Description of Work: We aren't sure of the cost because we paid through a contractor. They did electrical work and in-floor heating for a bathroom remodel in our 1911 home. We were very impressed with the work and the professionalism of the workers we met, including the owner, who did some of the work himself. Passed inspection with flying colors and will use this firm again.

+ -1 moreI interviewed SO many electricians before deciding to use Vetter's for this job. I had discovered some singed lathe behind one of our plaster walls due to poor junctions made in the wall cavity (common with knob and tube), which helped make the decision easier that is was a great idea to rewire. Another benefit was our home insurance bill went down by 40% afterwards! Given that we have an unfinished basement, but a finished 1st, 2nd, and attic levels undertaking a job like this understandably could only be time and materials - there is just too much range in how much time it could take. Tyler and Joel were efficient but it was big job. I was very impressed with how little damage they had to make to our walls in order to fish new wires to every lightswitch, lightbox, and outlet throughout the approximately 3000 square feet we had to do. They rewired 14 rooms in total over those 3 levels. I would highly recommend Vetter's for any work in old houses.
Description of Work: Vetter's completely rewired our 1908 Minneapolis home which had knob and tube wiring. Joel & Tyler rewired all four levels of our old home, dealing well with our plaster walls and leaving minimal damage.

+ -1 moreJoel was very pleasant to work with and was extremely flexible with both my schedule and with the work I needed him to perform. His rates were also very reasonable.
Description of Work: Joel repaired several outlets that were either not working or were ungrounded. He also installed several GFCI outlets, fixed a few light fixtures, and replaced a few circuits in the main panel. I also had him replace my neighbors ceiling fan.
