Ron was wonderful to work with! He was able to bring samples to my home the same day I called for a consultation. On the day of installation, Ron and his crew showed up on time and quickly got to work removing the old carpet. Removal and installation of the carpet in the basement and stairs took them less than five hours. The carpet looks great and is so soft underfoot.

Rob, Ron and their crew did a great job. I was amazed at how fast they were and even more amazed at how GREAT my floors looked. They answered all of my questions, and were easy to work with.

My experience with Performance Floor Coverings was excellent from the first contact to the completion of the work. I needed my 6 year-old carpeting stretched out. It had developed ripples and bulges that were unsightly and potentially dangerous to elderly walkers. Rob and Joe came on a Friday, gave me a very fair estimate and returned the next Tuesday to do the work. They were right on time! They treated my home with care and treated me with respect and humor. The bill was the same as his estimate and the carpet looks terrific. They even cleaned up after their work and vacuumed as well - with their own vacuum. I highly recommend this company for any and all things flooring related.

They were able to come out in a moments notice to get my stairs done. And they did it so quick and great work!

Excellent! We had ceramic tile in the foyer and half bath that had to be demoed down to the sub floor before it could be replaced with vinyl planking. The adjoining kitchen laminate planking was no longer available so it was a challenge to find something that coordinated well. Performance Flooring had a nice variety of products to choose from and we found a great match through the help of owner Ron Martin. He was informative, but not pushy, and was very responsive to our many questions along the way. In an older house, invariably quirks come up and Ron was a good problem solver. We also had all our existing carpet replaced. The crew of four that came over to install the carpet moved our heavy furniture and replaced it exactly and were neat, professional, and easy to have around. The whole job was treated like it was going in their own home. We were very pleased and will use them again and highly recommend them for projects big and small.

Ron and his team (Dakota & Joey) were great! Punctual, efficient, worked hard, super nice, did a great job. All around awesome experience. We had four rooms plus a hallway where they removed old carpet and installed new. They even included shifting furniture around as part of their estimate, which I really appreciated since we couldn't do it all ourselves. Highly recommend.

Everything went great! Dakota (I believe was his name) was very professional and explained what he would do beforehand and then reviewed with us afterwards. Ron did a tremendous job repairing our laminate flooring in our kitchen. The stain happened right before we were about to list our house on the market, and he offered to come out right away to make the fix. Couldn't have gone better - very grateful!

From beginning to end, the process went great. Ron was great to work with during the estimate phase. The carpet and vinyl selection was perfect for our needs. From our first inquiry, Ron was responsive and informative, helping us decide on the right product and color for us. Due to my wife's health, we use a wheelchair and a special lift to move her around the house, and Ron took the time to research their types of floors to be sure they installed a product that would hold up under this special use. In the estimate, Ron gave us some choices that affected our costs and advised me where it made sense to spend extra and where it did not. I never felt pressured or played, and this left me with confidence in his honesty. The work was scheduled out a few weeks because of the jobs that Performance had already committed to, and they started the work on exactly the day they said they would. Instead of taking the three days they estimate, they completed the work in two days. With my wife's mobility issues, we appreciated them completing the work more quickly than expected. Ron, Rob, and Dakota worked together efficiently, giving me the impression that they knew exactly what they needed to do. They even cut our old carpet to special measurements that I had given them so that we could use those remnants in our basement and brought the carpet down for me and even trimmed one of the pieces to fit together nicely in the areas I laid them. The floors are beautiful and, from a layman's perspective, the work and product seem to be very high quality. We had a couple very minor issues that came up, and Ron came out the next day both times to resolve these issues. We prefer carpet and would have kept what we had except for my wife's special needs, but for anyone who wants a hard floor rather than carpet, these guys know their stuff, and I would highly recommend them. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that I think they could have taken some steps to cut down on the clean-up required after they finished. I understand that there was inevitably going to be a mess, but maybe some tarps could have kept some of our furniture a little cleaner, saving me some time cleaning up.

Ron was punctual at returning my call. I received his name from another Angie’s list member that I hired to clean our carpets. Ron is obviously very knowledgeable about stretching carpet properly. I think the pricing was fair and I received a courtesy call to let me know they were on the way over. What a difference it made to have all of the carpet lay flat again. I would highly recommend calling Performance Floorcovering for repair and I’d hire them in an instant for any future installation needs.
