If you want to hire Check Better business bureau complaints. Superior failed to show, took money, claimed he did all the work and the hired subs whom he did not insure or pay timely. He did not get ALL the required permits and violated building codes. Superior extracted far more funds than work he performed and then failed to show .We commenced litigation and Superior acknowledged our claims including fraud. Superior stated it would file bankruptcy if we pursued. We entered into an agreement where he pays back on a monthly basis a fraction of deficiencies he caused.

Had project ready to start August 1st, job completed January 26th. Owner seems like nice guy, workmanship decent, hides financial instability by fabricating stories regarding subcontractors or materials. I wouldn't recommend, but if you hire as your general contractor, I suggest revising the contract to include hard deadlines to the milestones with financial penalties for missing them.

Nick's company deviated from the contract it wrote by failing to show up, devclosed and any sub iating from industry and manufacturers standards and by supplying shoddy workmanship Nick's company defrauded us from money and when confronted he reused to refund payments he agreed he owed. Nick himself stated that he doesn't have to adhere to industry standards or manufacturers recommendations despite his contract. Nick's contract required him to supply "ALL" materials and labor necessary to perform the work but then almost a year past his expected deadline argued he didn't have to. Nick stated thgat he used all his own labor to complete the project except his father in law to do stone work and was prohibited from using undisclosed and any sub without proof of insurance coverages for liability and work comp. Despite the expressed and written prohibition Nick's comapny did so anyway and refuses to supply coverages. Nick has blamed the very subs he didn't need at the contract signing for delaying his job for a year his year. Nick has had subs state they don't want to work for him. Nick Acker's company appears to us to be desperate for money and unwilling to perform it's contract work as stated. Nick is aware he owes us refunds and a year and a half later has made no attempt to redress./ Nick himself openly stated that he did not install the Hardi -plank(?) siding in accordance with manufacturers specifications nor paint it properly so that our warranty is voided.
Description of Work: Nick's company failed to show up for work. Nick refused to provide and adhere to a schedule. Nick's company contracted to provided services which he was prepaid for and later stated he never had any intention of doing the work at the contract signing. Nick's company agreed to show for work but upon failing Nick stated he decided to go to state fair, and on vacation to disneyworld Nick's company a year after the contract anticipated completion date stated he would not supply "ALL" the labor and materials necessary to get the job done despite his contractual obligation to do so. Nick Acker himself is completely dishonest and lies to get what he wants. Despite Nick's statements that he had paid subs he previsously claimed he didn't need the subs directly contacted us that Nick was refusing payment. Nick was prohibited from working on the job without proper proof of insurance coverages but without our knowledge or permission did so. Nick refused to provide all proof of insurance. Nick did not perform work to industry standards and despite his contract requining him to do so he stated he didn't have to. Nick defrauded us of money and cut corners on the job to reduce his costs. In our opinion Nick is dishonest, lies to get money, and doesn't care about anyone but himself. Feel free to contact us I personally believe Nick's company is broke and that he lies for money.
