Description of Work: We called for mouse trouble. They went all around the outside of the house and came up with a price to fix holes. But then went into our attic and said there was so much mouse poop and tracks that we needed to have all the insulation sucked out of our attic, have it disinfected, and then spray all new insulation in for a cost of $14,700!!! And said they didn't have hoses long enough so would have to cut a hole in our roof!! I called an insulation company who said they could do the same job, without the disinfection part for $5,800! MN Wild Animal Mgmt said 1/2 of the $14,700 was the disinfection part...so even if they charged $100/hr that would take 73 hours to disinfect our attic!!!! Then they proceeded to tell us they were two weeks out but they wouldn't put me on the schedule unless I gave them an answer right then as to whether I was going to do both the jobs or just the outside hole fixes. Because then they would give me a discount! I also had Orkin come out at look at the insulation in our attic and they said it does NOT need to be sucked out. There is not enough activity to warrant that and they see that much activity in many homes. Their website showed them as A+ rated on BBB. I looked on BBB website and entered their name, it said they had no record of them!!!

Description of Work: Raccoon removal. The company was prompt in responding to my call. Victor explained the process for trapping raccoons. He stated it would take several days and they charged a flat fee. He trapped 12 and explained what modifications needed to be done to keep them from living under my deck.

 + -1 moreWE HAD THEM COME OUT AND SEAL UP EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING!! THERE IS A FOUR YEAR GUARANTEE WHICH IS NICE. THERE WAS ALSO SWALLOW IN THE CHIMNEY THEY NEEDED TO GET OUT. THEY HAD A LOT OF WORK TO DO.

Description of Work: RED SQUIRRELS (WHICH HAD SET UP HOUSEKEEPING IN OUR FINISHED 2ND FLOOR GARAGE ATTIC AREA FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS) WERE TRAPPED AND REMOVED. HOLES IN THE ROOF WERE SEALED AND WIRE SCREEN WAS APPLIED TO 6 PLASTIC ROOF VENTS THAT SQUIRRELS HAD CHEWED THROUGH.(EVENTUALLY, A ROOFER WILL NEED TO REPLACE THESE VENTS WITH METAL ONES, BUT THE SCREEN IS KEEPING THE LITTLE VARMINTS OUT FOR NOW.)

Description of Work: VICTOR CAME OUT TO TRAP AND REMOVE RACCOONS FROM MY ROOF/EAVES. THE CRITTERS EVIDENTLY HAD ALREADY LEFT THE NEST, BUT HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF SCREENING UP AND REPAIRING THE EAVES ON TWO DORMERS TO EXCLUDE THE ANIMALS FROM RETURNING.

 + -1 moreTHE PERSON WHO DID THE INSPECTION DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB AND SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS SEEMED HIGH AND INCLUDED MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED. THERE WAS A SEPARATE PRICE FOR EACH LITTLE REPAIR. THE INSPECTION ALSO INCLUDED ONE REPAIR UP TO $45. I THINK THE ONE REPAIR THAT WAS DONE WAS SIMPLE AND WORTH MUCH LESS THAN THAT. WHILE THE INSPECTION PROVIDED USEFUL INFORMATION, I DID NOT HIRE THEM TO DO THE WORK.

BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY RACCOON TRAPS LEFT, HE CHASED IT OUT OF THE ATTIC, PERMANENTLY BLOCKED THE ENTRY POINT AND CONDUCTED A THOROUGH INSPECTION FOR OTHER ENTRY POINTS.
