Apple Valley - Eagan Appliance, Heating & Air

This company is very overpriced. We almost went with them, but I am glad we received other quotes. They are very responsiveness and courteous on the phone. We were quoted 700.00 for a new blower motor and 3,000.00 for a new, bottom of the line furnace. We received 2 other quotes and they were 345.00-350.00 for the blower motor and 1,800.00 for a new, better quality furnace. They also charged 99.00 just to come and look at our furnace. The other 2 companies we received quotes from did not charge any service fee. I will never utilize this company.

They were very prompt and courteous also very fairly priced. I chose them because the have been a family owned business since 1978..

This company was noted as the original servicer / installer of our Lenox furnace. Called Applevalley Eagan Appliance and they arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem right away and made the repair immediately. All seems to be working fine now. Overall, good experience. Rated D for price just for fact that it seems like we got overchaged. I have no idea exactly what was replaced but based on the amount of time spent and what I can see online for cost of the component it looks like was replaced, seems like 4X the amt of the part was charged. Again, not exactly sure what he replaced & I know absolutely nothing about the workings of a furnace, so I could be completely off base with that feedback... Rated C for professionalism due to the tech not taking off his shoes - Wood floors, white carpet, snow outside, living in MN....People should know to take off thei shoes or have some booties! Anyway, he didnt make a mess or soil anything, just a pet peeve at our house. Final word...End of the day, all we needed was our house to be warm and Apple Valley - Eagan / Tim Lockler repair service made it happen.

Provided excellent customer service. Was confident a quality job was completed correctly. Response time to phone calls was very timely and accommodating to my schedule needs. Was able to provide a time frame and called in advance to tell me he was on his way. Price was slightly better than competitors and very fair relative to the quality of service provided. Price stated reflects furnace inspection, dryer disconnect and return service to reconnect dryer.

Excellent, prompt, professional service in nasty weather! No heat in winter is no fun, and they took all the stress out of it! Many thanks!
