Joe helped us with a couple projects and did an excellent job! He was responsive, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He was professional, explaining everything and cleaning up when he was finished. We will call him next time we have a plumbing issue and have already recommended him to a good friend.

Joe was great from day 1. Joe helped us navigate through a nightmare of a general contractor, and is still to this day very helpful. Joe was always onsite when he said, and if late or needed to delay he would call to arrange. Joe was a very good communicator and looked for solutions to finish as quick as possible. I highly recommend Joe for any plumbing needs.

Joe Peters, and Lee, his employee, were both very professional and helpful. I had an unexpected leak in my old connector pipe, and was forced to turn off the gas til it was repaired. Because it involved gas, they were very prompt in responding to my request for help - came out within 24 hours of the initial phone call. Joe set up the appointment, and Lee came when he said he would, was courteous and business-like, and got the work done within an hour. No fuss, no muss. I would definitely use Peters again for any plumbing or gas related needs.

The previous owners of our house had sawed off part of a circular valve handle that controlled water going to the outside faucet in order to make room for a ceiling tile. This weakened the structure of the handle enough so that pieces of it started breaking off every time we used it (the valve is hard to turn so we have to use a lot of force on it). This spring the remnants of the handle were too small for us to be able to get enough leverage to open the valve. Joe Peters was extremely busy with other work but was able fit us into his schedule after a couple of weeks. He came out and replaced the handle with one from his collection. This problem turns out to be more common than you'd expect so he has a collection of used but sturdy handles that he has scavenged from other jobs. He was done in a few minutes and only charged us for the trip to our house. We've worked with him before and this experience confirms that having a smart competent plumber available really reduces your stress levels.

The sink trap in question had been installed by a do-it-yourselfer many years ago. We've always had some problems with it draining properly and then it started leaking. We called Jim's Handyman service but he doesn't do that sort of thing anymore (I can't argue with him, plumbing without training and equipment is frustrating) but he recommended Peters Plumbing. He came out on time and quickly diagnosed the leak but also determined that the trap had been installed incorrectly. This didn't really come as a surprise, but then he fixed it very quickly and efficiently (must have had just the right spare parts) so the cost to us was minimal. It works great now, two thumbs up!
