Town & Country Granite

The installation went perfectly. However, a few weeks later, several cracks appeared. After repeated emails and phone calls, they came and looked at the granite. They said they were natural flaws in the granite, sealed them with epoxy, and said if more cracks appeared, they would need to replace the one slab.

T&C's services were arranged for us by the Galaxie Floor store in Bloomington. Jake came to measure, arriving promptly and answered all of our questions. We coordinated our installation time with Dave, which was unfortunately delayed 2 days due to a broken fabrication tool. The installers arrived on the scheduled day and installed the counters quickly and professionally. When finished, we noticed a couple of surface imperfections that were not apparent at first. Dave was very apologetic, and arranged for an experienced workman to come within a few days and polish it out. When he was done it looked great, and you cannot tell there was a problem. The only complaint we have is that at one of the seams there was a very small chip, and the seam is not perfect (The other seam is nearly imperceptible). While not perfect, it is a small nit in an otherwise good installation. Overall, a good experience; they seem to be very reputable and willing to make sure that you are happy with their work.

This portion of the project was outstanding. We browsed all the gorgeous granite slabs at Cold Spring Granite in Eagan and picked one out that we really liked. They put the slabs on hold for us and communicated with Town and Country that we had picked out a slab. Town and Country came out on the day promised and had them installed in a couple of hours which look fabulous We would use them again if we need granite countertops and would recommend them to anyone.
