Description of Work: Slow on responding to my calls. The price was twice what I paid to someone else.

Description of Work: Ben provided several handyman services such as siding replacement and repair, woodpecker hole repair and painting. All the work has been excellent and within the time and cost proposed.

Description of Work: Dry wall repair in two areas is my home. On time, on budget, professionally done.

Description of Work: Ben replaced a back door and storm door to my house. It went very well. He hauled away all the old stuff, so that was really nice. I really loved the fact that he works Saturdays because a lot of places don't.

Description of Work: We had not gotten around to cleaning our gutters the previous Fall. We had not used a gutter service before, and really had no idea of the cost. After calling a couple of others, they were either too expensive, certainly more than I was willing to pay, or they did not even respond to my call. I called Handy Rite, and the service actually picked up the phone. I spoke with a woman who was very pleasant & courteous who assured me that the owner would promptly return my call, and he did. He was in the middle of a project and stated that he would not be able to clean our gutters for a couple of weeks. We set a date & time. Handy Rite arrived on time on the day we had scheduled. Our house is an average sized structure with gutters on both sides (front & back) of the house with an attached garage with gutters on both sides. He did a wonderful job. He had to remove a couple of elbows from the drains to unclog them which took a little more time, but completed the entire gutter system within an hour. He cleaned up any debris removed from the gutters. I set up another appointment for October when he completed our gutters on June 26th. I will definitely continue using Handy Rite. What can I say, great service at a reasonable price, what more can you ask!

Description of Work: Ben rebuilt my old garage door and did repair on my picket fence. He is thorough and incredibly efficient--and he does complete cleanup. I will be using him again.

Description of Work: I own a small business in Minneapolis and I was searching for a handyman to help me with various projects that needed immediate attention. Ben, the owner of Handy Rite, responded immediately and came out the same day to see my space and what I needed to do. He got back to me with a reasonable quote within 48 hours. Although my business required a few specific and unique tasks, much of what Ben did is translatable to any residential project as well. For my lobby reception counter he built a side wall with a gate; he caulked and sealed gaps in some wall and fiberglass joints in a bathroom; and he measured, cut and fastened panel pieces that we used to refashion a number of gates and a garage space. Ben was prompt, honest, fair and reasonable. I sensed right away that I would be able to trust him and that he would do a good job, and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend Ben. Not only would I hire him again, but I've already asked him if he would serve as my "handyman on call" for the various tasks that come up when running a small business. It's good to know that I've got someone reliable in my corner.
