Far from the "Perfect 10" they claim. Overall - Here are my grades: Sales Person: F Installation Technicians: A- Followup Technicians Onsite: B Followup Support w/ Office Personnel: D Details on my experience below: Initial contact was made through Home Depot with Total Comfort. In July of 2016, we had a sales representative (Danny Strack), who sold us a furnace and air conditioning system to be installed by the Total Comfort team. He was very personable and convincing. He repeatedly assured us of the Home Depot "Perfect 10" program and the high level of service that we would receive. It was not all that he claimed. Along the way we would discover several holes in the promises he made with our systems that I will mention below. The actual technicians and installation went pretty smoothly. They communicated well with us during the installation on their progress. In the end they left with a furnace fuse that kept blowing when trying to complete the installation of the WiFi related to the new thermostat we were receiving. The air conditioning unit and furnace units were running and we did not have any immediate concerns with the thermostat. At the time we were sold the unit, we were not even going to get the new thermostat (we had a new one), but were told by sales person that for this unit to be the most efficient, we would want it. However, it was acknowledged that there was an update that the manufacturer was working out to make the WiFi fully functional - expected to be finalize by October. The sales person said that he would even be willing to come out later and get this set up correctly. Our first major concern arose with our Air Conditioning system in early August 2016. We noticed that our infant son's upstairs bedroom was still very warm. We had discussed this concern about the temperature in our upstairs with our sales representative. He assured us that the new unit would fix this problem. The new units are designed to push the airflow better in our home, etc. I contacted our Sales Representative (Danny) with concerns that it was still too warm upstairs with the new unit. He scheduled a time with me on the phone to come out to our house to take a look himself - HE NEVER SHOWED UP on the day that was arranged. When I called Total Comfort, they apologized and said that I had never been put on his schedule and that it shouldn't be a sales person to come look at this. They would send me a technician. A technician came out and determined that there were problems with the air vents in our house going into this space. He made some suggestions that moderately helped. I appreciated his assistance, but felt very frustrated that we had brought up a concern with the sales person and were assured that our new unit was going to resolve this problem - they failed to investigate my concern prior to installation and made assurances that they would be fixing a problem that they could not have with just the furnace/air conditioning units alone. Next, we progress to October. We are entering into "Furnace" season now! The furnace seemed to be functioning well, but I remembered that to get the full benefit of the furnace's efficiency, that we needed to get the WiFi thermostat up and running according to our Sales Representative who talked us into the thermostat. I called and left a message asking for an update on the updates to the thermostat and when we could have someone come out and get things up and running. This also involved the fact that there were some fuses blown in the setup of our furnace initially that would be required to to be fixed in this setup. I NEVER heard back from them. About 3-4 weeks later, I called again. Nobody responded to my phone call, again I called a few days later. I explained my situation and was also given and email address. I emailed my frustrations. Still no response. Finally a few days later, I called again and we set up a time for a technician to come out and work on our furnace. When the technician came out, he determined that there was a part that he needed to order, so offered some days later that week that would work to come back with the part. As our furnace was functioning at that time, I opted to schedule it a few weeks later for the last week of December when I already had time scheduled to be off of work. The day arrived and I was waiting for the technician to arrive. With only 1 hour left in my service window, I received a call saying that I needed to reschedule because they did not have the part. Seriously - 3 weeks later! They had forgotten to order the part! I was extremely frustrated and at this point. I expressed concern on the phone that I pretty much was "Stuck" with their product in my home and stuck with them providing warranty services that they were failing to service. Ultimately, they were supposed to order the part and call me back with a day that they could do the installation with that part. Again, I never received a call! In the meantime we had a Service Alert appear on our Thermostat for our Furnace - My worst nightmare in the Service and Repair world coming true. I call them to ask for service for this new alert and to complete the WiFi installation. At this point I did tell them that they needed to work around my schedule. They complied. They came out in the evening and the technician got our WiFi System up and running. He adjusted a fan speed on the furnace related to the Service Alert that we had received. Things worked well for 1-2 weeks. The same service alert appeared on our Thermostat again - We haven't called it in... We adjusted the fan on our thermostat and it seems to have stopped the service alert from appearing - In summary - We spent a lot of money on a furnace and air conditioning unit and I don't even trust Total Comfort to work with us on resolving Warranty issues on our brand new unit.

