BACKYARD BUILDING SYSTEMS

It went very well. We got a 8X12X9 shed. Materials that were used were quality throughout. Guy the installer was a master and completed the job in 5 hours. He was so organized with most pieces pre-cut and loaded into his truck in the order that they were assembled. It was impressive to watch him work so efficiently and so quality-minded. I originally looked at buying a kit from other dealers and building it myself, but read some reviews describing warped boards or missing pieces. I was so glad that I chose Backyard Building Systems and had it installed by a local company that works to maintain a good reputation.

Everything went smoothly....From the first set of questions we asked,with prepping the area where the shed was going to go. To the last shingle Jim nailed to the top of the roof. They were very easy to work with.

Builder called the night prior to the build and let me know what time he would be here. He arrived right when he said he would, and got to work. He had some initial difficulty because parts of the shed are built in their shop ahead of time and my concrete pad wasn't quite square but he figured it out and got the shed built. He even installed a window that I provided without an extra charge. The shed itself is great. It's built with 2x4's and 2x6's instead of the cheaper 2x3's that you see advertised at some of the big box stores. The siding is primed and ready to be painted and they put shingles on as well. They do cost a little more than the shed kits you can get at the super big hardware stores but in my opinion they are worth it.

My husband and I began looking for a storage shed this past summer. We could not find a shed that was both sturdy and affordable. I found Backyard Building Systems on Angie's list and we decided to drive to Hampton to check out the sheds. They have every size imaginable! We ordered the "Americana" with the 4 foot sidewall. Finished size 8 X 10 X 8. The shed was installed in about a week (the actual time the company needed was something like 3 days)! Steve, the installer, came at 8:00 (time scheduled) and he was done building the shed around 11:30. He cleaned up the area and it looks great! Steve took the time to explain to me how we needed to caulk and put primer on the new wood. I probably won't get it painted until spring but I GET TO PARK IN THE GARAGE THIS WINTER!!

Backyard Building Systems is a terrific company and the price is hard to beat. From the first call to the final nail, I was very pleased with their professionalism and the completed barn looks great. Barb is the admin in the office and Steve was the on-site builder whom I dealt with. Both were pleasant and Steve is very knowledgeable about his craft. Absolutely zero hiccups or concerns about my dealings with this company. Highly recommended by this very pleased customer.

They did what they said they would and built a quality shed. Installer was on-time, professional, courteous and had the shed completely built and shingled in about 4 hours.

SET UP AN APPOINTMENT IN SEPT. FOR THE BUILD TO OCCUR IN OCT. I WAS SUPPOSE TO RECEIVE A CALL BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DAY TO MAKE SURE I STILL WANTED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE BUILDING. THAT CALL CAME AT 6:00 AM THE MORNING OF THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT I DID NOT GET CONFIRMATION PRIOR TO THAT. ENDED UP RESCHEDULING. I DID RECEIVE A CALL THE DAY BEFORE THE RESCHEDULED DATE TO CONFIRM. JIM SHOWED UP AT THE APPOINTED TIME AND HAD THE SHED BUILT IN 4 HOURS. HE DID A GOOD JOB ON THE SHED, WAS VERY POLITE AND CLEANED UP WITH NO MESS LEFT BEHIND.

VERY FINE WORK--THIS IS THE SECOND TIME BBS HAS INSTALLED A STORAGE SHED FOR US; PREVIOUSLY, THEY INSTALLED ONE IN OUR FORMER HOME. THE WORK WAS DONE ON SCHEDULE AND COMPLETED WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. THE STORAGE SHED IS VERY SOLID WITH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR TOOLS, STORAGE, AND YARD WORK MACHINES.

THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB WITH THE INSTALLATION, BUT FORGOT TO PUT A SLIDING PIN-LOCK ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR. I HAD TO CALL A COUPLE OF TIMES FOR THEM TO RETURN AND INSTALL THE LOCK.

THE PRICE OF BUILDING INCLUDED ALL LABOR AND MATERIALS. THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO DO IS PAINT IT.
