MUDEK FLOORING

Nice people, did a great job!

Shame on us! We had heard that Mudek was amazing to work with. So we didn't shop around. This was an insurance claim. After we had them order the flooring, my husband checked with another company for the exact same brand and flooring. Mudeks estimate seemed really high for laminate flooring even though it was top of the line. Sure enough their competitor was $1.50 cheaper per square foot! OUCH! We immediately informed Mudek of this - no response. Their show room is great and the actual installation is beautiful, except they never finished our entryways. We paid for Transition pieces at our doorways, but they never installed them. Their reasoning was because we removed our own trim and demo the old flooring, that they weren't sure what we used for trim. In the end, we now have gaps at our door ways that we will have to trim ourselves. I wouldn't use them again or recommend them.

Mudek was very prompt and went out of their way to give me a quick quote and install. I didn't compare price, I could tell they were a reliable professional contractor and felt the price was well worth the peace of mind. Carpet was installed within 4 days of calling Mudek and it looks great!

Everything went perfectly! Other than the fact that the new carpet was in place, I wouldn't have even known they were there; they cleaned up wonderfully!! It has been 1.5 years and the carpet has held up perfectly. I would definitely recommend them! Actually, we're renovating our upstairs and need to take up the carpet, and I'll be contacting Mudek to help put it back down and piece together.

Mudek flooring had great ideas, fair prices and excellent installation service. Would definitely use them again.
