BECHTEL CONCRETE

The work was completed according to plan except for a few delays. After a heavy rain about two weeks after the installation we noticed the footings had sunk and concrete blocks were breaking apart. The contractor did not show up for a meeting with the engineering firm we hired to determine the cause of the failure and would not repair the damage. We hired another contractor to remove the footings and replace them with new one's, which was a difficult task since the deck construction had already begun. It cost approx. $8000.00 to complete the work, not including everything we had to do on our own. We filed a claim in small claims court and won a judgment for $7500.00. At this time we still have been unable to collect our money from the contractor. A copy of the judgment about photos can be provided upon request.

Dave was very pleasant, polite, conscientious, and hardworking. His crew was also great. They did an excellent job for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.
