Custom Cut

Mike came out to give me a bid within 2 days of contacting him. The quote was a very fair price and I didn't feel pressured to do more work/spend more money than I wanted. On the scheduled project day, the crew arrived on time, were very professional and took care not to rut up my lawn. They cleaned up all of the tree debris at the end and hauled it away. My lawn looked better after they left than before they arrived. I think they are a great value for the price. I have used them for years and have recommended them to all of my neighbors.

Excellent. Massive, 150 year old oak tree fell on our house in the middle of the night. Called custom cut around 6am. Amazed that Mike picked up at that time. Let him know it was an emergency (Tree landed against neighbors rental house blocking their door and they could not get out.) Mike and his crew arrived a couple hours later and completed the job that day. Very professional. Thorough clean up.

We have had Mike come over a couple times. Everytime he is prompt and keeps his appointment time. Presents a quote for the work. Second visit is when he and his team come over with all the heavy and light equipment to take care of the work. He did an excellent job removing some older shrubs and a stump on our property. We called him again the second time when we needed general trimming of tree branches around the house.

I called and he came out and give estimate. We called him back set date for removal. They came right on time. Did what we wanted done at the price he said, Did a nice job and did it right. We will hire him back when we need more tree work done. He recycles all the wood and wood chips. Very nice and easy person to deal with. He is a pro, knows what he is doing so no worries about damage to house and barn.

Mr. Haege was on time, and started work immediately. He laid down several pieces of plywood over the lawn to protect the grass from his equipment. After he was done grinding the stump he leveled the dirt and it was ready to sead for grass. He was very hard working and did waste time. I was very pleased.

Their process for bidding work is very straightforward, fairly priced and professional. They come in on schedule, do the work they promise to do and do an excellent job cleaning up when they are done. Lastly, they give good, sound professional work that can be depended upon.

They had limited and narrow access this these trees. All material and debris was cleaned up from the yard and also from the traffic area and the street where their 'chipper' was located. We were very pleased with their work and especially grateful for the clean up and the fact that surrounding plantings were not damaged.

From the time Mike came out and gave us the estimate until he came to do the work was less than a week. Arrived right on time and worked continuously until work was done. Brought in a large crane to assist in the removal of the huge approx 150 year old maple and one of the poplars. We can't say enough good things about Mike and his company: very professional, knowledgeable, cautious, safety conscious, friendly, truthful. He took extreme care not to disturb any nearby landscaping and to protect our house and garage during the removal process. His prices are definitely commiserate with the service provided. We highly recommend Custom Cut!

It went great. Mike showed up on time with all the heavy equipment needed, actually 1/2 hour early, and worked diligently until the whole job was completed, included clean up.

Quoted excellent price for work we needed done. We weren't home when they showed up but had completed the job and fully cleaned up after themselves when we did get home after they had finished. Very pleased with work and professionalism. Look forward to using them again.
