Everything went very well. He came out and gave an accurate estimate. He recommended stretching and not replacement. He answered all of our questions and explained what he was doing. He is a great person to work with, and we are very satisfied with the appearance after he completed the work.

Dick was very responsive and quick to get to our job. He was professional and flexible and the work looks great.

Great. Dick called back within hours of my leaving a message. Came out right away for an estimate and when his schedule opened up was able to get in to do the work just a few days later. The quote was very reasonable. Job done well. We are happy customers.

No response to my request for an estimate, therefore no knowledge of their cost, installation, product. If I don't receive a response within a week, I would not hire a company. It shows what their response would be if there was any type of issue after hire. This probably was around a $3500 job, according to other estimates I received.

No one showed. its now 1:15......no call, no text, no email???? tried calling # of office, VM... tried calling again VM, tried texting (its a landline) sent email... nothing Not sure what happened but Dick's Carpet services staffs time must be more important than mine.... Id try someone else based on the fact that no one even bothered to cancel appointment, but I guess that's the contractor way and the modern selfish world we live in these days...... Maybe they are just ***** @ Dick's....... Before I hit send the send button someone called and said they could come out later as they were just busy. I said I was not interested and then the person went on to deny they talked to me earlier in the day....and they talked to me the night before... Very confusing to follow the logic and how being busy trumps the fact that we had an appointment. RUN FOR THE HILLS

It's a pleasure to work with a competent and honest contractor like Dick. I'm thrilled with the work, our carpet looks brand new!

Dick was great to work with and very personable right from the first phone call! After hearing his estimate I chose not to pursue other estimates because his pricing was very reasonable, which saved us so much time. We used a carpet distributor he referred us to and we are very happy with the carpet we chose. He did an awesome job and was very thorough! He takes great pride in the quality of work he provides and it shows! The carpet really transformed our basement into a usable space. If we have additional carpet needs in the future no doubt we will be using Dick's services again!

I am in the trades myself and know a good tradesman when they are done with there work. He did all i asked for a price i was happy with. I had removed the old carpet. He showed me samples and supplied the carpet and installed it. High quality work as he has been doing it a long time. We worked out a schedule and he did the work when he said he would. I would have no issues recommending him or using him again.

Dick is unbelievable! He came out. Told us what it would cost for his labor to replace the old carpet. It was a very competitive bid. HOWEVER although the carpet was soiled after nearly 20 years but was very good quality he suggested we consider having it professionally cleaned before deciding to replace it. We called a cleaner he recommended, and he was able to make the old carpet look as good as new! Dick will stay at the top of my list for any future carpet needs.

Dick provided us with wonderful service. He is very conscientious about providing a quality service for his customers. Dick is also one of the hardest working contractors we have ever hired! We called him Monday morning. He came out Monday afternoon to bid the job. Dick was very candid that our carpet stretching wasn't a good idea, would be a waste of money. On Tuesday he came over with samples. Then he called his suppliers to find the carpet we wanted. Dick started the installation on Thursday, fitting us in before his vacation. We would absolutely use Dick's Carpet Service again!

Dick's was very responsive - my message was returned the same day and an appointment was scheduled. I appreciated how quickly he was able to come to my condo to fix the carpet that needed to be "repaired". He was very professional and did a great job for a fair price. .

I have used Dick once before on a smaller project and was pleased with his work. This was a larger project and more challenging due to an uneven floor in a very old house. He did a remarkable job leveling mad smoothing out bumps in the floor. The room looks wonderful and the carpeting feels great. Very nice attention to detail in all aspects of the process.

He did a wonderful job. He came out the next day after the initial appointment to repair the work. You can't even tell there was an issue in that area before, since he did such a good job. His cost was more than reasonable, and he even apologized for the price since the service provider that attempted to fix it before had done such an awful job. He was very neat and cleaned up well.

He was fairly priced, came when he said he would, and was very professional. He cleaned up everything and efficiently installed the carpet.

I found Dick's Carpet Service on Angie's List. He's a one-man shop who's been in the business for many years. After taking a look at the job, he sent us to a showroom in Golden Valley to choose our carpet--eliminating all the sales-pitch/middle-man nonsense--and we took some samples home. When we'd picked what we wanted, he ordered, delivered and installed it. Our basement has several pillars in it so he had a lot of odd cuts to do but they're all perfect. The best part is that a few years after the original install, we ripped out an adjacent bar area and wanted to add carpet in that area. He pulled our records, ordered more carpet and patched it up so well that I'd forgotten we even had it done. He also did the stairs and we're very happy with the whole process.

Dick was awesome, came on time and prepared. He did a flawless job all in just couple hours. I was worried about the seam in the carpet, but I am not sure how he did it, no one can tell the carpet is joined now.

Called Dick at 8am... he had an opening for 12pm and fit me in right away. I had four paint spots on new carpet after our dog got a hold of some of our kid's paint for art projects. I had tried to repair the carpet myself and it looked terrible. Dick showed up on time, was exceeding polite and professional and did a fantastic job patching the four spots with remnant carpet I had saved from the original install. Would use Dick again and highly recommend.
