Two Men and a Truck

Literally decades past the time in my life where it was “the way moving was done”, I will sacrifice close personal relationships in pressuring friends and family to help me complete my next move before ever considering using Two Men and Truck again. It wasn’t: -The pervasive smell of marijuana that hung in the air all day -The coercive manner in which my wife was made to sign paperwork well before the job had been completed -Catching someone rifling through unboxed items that we expressly indicated were not to be moved -The wildly off the mark estimate that was twice the number we had quoted to us for a move to the same neighborhood just a year ago -The constant asking “do you need us to move this?” and the accompanying eye roll, audible sigh, and attitude that met every affirmative answer, despite the fact that each item was supposed to have been included in the estimate -The manner in which furniture was haphazardly placed with no attempt to reassemble disassembled items -Ignoring our pleas to focus on larger items that I ultimately had to go back and move myself, despite those items being included in the quote -Forgetting piano legs back at the old home, as well as door guards, blankets, and 5 rolls of stretch wrap -Taking advantage of the opportunity to “play” on gym equipment instead of loading that item, which ultimately was one of the items I needed to move by myself -Taking the time to pad and shrink wrap an air hockey table, and then never bothering to load that item onto the truck -Lying that our bed had been reassembled, and covering up that lie by placing the box spring and mattress on the frame -Asking to borrow some tools, just grabbing other tools without asking, and then leaving all the tools scattered throughout the home Or -The dozens of water bottles and Gatorade bottles that were strewn about both homes. It was the fact that despite 6 calls, several voicemails, 3 assurances from corporate, 2 assurances from local personnel, no one ever bothered to call or email us back (2 weeks and still waiting).

Completed the job early and reduced our final bill from the estimate. Highly professional, communicated and asked questions. Accomodating to impromptu changes or moves with furniture. Zero damage to houses or furniture with some very delecate pieces moved.

Horrible! Do not use this company! They are the slowest people on the planet - they get paid by the hour . They are rude and would not feel safe leaving my kid alone with them. Terrible responce time to questions. Read other reviews and then find a different company

I emailed the company and received a boiler plate reply. I emailed back and shared again what I wanted them to do. I wanted them to move a 400lbs safe down stairs. The company emailed me that it would be 160 dollars. Their office is less than 4 miles from my house so I was surprised when they added a 42.50 travel charge to the bill. So now it was 202>50 plus tax. The company then informed me that they would need to send 3 people to move the safe and if they got their and decided they could not move the safe or did not want to move it I would still have to pay the full price of over 200.00 dollars. I emailed back and asked if their would be a lower price if they did not move it. The reply was no I would be liable for the full amount and when did I want them to come. I quickly chose not to use them as I felt like it was a very unprofessional offer.
