Two Men and a Truck

I am totally appalled at s***** job two men and truck did for a senior couple I help. They stacked boxes any which way, put glass tables on top of boxes teetering. Than they blocked the gentleman Oxygen machine. You should get training from AAA movers Will never recomend

Young people needed supervision. Very slow. Dropped end table. Truck broke down.

It was an excellent service. They are very efficient, less expensive and very nice people.

The crew was prompt, professional, and extremely hardworking and careful. They made one of the worst chores into one of the smoothest processes. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Extremely professional job. Jay as the lead was customer service oriented, both workers were friendly and both Jay and Tyrone had energy to burn during the move. Move time came in at the bottom of quote and these guys were monster movers! I had them disassemble and reassemble bed along with the move and everything went smoothly. Was a difficult move from 3rd floor apartment without an elevator, no problem for these guys.

The guys worked hard and were efficient. We did have some damage to a door jam that I wasn't informed of.

Perfect! Guys were very careful with my stuff and and also very friendly and professional.

I'm not moving yet, so I can't evaluate their moving performance.

Due to a required unexpected last minute move, I was in a a panic. Mine was a smaller move, but they do moves of all sizes and have a huge truck and proper equipment. I had seen this company move others within our apartment building Edina and they always seems so personable and professional, so I gave them a try. They were fully booked so the operational managers/owner came and helped me with the move that same day within hours of my call. They were kind[;l, , curious, respectful and flexible. I'm so thankful and can't say enough good things about them. 5+ stars. Thank you!!

Almost done when they came to me and said that they could not fit everything in the truck. I said really how is that possible. they told me they only had one size truck and if i wanted them they could take that load up to my new house and then return to get the rest for the same price again that i had already agreed to. I said you double????? and they responded yes. i told them NEVER!! i rented a haul and finished the next load myself. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY, they responded to my complaint with well there were more boxes then you have ESTIMATED. and that is why it did not fit. they never sent anyone to estimate the load or ensure that it would hit. TWO MEN AND A FRAUD!!

They broke a wood lathe. They dropped it about halfway up the ramp into the truck. I watched as they just tried to cover up the fact that they had broke it. I called them out on it and they agreed. They did fill out a form for me acknowledging that they had done damage. Therefore I expected them to call me back for restitution. I never heard from them so I decided to call the company and file a complaint. However, they just kept changing their story every time I talked to them.

I contacted this firm via their web site. They have a page that states "Start you free moving quote." I took time to provide very detailed information about the items that we wanted moved, as well as info about move destinations (condo + storage unit). One day later I received an email that stated this: "Thank you for selecting TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® . We received your email at our local office and look forward to help you with your upcoming move. We offer packing and moving services at a competitive, all-inclusive rate. In order to estimate your move, please list the main, individual furniture items you want moved from each room. Also include your estimated number of boxes." There was no response to the specific information I had provided. I called and left a voicemail asking for a call back. There was no response at all. After another day went by, I sent an email asking for a call to discuss the move. Again no response I contacted another mover (Ruth) and had a very good, professional, and courteous discussion about our upcoming move. I received a quote via phone as well as a follow-up via email. I really wanted to see how Two Men..'s prices compared, so I sent yet another email asking for a call. Once again, no response at all. At this point, it felt like I was begging just for a call. I signed the contract with Ruth Movers and am looking forward to providing them with a good review once the move is done.

This was the second time we have used Two Men and A Truck and we were not disappointed. The team was from the Woodbury location and everything went smoothly, from the initial scheduling call to the office to the move itself. No complaints!

I briefly spoke to one rep about our move but was unable to complete the discussion (they needed about 15-20 minutes). I tried calling multiple times with no luck and even left 2 messages for the specific person I had spoken to previously. She never called back so I moved on to another service provider.

I asked to make an appointment via e-mail through Angie's List on Wednesday and got a call back from Erin on Thursday. They had an opening for Monday morning as I requested and Erin e-mailed me a copy of the contract. On Monday morning, I got a call from the crew approximately 20 minutes prior to arrival to tell me they were coming. The crew came, got instructions on what items needed to be moved where, and worked very quickly. They were done after two hours, which was the minimum charge, took my VISA card as payment and left. The entire process was completely professional. I will likely call them again when the furniture and appliances are ready to back into the basement after renovation.

