At first it went beautifully. The leader of the crew that picked up the furnature was fast, efficient and amazing in his abilliity to
figure out how to dismantle the armoire, whiich was held together with wooden pegs only.
The consignment arrived on time.
Then it went south. The crew who delivered the furnature had no idea how to reassemble the armoire, and they had no tools to use, even if they did.
The struggled with it for an hour or less, then said they had other items to delliver... and left it partially and incorrectly assembled.
They had also chipped a large piece out of the bed.. on top of the side rail, but pretended they didn't do it.
When I called the company they agreed to have me call a professiol antiqe repairer, who offered to fix the bed and put the armoire back together. He told Viking he would charge $445 to do both. They offered him $100. After repeated emails and phone calls to Viking to try to negotiate the issue went ignored, we paid the $445 ourselves.
For what its worth, I even sent Viking's parent company Atlas Moving and Storage all my corspondence with Viking, buyt they too, never responded
This review took so long because we have had a double move since it all happened, and only recently found all the paperwork.
