The cable was out in the middle of the night I guess about a month or so and my husband told them. I would say it’s probably a “D” – the internet goes out all the time and the cable will go out with storms and our phone doesn’t work most of the time. They don’t care it’s not their problem. We don't watch much TV so if I could find something better I would switch.
Description of Work: For cable, internet and phone services we used Mediacom.

I spend way too much for Mediacom's service. They keep going up on their prices and that is one of the reasons I want to switch over to another provider. The Internet service is spotty. Sometimes it will throw me off for no reasons known. I can get hold of customer service but they just apologize and take forever to fix it. They haven't offered me anything to make up for it or lowered my bill which is frustrating. My phone has all the regular features along with long distance. When my cable does go out and I call customer service, I usually get a recording that indicates that there is a problem in my area and that they will fix it as soon as possible so I just sit and wait. I am not in a rural area particularly. If I was in a remote area, I might expect that. It takes them a long time to get the problem fixed. I have just one TV and I have BBR in the cable that I think costs me $10 a month. When the Mediacom service is working, it is fine. They have been very punctual whenever I have had them come to the house. If they say they are going to be here at 11 o'clock, they are here at 11 o'clock. I have tried several things to resolve the issues, but now I am in the market to switch.
Description of Work: I get my TV, landline, and Internet services through Mediacom.

I like the fact that they provide cable service to us. They do have a lot of problems with people cutting their lines and they do that once in a while and since we are on a package deal, we lose the internet, the cable and the telephone service.
Description of Work: I used Mediacom for about five years as our cable provider. They also provide our internet and telephone service.

I don't like them at all. First they're over priced and the quality is poor. We don't hardly get anything for what we're paying. At the moment they are the only option in our area, but recently there's one that we are looking at now.
Description of Work: Mediacom is my TV cable and Internet service provider. I have been using them for 16 years.

We have had a few times that it goes out or gets weird when the wind is blowing hard. We get very good quality, high definition and a lot of variety. Even without having paid channels, we still get a lot of good channels. We pay at the beginning of the month. In terms of price, they are all high. In terms of punctuality, they were good when they came and set it up. We have never needed to call for service at home. Unless I can find something cheaper, I would continue to use this provider in the future.
Description of Work: I started out with Mediacom for my cable/internet and phone land line. After our contract was up they jacked up the prices since the specials were over so I had the phone removed and negotiated my price down to around $111, which still seems high for just cable and internet so I did some checking on other services in the area but there are not much to choose from - only dish services which I do not prefer to have.
