We are still delivering and laying sod as the weather continues to cooperate this fall. This is the perfect time of year to start your new lawn for next spring. Deer Creek Turf and Sod is a locally owned company that will do work in the entire metro area so your lawn will look great fast. The method of hydroseeding is less expensive than the old fashioned way of using a straw mulch. Our method uses a combination of seed, mulch, fertilizer and water that is sprayed onto worked up soil resulting in a beautiful yard that will make your neighbors "green" with envy. We take into consideration how much sun or shade hits your property, what is the shape of your terrain and do you have children or pets. By considering all of the listed factors we are able to make the perfect solution for a green, beautiful lawn. The advantages of hydroseeding over traditional seeding are as follows: The hydroseeded lawns have a faster germination cycle. You will see grass in 3-5 days. They have a green appearance that looks much better than that of mulch of straw and and seed. Hydroseed has no foreign weed seed from the straw. Your lawn will be just grass. Hydroseeding can be custom tailored for shady or sunny areas of your lawn. Hydroseeding mulch is "green". The humus content helps it decompose. Straw has a bacterial reaction the will leach nitrogen from the soil as it decomposes. And hydroseeding can grow grass almost everywhere.

Deer Creek Turf is a quality business and the owner, Mike, is a pleasure to work with. His crew came out when promised and did excellent work. I highly recommend Deer Creek Turf.

Not only was the sod healthy and beautiful, the hilly area was perfectly smoothed, extraneous roots were removed, and the sod was extremely well laid creating a smooth, even surface. Additionally the crew set up the hoses to assure water coverage. Excellent service and product.
