We had two old silver maples that had been severely neglected and required trimming. And one unsightly pine in a bad location right next to the curb that we wanted removed. Previous homeowners did not tend the trees. To save on cost we wanted to mulch and remove the brush ourselves. Charley allowed us to do this. Charley assessed the trees, gave us a fair estimate to compare with other services along with advice on care of the trees and their roots. We compared estimates and customer service. The trimming was performed-the trees look great and we will be able to have them around for another 30-40 years if we take care of them. The tree by the curb was taken down. The lawn looked like a war zone when they were done. But we expected that with the amount of trimming. With a small crew of friends, family, chainsaws and a rented chipper we cleared up the yard in about 3 hours.

Charley came to my house on a Saturday morning to give me an estimate. He explained what he thought each tree needed for a trim and very politely answered my questions. Because of the rainy weather, it took a couple weeks for him to get it done, but he called me when he was ready to come to my place. I was also having my roof re-shingled and we thought the tree trimming should be done first. Charley called the roofer and coordinated a day to complete work before the roofing job. When I got home from work on the day the trimming was done, all the branches and brush had been removed and the trees looked awesome! I loved the way the removed section of lilac bushes turned out; the empty section is perfectly aligned with my gate. An invoice was in my door and the price was exactly what he quoted me. Charley was very knowledgeable about the trees and provided excellent service!
