Excellent service from start to finish! My service man came when he said he would and completed the job when he said he would. He explained what he was going to do before he did it and reviewed what he did at the end. He was polite, friendly, and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone who wanted an honest, fair, and complete assessment of and care of their dryer vent.

The man who showed up looked professional, went to work, explained the problem and solved it. It didn't take very long and he had some type of meter that showed that my vent went from 26 to 32. My clothes dry fine now. He recommended that I call for service as soon as I notice that it is taking longer to dry the clothes, so I save energy and money. Good advice.

Absolutely wonderful to work with. We bought a new home and had installed new dryer not knowing that the previous home owners had never cleaned out the dryer vent. Needless to say our new dryer was not working. Sent them an email early in the morning to come out and they were able to make it out the same day. They were very informative. Changed our entire dryer vent since it was foil. Surprising that the applicance store we purchased the dryer from didn't mention that it specifically says in our owners manual of the dryer not to use a foil vent when they installed it! Anyway, I would highly recommend them! Fast, affordable and friendly!

They did a good job. They instructed me how to take care of the screen that you put inside the drier. They also gave me all general information about what they did, which I really appreciated. I would use their service in the future.

The serviceman was prompt, courteous, and professional. He called to let me know he was on his way, and arrived at the promised time. He took care to keep my floors clean when entering the house. He also gave me information and guidelines on how frequently this service should be performed. I would definitely use this company in the future.

My dryer was very clogged with lint and I had never had the vent cleaned. The vent is very long with several elbows, and Carl informed me that it was not up to code in several respects, part of it was plastic, it had screws in the parts that were metal instead of appropriate taping and it was not properly bracketed to prevent movement, and the outside vent cover was not the right kind to have. On the initial appointment he cleaned the dryer, and then returned a second time to repair and replace the vent and install a new vent cover. He was very prompt and professional, and explained everything to me in detail. I am very pleased.

Carl was wonderful to work with and took the time to thoroughly explain the process. He arrived on time on the scheduled date. I was the contact person for the work, and Carl did an excellent job of keeping me informed during the process and he followed up afterward. The work was done carefully and efficiently with minimal disruption. We will be hiring him to provide this service for our association every other year. Anyone looking for a reliable company to work with could not go wrong with this choice!

He was right on time. He was very quick, very thorough and very clean. He cleaned up everything after he cleaned my dryer vent. I have two dogs so it was full of dog hair. I would definitely use him again.

Carl did a great job inspecting the venting system and cleaning the vent. He noted some things that were not up to code and suggested some changes I could make in the system. He did not pressure me at all, just explained why the opening and the outside vent should be made bigger. He did all the work quickly and neatly. He was friendly and helpful. I will definitely call on him again.

The contractor arrived on time. He introduced himself as Carl Hein, he's the owner and president of the company. Very knowledgeable, groomed, polite, and informative in answering all my questions. After he was done he cleaned up after himself and showed me his personal cell number on the reciept in case something happens becuase his work is guaranteed. My overall experience and feeling about this company is execptional. I would definatly use this company again and recommend it to family friends.

I communicated with Carl by e-mail and everything went smoothly. He was able to send someone within the same week and gave me pricing information up front via e-mail. The estimate was for what he had predicted. The work was done quickly and professionally and neatly, and all the delivery guys had to do was connect the vent.

I'm a newer home owner and recently learned it is important to have your dryer vent cleaned on a regular basis to prevent lint fires. So after doing a little research on the web and Angie's List I decided to contact Dryer Vent Wizard. I requested service via Dryer Vent Wizard's website, the owner, Carl, promptly emailed me back the same day. I scheduled an appt for the next day which was perfect. The service tech, Kevin, arrived on time and quickly got to work to check out my vent. I wasn't sure where the vent exited the house and Kevin helped me discover it was under the deck (our dryer is in the basement). He explained what he would do, provided a quote, I accepted, and he got to work. Since my dryer vent comes out the back of the house under the deck, to access the vent from the outside Kevin neatly cut out an access in the deck, replaced my old vent cover with a new vent cover, plus trimmed back the vent line which had previously stuck out from the house too far, so now it is flush with the side of the house. He then cleaned the vent thoroughly and closed up the new deck access. After that Kevin came back inside and vacuumed out the dryer itself. The whole time Kevin was professional & knowledgeable. Overall awesome experience! I will definitely use Dryer Vent Wizard in the future for all my dryer vent needs :)

Our dryer stopped working and would have no response to pressing start button. Carl checked the obvious things that might disrupt power to the dryer. These all were OK. We both decided that the most likely thing was the dryer over-heated from poor venting and blew the Limit fuse inside. I told him I could fix that myself, but I would probably still have a venting problem. So he completely cleaned out the exhaust system of the dryer and installed a new vent to the outside. The work was well-done and up to code, unlike the job done by a previous owner.

Went very well. Early for the appointment. Quick and easy. Put a new vent cover on outside at no charge. Very nice.

Carl arrived on time and did an excellent job of examining my ducts to figure out what needed to be done. He explained everything very well and gave me options regarding the duct issues. I decided to replace a portion of the ductwork and he did so quickly and it looks so much better with fewer bends and joints. My clothes dry in a fraction of the time so I expect to save a lot of money in the future! I highly recommend Dryer Vent!

DVW was prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, very knowledgable and did good work. I would recommend them for vent cleaning or for bigger jobs, such as re-routing a dryer vent.

I ended up spending a little more than I originally thought I would for this service, but that's because I didn't realize how substandard my existing duct/vent was. Now that I have a much better one, I really appreciate how much sturdier it is, and how much easier it will be to maintain. The work was VERY thorough and VERY neat and clean (he vacuumed and left the utility room in better shape than he found it!). I'm very satisfied with the value and the quality of the work.

The technician arrived about 10 minutes early. His manner was professional and friendly. He explained the process, which was to check the dryer and then give me a quote for the work I requested. His explanations were clear and he answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed or pressued in any way. I had the dryer vents cleaned about five years ago. Dryer Vent Wizard's charges were in line with what I paid before. I felt comfortable dealing with a company that specializes in this type of work. I would use this vendor again, and would recommend them.

I phoned dryer vent wizard and got an estimate of the cost. The work was scheduled for later in the week. He arrived on time, looked at the job, and told me the cost. In order for the rigid metal tube to fit, he had to enlarge the space a little, and discussed the options with me. We decided that he would saw a little off the 2X10 (in the basement ceiling near the outside wall of the house) and take out a little off the top of the top block of the cement block wall. The ceiling in the laundry room is not finished, so it was easy to get to this area. I asked whether I could clean the floor behind and under the dryer while he had it pulled out, but he said he would clean it. He insulated the top few feet of the vent. He also cleaned the lint out of the dryer. He turned on the dryer and showed me the finished product. He cleaned up the work area well. He was knowledgeable, personable and professional.

They were very friendly and did jobs that we didn't even ask him to in regards to other things he thought was wrong with the connection to the dryer free of charge.

We were very pleased. We looked up a 1/2 dozen of them and started calling. We liked that Dryer Vent Wizard's specialty was strictly working with dryer vents. They have contracts with a lot of the bigger companies. Apparently they have been doing this for a long time.
