drain cleaning
+ -1 moreThey were running a bit late but they called and let us know. They got the job done quickly and charged a flat rate. The drain is unclogged and I'd recommend them to anyone!
Description of Work: They snaked a sink for us.

+ -1 moreTHERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR A DRAIN CLEANER TO DESTROY THE PIPE THAT CLOSE TO THE PIT. THE PIPE IS UNDER THE FRONT PORCH, THE TREE ROOTS HE WAS DEALING WITH WERE FURTHER OUT, AND NO REASON FOR DETERIORATION BENEATH THE HOUSE. I'M ANGRY WITH THIS COMPANY FOR LEAVING ME IN THE LURCH. EVEN A SINGLE FLUSH STARTS TO BACK UP AT THE PIT. ALTHOUGH I KNOW YOU PRINT REPORTS FOR DESIRABLE CONTRACTORS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE A ROGUES' GALLERY OF THE VERY WORST. I'M DELIGHTED WITH THE PAINTING CONTRACTOR I FOUND ON THE LIST AND WILL SUBMIT A REPORT WHEN THE JOB IS FINISHED.
Description of Work: I CALLED THE DRAIN DOCTOR, THINKING IT WAS THAT SAME COMPANY I'D DEALT WITH BEFORE. THE NAME SEEMED FAMILIAR BUT IT WASN'T THE SAME ONE. MY FLOOR DRAIN HAD BACKED UP AND I NEEDED SOMEONE TO FIX IT. I WAS LITTERALLY STUNNED AT HOW BAD THINGS GOT. KEVIN WAS LATE. HE INDICATED A PRICE THAT SEEMED REASONABLE AND GOT THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT DOWNSTAIRS. I CAME DOWN MIDWAY AND WAS SHOCKED AT THE PUDDLE UNDERNEATH THE LAUNDRY TUB. HE'D TURNED BOTH FAUCETS ON AND JUST WATCHED AS ONE OF THEM DRIPPED. ONLY A QUARTER TURN TO REVERSE THE PROBLEM BUT HE'D JUST WATCHED IT DRIP. SAID IT WOULD BE ANOTHER HALF HOUR SO I WENT BACK DOWN AND HE SAID THAT THE DRAINEPIPE WAS DEMOLISHED, JUST IMMEDIATELY INSIDE THE PIT WHERE HE WAS WORKING, AS SOON AS HE STARTED IN WITH THE LARGER DISK. HE OFFERED SUGGESTIONS FOR OTHER PLUMBERS TO COME BACK TO REPAIR IT AND SAID HE'D GIVE ME $20 OFF TO REPEAT THE 'SERVICE'. DANG HIM ANYWAY. IF IT HAD BEEN FURTHER ALONG I MIGHT HAVE ACCEPTED AN 'ACCIDENT'. TOO CLOSE.