All is good. Satisfied customer! Total Comfort corrected deficiencies in hvac by Builder in townhouse as much as could be done. Kudos to Total Comfort ... and shame on Builders for the shortcuts taken!!

The service went fine. They were here when they said they were going to be.

it went fine. there was a mix up in the location of the work but it was resolved. the younger service guy was friendly but the older one was a bit grumpy--probably due to the service location mix up. i presume they did everything. i was not standing next to them as the service was performed

It went very well. They were on time, prepared to protect floors and furniture/misc, walked me through what they were going to be doing throughout the day and approximately when they would be finished with the job. Clean up was very well done. And we have a new puppy - and they worked around him with no issues.

It is $250 for the year and they do winter and summer. I have been using them for a long time -- about 10 years.

We had a scheduling issue at first, but they made up for it by coming out on a saturday morning to do the work. The technician was friendly and thorough.

My AC was not working all of a sudden and thought of changing AC but thought of changing furnace and water heater as well as all these are 15 years old. Right from the estimate and work, everything went well and I would strongly recommend to anyone as I am very happy with the service that is provided by Total Comfort. I am having 80% Furnace before and changed it to 96% efficiency as i got a very good explanation from the sales rep what the difference is and I almost got the same price as 80% Furnace after all the rebates and discount. This is the only company explained everything and helped to change from furnace to 96% while all the other companies that i took estimates gave 80% but almost the same price which is surprising. Thanks for the good Service Total Comfort!!

Called and made an appointment for sales representative to bid job. Took time off work for appointment. Sales representative was a no show. Called company to determine if sales representative was coming 15 mins after the agreed upon time. Phone representative was unable to give me any information other than there was indeed an appointment at the agreed upon time. Called company again 45 mins after agreed upon time to determine if sales representative was going to show. Phone representative was unable to provide any information. This cost me money because I had to take time off from work for a sales representative no show.

Very well. The installers were very professional and very informative. All expectations were exceeded.

In the Spring they check my air conditioning before we start the season and they check my furnace before we start the heating season.

They were prompt and they did the work efficiently. It's working okay. I've used them for a number of years.

Excellent. Sales person was on time, and not pushy at all. The company had a Trane 3 ton AC and coil in stock, and was able to install within 5 days of sales, and two days after signing contract. Installer completed the work in one day, and it's been running ever since (3 months). Time will tell about longevity, but the previous Heil AC lasted 28 years, so I'll hope for the same lifespan.

They came when they said they would, installed it and it was all done when I arrived back home. They cleaned up extremely well and everything was perfect when I arrived home and we now have air in our home!

The service technician arrived on-time, but his truck broke down in the middle of the street. Another technician brought another truck out and towed the broken truck away. The first technician kept saying he wasn't sure if he'd even get the install done that day. My husband asked if there was anything he could do since he'd taken the day off to be home for the install. We tried to contact the salesman that we first talked to but had to leave him a message. The technician was one the phone trying to figure things out. 2 hours later, the technician was able to get started. It took him all day, but got the air conditioner installed and working. There still is some work to be done. A new cold air exchange line needs to be installed. Due to the late start it had to be scheduled for another day. Although the timeline for the day was not what we expected and the day started off with frustration and stress, overall, we're very happy with our new A/C unit and are glad we purchased the one we did.

They were at my house on time and VERY professional. My tech was Ian and he was VERY patient with me and went through the whole process.

It couldn't have been better Chad did a great job explaining things installing and cleaning up after it was all done.

I am on a customer program with them. I have used them for 10 to 15 years.

Project went well, they kept me informed of arrival time and was able to complete project in the someday. Installers were polite & professional & would recommend them for future projects.

The salesmen visited my house to determine what I needed and to size the equipment needed. (He actually recommended a smaller AC than what I was replacing. ) The installer arrived on time, worked until the job was done and left the area clean. Before leaving he walked me through everything that he did and how to use the new equipment.

Sales call was honest & helpful, informative, Anthony Bonnetta was very professional, very hard working, clean, informative, was accidental, and booked but took extra time to explain & never acted Rushed or did rushed work. Thoroughly cleaned & inspected after done. Great to work with.
