First - no electrician is cheap so don't be shocked by the price. Chuck was very professional, prompt and compared to the other providers in the area his prices were very fair. He dug a trench from our old building to the new building and put in a basic box in the new building. He installed one light and 3 outlets in addition to the box in the building and handled the inspection. We would use him again.

Chuck is a total pro. He was willing to work with me (a DIYer), which saved me money. A lot of contractors won't. He has a great personality to match his professionalism and was very understanding of my situation and provided some very good alternatives - many of which saved me money. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

This company's employee had little supervision, some work was performed by a 15 yr. old child, and this company added thousands of dollars to the original bid after the job was completed, without change orders which is a violation of MN State Stautes. When we requested justification and receipts for the added charges, this company rudely and agressively attacked my personal character. We reported this company to the MN Attorney General's Office and the MN Department of Labor and Industry. They were subcontractors, so the general contractor was ultimately responsible for their work and the lack of written change orders. The general contractor has been under investigation by the MN Department of Labor and Industry since March 2009 (today's date 08 April 2011). No company has the right to add charges at the end of a job without proper justification for those charges. This company called me excessively, two-three times a day demanding payment for unauthorized/unapproved/unsubstantied charges.