Two men and a truck were great. First, I was not able to close on time because of a problem with my mortgage lender. I called Two Men and a Truck to reschedule and they said no problem. They did not charge me a fee at all to reschedule. I resheduled them to come out on Sunday of memorial day weekend. Really? You guys are working that weekend? Yes, they did. Because of the amount of stuff I had, we scheduled two trucks and six guys. They called me on the morning of the move and they came out. ALL SIX GUYS WERE AWESOME! They were fun and outgoing and in a great mood and having fun while working real hard. They had such a great working relationship. They worked hard to move everything as fast as possible but they still had a great time and kept everyone in a great mood, especially us since moving can get stressful. They loaded everything up from the old house in about an hour and a half. They even stopped by my storage unit and grabbed a bunch of stuff from there. Because they do get paid by the hour, they did work hard to move fast. A couple of things did get broken but that was because I did not pack them well enough. Remember to pack especially dishes really well to avoid breaking because they do move fast and don't know what's inside each box. The only other thing I would comment on is to be really careful in the new house. It was raining lightly the day we moved. I opted to have them use the plastic on the new carpeting so it wouldn't get dirty and that really helped. Overall the cost was more than I expected, but maybe i was in denial over how much stuff I actually had. Either way it was well worth it. They really helped to minimize the stress of moving. I never got to the point of using their services - but trying to schedule their services was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I contacted numerous moving companies to get quotes for moving about 7 pieces of furniture from my home to my storage space. The companies received my requests on a Tuesday morning and I made it clear that I was trying to find a company that could move my belongings Thursday or Friday. I realize this is a very last minute request - which is why I made it clear that my priority was the schedule - and wanting to know if a Thursday/Friday move was possible. I heard back from Two Men and A Truck on Tuesday afternoon and I filled out more detailed info about my move for them. Wednesday around 10:30am I received a quote from them for a Thursday morning/afternoon move. I was extremely relieved that I could book the last minute move and I called and e-mailed them right away saying that I wanted to book the move. When I called there was no answer (and I left a message saying I wanted to book the move) - and I did not get an e-mail response. The only time the whole day I was away from my phone was from Noon-1:00pm - and of course, I received 2 calls from the company during that time. The rep left me a message asking me to call back with my credit card number to secure the reservation. I then proceeded to attempt to call them back ALL AFTERNOON - pretty much every half hour - until 5:00 pm - and left numerous messages. I must have called 7 or 8 times! I could not get a hold of anybody - and nobody ever got back to me. Keep in mind - I had received my quote in the morning and therefore stopped pursuing the other moving companies that I may have been able to book with. The last message I left stated that I had still been counting on movers coming on Thursday - and for somebody to call me right away Thursday when they opened at 8:00 am to let me know if the move was still happening. Again, nobody called me. I finally called and got through to somebody on Thursday at 9:00am - and she told me that no, they had not saved my reservation - and they no longer had any availability to move me any time this week. I told her my frustrations about trying to get a hold of someone the previous day - and asked if there are people actually in the office in the afternoons - she told me that yes, people are in the office - but they were busy. This has been a huge inconvenience because now I am unable to find another company to book with at such last minute - and will likely have to put off my cross country move to next week. I understand if spots filled up and they weren't going to be able to hold my reservation all day - I am just asking for a little COMMUNICATION and actually being able to speak with someone at some point during a 24 hr period - to understand what the situation is. Not a good way to run a business.

Arrived on time, worked efficiently, completed in around 3 hours. Not super fast, not slacking, ok tempo. They did not break down or set up any furniture. They did not pack or un pack anything, so I can not speak to those setvices. i was satisfied, would use them again.

Correct credit card was not billed as requested but that was the only issue at all in this move.

Two Men & a Truck did a great job. They were able to get us scheduled very quickly (called on a Friday and scheduled for Monday.) The team was very punctual and very fast. The guys were friendly and careful with our furniture. We have extremely heavy master bedroom furniture that is very awkward. The guys did the best they could getting the pieces up & down the stairs. They did minorly scuff up one of the walls at the new house, but they immediately apologized and someone from the company called me the next day to arrange a time to fix the scuff. I was very impressed by the level of service all-around. Would definitely hire this company again if we needed assistance moving.

The two movers set to come at 7:45 on a Saturday morning - they called and said they would be 15 min late, which was no problem. They were very careful moving all the furniture out of the house (wrapping up the couch & dresser with plastic, etc) We had recently installed an asphalt driveway (170' long) so they could not drive up to our house. They carried and wheeled all the furniture down the driveway to the truck. On arrival to the apartment, they moved very fast (but careful) getting all the furniture up the stairs (with tight landings) They helped set up the bed frame and put the mattress on it. They were friendly and easy to deal with. Overall, we were VERY happy to have hired them to do this move!

Move went well, timely and efficiently, no damage. The movers were courteous and professional and they did a good job of taking care of our furniture. There was some rain on the loading side and they wrapped and covered things to be sure not to get wet. Also conscious of floor with wet conditions. They hustled and got done in less time than estimated. We gave them a generous tip for their good work and would recommend them to anyone.

Very poor communication. I tried multiple times, to no avail.
