Very well. We needed handicapped updates (higher toilets & grab bars), and also a new vanity top. Tom’s contract was thorough. The price was moderately high, but dialogue made us comfortable. As it turned out, Tom encountered problems ( rotten drain pipe connecting to the sink, adding trim needed because we wanted the vanity higher, adding additional outlets to the backslash, etc. He admits “I am not a plumber or electrician”, but that only means “licensed”. In reality he accomplishes the required tasks w/o having to call in help: and solves problems that others would have upped the costs. He only charged us for the extra parts required to correct the issues, and not the labor (and he had to make several trips for parts).

We had our master bathroom completely remodeled by Jackson Construction and it was the best experience we have ever had! Tom's craftsmanship and attention to detail gave us the results over and above our initial expectations! His tile work in our shower was truly art, you can see that Tom loves what he does and takes great pride in the result of his craft! Worth every dollar spent! The custom molding he installed around our floor tile was such a nice surprise! I am in love! We have moved around the country, have remodeled 5 previous bathrooms and built a custom home with 4 bathrooms and I can honestly say none outshine this work! Tom thought of things we didn't. His design ideas are right on! With Jackson Construction you deal with Tom, from beginning to end, no middle man, no B.S., nothing but superb work and honesty! Would not hesitate to hire him again! I highly recommend him. Would rate him with 1,000 Stars if possible! Stop looking around and call him, you won't regret it!

Excellent results. I am very satisfied. Tom Jackson is experienced and his work is excellent. He is had some creative ideas for solutions that I hadn't thought of. Definitely worth the money spent. I would use Jackson Construction again if I have a major remodeling project.

This is the best experience we have ever had with any contractor. He initially came to bid, then within a couple of days, provided us with a complete professional job description from start to finish, along with bid, and the contract. Once we set the start date, that first day, and every other day after he showed up right on time. If he was going to be a few minutes late, he called. Unheard of to be sure. As for the job... everything went flawlessly. The demo was much less dusty than I expected, due to Tom's planning. He pays attention to the fine details. The tiling he did is flawless. Every joint crisp, and clean, every tile placed with thought. He tiled most of the bathroom and shower. Then he used the Onyx shower base. Not in my original plan, but glad to have it. Looks great and worry free. We have an older home (1910) with old untrue walls. Tom’s tiling was so precise that it actually visually made the room appear square. He replaced the bathroom window with a glass block window I designed to make it look like a leaded glass window which matches well with the age of the home. It is beautiful as is everything else I would recommend Tom for any job. As a matter of fact, he is finishing up on a second bathroom mini project here this week. We had a toilet leak that required a new floor. Tom did the tiling there too. You will not regret calling Tom Jackson. It is as worry free of a home renovation experience a person can have.

To say we are happy with the results of our bathroom remodel is an understatement! Thomas Jackson did a wonderful job. What we liked about Thomas’ work was that it was personalized. Thomas said that he would start on a certain date and work exclusively on our remodel until it was done, and that’s exactly what he did. We knew when he would be arriving each day and we knew how long he was going to work each day. One of our neighbors even commented on how he liked that Thomas was so dependable and responsible. Since Thomas specializes in bathroom renovations, he easily handled the unexpected, e.g. creative plumbing (by the builder) behind the walls. Also, his attention to details made for picture-perfect results, e.g. very tight tolerances on tile, shower fittings, vanity, etc. He always had answers to our questions and he never made us feel like we were ‘putting him out.’ He has good communication skills, and would let us know immediately if something needed our attention. We were never left guessing about anything. Plus he has a good sense of humor and that made it less stressful for us to be inconvenienced for a few days. I have to say that it feels good to stand in that nicely updated bathroom and just enjoy the way it looks. We are so happy with the results and we are very glad that we chose Jackson Construction and Thomas Jackson to do our job. We have another bathroom that will need a bit of tweaking in the near future and there is absolutely no doubt in our minds that we will be calling on Thomas to work his magic yet again!!

Very happy with end product. I was “anxious” due to this being my first big home project/remodel. Tom was very responsive and gave great ideas/suggestions!

It went extremely well. He was on time every day, very knowledgeable and always called backed right away when we had a question. He completed all the work within 3 weeks! The work was beautiful and very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Work and communication was excellent. Faulty toilet (mfg defect) required several visits back and response time was fantastic! Tom is a straight shooter. Even though I thought the price seemed high, I felt his thoroughness of the quote and attention to detail stood out and the old saying "you get what you pay for" certainly is true with Jackson Construction.

We were very happy with the excellent work that Tom provided! He estimated that the job would take 4 weeks and it was completed in that time frame. He did all his own work which eliminated waiting for sub-contractors to do each part. We would absolutely hire Tom Jackson again!!

Tom was very prompt from my first contact all the way to the end. He Totally gutted the old bathroom and replaced everything with high quality fixtures, tiles, cabinet, etc. Not only did he give us a gorgeous bathroom, he also tackled a couple extra jobs I needed done. He was here when he said he would be and cleaned up the area each day. It was a very smooth process and I am so thrilled with the new bathroom. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Very professional.

We've hired Tom a number of times for projects over the last eight years. Wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. There have never been any surprises with Tom. He is always very clear about what he will be doing, he shows up when he says he'll be there, gets the work done in timely manner and does good quality work. He has also been flexible with the occasional ambiguity of our projects. With our kitchen remodel, we had detailed plans from a designer that he was tasked with building. The basement remodel was far less defined at the start. He worked with us to determine what could be done and helped with some design elements to get us what we wanted. He's helped us convert our 1920s house from a fixer upper to a beautiful family home.

i like Tom. He is straight-forward and clear in his communication. Very clear on how he would approach our project, but not as attentive to my preference for and quot;problem solvingand quot; (We are replacing a 66and quot; bathtub with a 60and quot;) Where i am confident based on his approach and confidence in his ability to do a good job, there were too many open-ended areas in his contract and proposal for our comfort. His competing contractor was his equal (or better) to attention to detail in project approach but more interested in what I/we wanted. Tom's bid did not include anything but labor and he was $6k higher WITH all fixtures. (I had selected all options and had then priced out) Having recent health issues in our household, I did not want any and quot;surprisesand quot; with unknown costs (within reason) Tom did kindly provide me with an option for a larger tub also, but my goal was to use a complete and quot;suiteand quot; from Kohler for a unified appearance. i think Tom is a great option, but not the best for our needs at this time

Mr Jackson was very efficient. He was frequently in contact with us regarding choices and when he made choices with our guidelines on different components of the remodel we were very pleased. His estimate was the most complete and he has the payments based on completion of steps that are well defined in the bid. He was excellent at informing us on issues that he noted while working on the bathroom that helped us understand other issues that might affect our condo structure. He did a good job on clean up and finish work. He was in close contact regarding payments, sometimes maybe too often for busy people like my wife and I. But this was much better than having contractors who did not stay in touch and keep up up to date on the status of the project. We were very pleased with the results, a guy from New York who was Minnesota nice.

Excellent experience - start to finish. Tom was extremely prompt in returning calls and making arrangements. He had good ideas to help reduce the cost of the project and the quality of his workmanship is excellent. I highly recommend him if you want a no-nonsense experience, decent price, and exemplary quality. Well Done! :)

Tom was extremely responsive from the first contact. He asked a lot of clarification questions and made some great suggestions. He is an extremely personable guy who knows his stuff. He made sure I was getting what I wanted at all points of the project. He was very timely and pleasant about coming back to fix those last little bits that always pop up. I would definitely hire him again.
