It went horrible.

Got 3 bids for my back project. Big Al,s bid was the cheapest so we went with him. Big mistake. Did a good job until the finish product. Cement was uneven and his stamping started of fine, however halfway threw the cement started to cure leaving some areas looking like they were never even stamped. The day after project was over there was a big white patch in the middle of the patio. When my wife called to complain, both him and his son came out to look at it. They agreed it was bad work and said they would have demo it and re pour it. We agreed to wait until spring to repair it. Come spring, no call, no nothing. We ran into big Al at the home garden show in Minneapolis. My wife gave him an ear full. He said he would call us and take care of it. Still waiting for that call.

The job took almost 3 full weeks to complete. They did the demolition, then didn't show up for several days. Poured steps, then disappeared again for a few days. Finally showed up to pour the sidewalk right before it rained, said they "wouldn't be responsible for problems with it". It could have been finished in less than a week had they just showed up for 3 full days in a row.The guys on the work crew were cretins. Discarded their cigarette butts in my yard, hardly said a word to us about what to expect, when they would be finishing the job, how they'd clean up, etc. They cleaned their tools in my front yard, left a pile of aggregate that I had to clean up myself and killed the grass in a few spots.Sidewalk is already cracked in one spot, likely because of poor prep of the base. Also, they poured the concrete too wet and over-finished it, so it's already starting to pit in a couple spots on the steps.

They were awful. I was stuck in the house for 4 days because they did not get out because of both those snowfalls we had last year. Apparently humans are at the bottom of their list because they have too many big companies to take care of or something and they forgot and I was stuck in the house for 4 days. They came out and ploughed through my garage door and they pushed in so far that it actually made contact with my car. They did not even say anything and waited till I called them when I looked out the door and saw what they did. The price was way too high too. I also had to keep telling them that nobody shoveled the front walk. They were good the year before, but last year they were just bad. I spent $250 a month.
