Description of Work: Fixed our chimney top which had never been finished (new construction). Inspector missed it when house was inspected for purchase.

Description of Work: My gas fireplace was not working. Centerpoint Energy identified the problem as not the fireplace but a blockage in the chimney. I called London Chimney and they sent a technician the next day. He found ice clogged the chimney and cleared it. The tech was efficient, polite and friendly despite the nasty weather. The cost for the service was reasonable.

Description of Work: London Chimney referred us to a tree service for cleaning vines out of our chimney and off the house. My last submission had the wrong date for this referral.

Description of Work: Adam did a wonderful job with tending to my fireplace and educating me on caring for it. And he inspected my dryer vent at no charge as a courtesy for safety sake.

Description of Work: We put in offer on our 1st home purchase, had inspection done and they said that to avoid major cost down the road, have the chimney repaired on the roof since mortar and such was deteriorating. I checked Angie's List to find most reviews with positive reviews and narrowed it down to London Chimney. Besides a delay in online request, we were very happy with the experience. After knowing that it is a small company, understand the delay. The owner's wife Catherine contacted me and I called her back. She was very fair and nice. We were not going to use the wood fireplace, but the gas one...so she said it would be a waste of money to have a chimney clean for that. So she set up appointment for her husband John to come out and give a estimate. He showed up on time, was very friendly and gave a honest review. This review was spot on to what the inspector put in his report. The estimate was so close to what the inspector estimated, so with that honesty and reviews I have seen on A.L., we felt comfortable giving them the job. They did the work and I can say that we would hire them again with what was estimated and what work was done. Very friendly and honest company. From our experience, they are not about trying to make the most money and not do the job correctly. The owners are great and the folks they have working for them are as well. I LOVE to support a local small business company vs. a national chain!

Description of Work: Chimney repair and cleaning. The cleaning alone would have been$169. The chimney repair wincluded supplying two chimney tiles and screen - this was what cost so much. Did an excellent job.
