work during this time. When we were making decisions on what particular materials or products to use for the deck, Jason was very helpful in providing us with several options that he would recommend. We were very impressed with his detail work and finishing quality. We love, love, love our new deck!!

Jason was a dream to work with. He was not the cheapest quote, but the quality of the work was outstanding and far exceed our expectations even for the price. Great! Jason and his crew had an unexpected window in their work schedule so I got this done sooner that I expected. They did a nice job and the railings look great. The permit and final inspection were handled promptly and professionally. The crew cleaned up each day. The waste was picked up by a trash company within a few days. Jason was very responsive and answered all my questions patiently.

Throughout the process, Jason was easy to work with. We met with many different deck companies for quotes, and his was the most professional and about average for price (decks are expensive!). What really stood out is that he listened to our ideas, made suggestions, had samples to show us at our first meeting, and promptly gave us an itemized quote. He booked up quickly, so we had to wait all summer for the deck to start, but it was worth the wait. During the build, he kept us updated, kept the work site spotless, and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time despite some unforeseen issues. The finished product is gorgeous with the finest workmanship; you can tell that he pays attention to detail. Jason even came back once the deck was complete to clean it before considering it done. His pride in his work is obvious. A true craftsman with strong customer service skills. I would not hesitate to work with him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a deck build or other home additions and renovations.

It was a fantastic experience. He was willing to listen to what we wanted and he was able to answer all of our questions knowledgeably. It just went kind of above and beyond our expectation level. If there was a problem, he would come up with a solution quickly and he was very concerned about our cost in it and the time as well so we were very impressed with him.
