Travis showed up on time when we needed him!!...could not fix the oil furnace we had (it was running when he left though!!!) it was an older unit.... could no longer get parts!!... but over the next few days hooked us up with another newer unit and a good deal!!...great service and and something else hard to find in local contractors??...his personal concern!!...a rare thing in havoc around here!! ...thanks to Home Advisor!!....and thanks to Travis too!!..... you guys are pro's!!

I needed a non vented propane heater repaired in my rustic one-room cabin. Northstar said it needed a part in the heater that they could not order and after 6 weeks (from when I first contacted them) of not getting back to me, they said they can't install a new non vented heater ($200) but would install a new system for $2450. The outside regulator vent was cleaned and turned down so it does not plug by someone else and now my heater is repaired.

They did excellent work for a good price. Good communication.

Professional and very knowledgeable. Explained all available options for our water heater and boiler install and let us chose the option we thought best. Easy to get in touch with and on time. Definitely recommend.

Installation of A/C was executed as per quote (2 successive afternoons). Installation crew was efficient and friendly. Would recommend for future projects.

They showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem and had a new furnace installed the next business day in a matter of a few hours and actually left my place cleaner than when they came

Travis (the contact person) explained the options very clearly at the time of the estimate, and clarified for me all the terms associated with this type of installation. Not only did they install the air conditioning unit in one day with minimal household disruption, when they heard that I was getting a new gas stove in the next couple of weeks (replacing electric), and needed someone to bring a gas line up to the kitchen, they agreed to do that for me as well since their "gas guy" had to perform specific operations for the air conditioning unit. They just added an extra $200.00 to my bill, which was 1/3 the cost I had gotten earlier from a plumber. When the gas stove arrived, I called Northstar and they arranged for their "certified" gas guy to come and "install' the gas range. What a deal! Great customer service.

This is a great company. The initial call to the completion of the repair was 5 star. Friendly, courteous, competent and a very reasonable cost.
