I had a very good experience with PDR. It was a little bit of a bumpy ride but, in the end (4/2023), I have a nice room addition both interior and exterior. Once I was in queue for construction actually taking place, Courtney and I emailed back and forth a lot. The workers who came into my home were friendly and I thought trustworthy. PDR had a labor snafu in 2022, but that's now resolved and I think the company has carefully reinvented itself. The last thing installed was a new gutter system around the construction area -- and I thought that was really well done. I'm a happy customer

Clearly this is not the same company that received many positive reviews before 2020. I signed a contract for a bathroom remodel in 10/21 and the project is still not finished. Initially, I dealt with some very nice people but early in 2022, I was told that Sean Peters, the owner was “taking time aware to deal with personal issues.” After that, at least 9 people resigned, including the nice people I had previously dealt with, and my project completely fell apart, not honoring requests I had made with the initial crew. There was a revolving door of workers and many times I didn’t even know when someone would show up. There was virtually no over site or supervision. I was told the project wild be done by the end of April and when they were far from finishing in August, I threatened legal action if things weren’t completed by September. They picked up the pace and the last time I saw anyone was 9/24. They left behind a 2 inch gap between the bedroom carpet and the bathroom tile. There are large swaths of paint against 2 walls outside of the bathroom. They set up a date to fix these items and no showed. I told them I would not make the final payment until the work was completed to my satisfaction. “Guy in change” Brian Williams called me “belligerent and condescending” and threatened to slap a lien on my house. I had previously asked to speak with him and they did not allow me to do so, only to emerge and attempt to bully a 70 year old woman. That was the first week of January and I have heard nothing from them since that date. I found Sean Peters on Facebook and messaged him twice and he did not respond. Judging from his Facebook posts, he would probably respond if you are an election denier, QAnon follower, or watch Julie Green on the Christian Prophetic Network. I deeply discourage anyone from getting mixed up with this “hot mess” of a company.

Working with PDR has been nothing short of harrowing. For the better part of a year we have had to be our own project manager for our kitchen and living room remodel. Our actual assigned project manager, Cole Vagovich, did 3 site visits for the duration of the project despite several quality issues that came up. The electrical work done in August 2022 was underpowered so in October 2022, they had to return and rewire by cutting into my finished basement ceiling. The repairs have been unfinished going on 6 months. And my lights still flicker. We also had to have the backsplash PDR installed torn out and redone due to several quality issues. Cole Vagovich told me that we were legally obligated to have the tile installer return to try and fix his work. We consulted two attorneys that confirmed this was NOT a law and we are not legally obligated to have the same installer return to fix the tile. In the end, PDR gave us a $3500 credit to have it torn out and reinstalled by another company. It turned out beautifully. However, the demo crew removed the frame around the window so they could tile there, and discovered the inside frame was just resting, unsecured in the opening. This just scratches the surface of the issues we faced with PDR.

The scheduling went very well and the project was completed in a timely manner. We were exceptionally pleased with the product and installation quality. The crews were very conscientious and were adaptable to details that were requested. Repairs to the sheathing were carefully performed before siding was installed. The building inspector noted that the flashing and caulking was well done. With the addition of Tyvek house wrap and taping and the new windows I expect my heating and air conditioning bills will go down. Thank you to PDR and their exceptional crew.

Very friendly and knowledgeable employees, their warranty is very impressive. My windows are nice and the installer did a great job. I was told by the salesman that I didn’t need to replace all of my windows but then soon found out I did so had to hire for two separate jobs. When they put in the second set of windows they didn’t deliver what I asked for and had a weak explanation for this, they followed up with a solution which was fine just not ideal. Overall I love my windows, very nice people but definitely lack of communication.

I am happy with the end result. The roof looks great, and I did not have any issues with leaking over the winter. So the quality of the work is not in question. Communication throughout the job was adequate, though I would prefer a more proactive involvement from the contractor. But that's pretty hard to find anywhere, unfortunately. I was a little disappointed with their involvement with the initial insurance company assessment. I'd have liked for PDR to be present while the adjuster was inspecting the damage. I understand the adjusters aren't exactly proactive in scheduling. But some of my neighbors managed to get new siding as well, and I wonder if someone with more expertise might have talked my adjuster into that as well. It was definitely debatable, though.
Description of Work: PDR handled the replacement of my roof due to hail damage, as well as other minor repairs (window wraps, screens, etc.). This was an insurance claim, so there wasn't much out of pocket expense myself (other than an upgrade to the shingles instead of what insurance was going to cover).

The project went well, with the project starting on time and finished as expected. They also met with the insurance inspectors and made sure that we got everything replaced that the hail storm had damaged. Very knowledgeable and professional company.
Description of Work: New roof, after a hail storm. We have a very high and very steep roof. They were able to do the roof even with the difficult circumstances. I wanted an alternative to cedar shakes, and they were able to find me a high end, long warrenty roof that looked as nice as the cedar shakes. It's hopefully the last roof I'll need for 30 years. They also replaced skylights and window cladding damaged by the hail.

Contacted this company as a referral from my credit union to replace a pair of windows on a home I recently purchased. On my initial call, the person and extension I was told to ask for didn't exist so I was transferred to another party whose name also did not match the voice mail. When I called back a 2nd time as I assumed they mis-transferred I then was transferred to Ken, whom i assume was a sales rep as he immediately began probing for info and was determined to send someone out when both my wife and I were home. I explained the reason for my call and simply wanted to schedule a time to have a window repair done nothing more nothing less. Ken insisted we both be home and asked if any additional work or remodeling was possible. I set the appointment with Ken for 6:30pm the following evening. Around 9pm the same day I miss a call and get a voicemail from a woman named Deb that wanted to reschedule for 7:30 and said no need to call back unless the new time wouldn't work. Not ideal with 2 small children needing to get to bed (this repair is in one of their rooms) but wanting to get this completed ASAP I let it go. The day of the appointment I get another missed call, but no message left. Recognizing the number this time I called them right back. Ken picks up and wants to now reschedule for the following week, stating they sent 1/2 their staff out for a storm that hit the southern portion of the state. This was not acceptable and I stated such. Ken basically hung up and the appointment came and went. No call no show. I cannot see how a local business would have such poor customer service in this day and age. Small businesses live on referral business and with the power of the web, poor reviews are easy to report. I cannot refer this business to anyone based on my experience. From the initial call to the pushiness over the phone to the lack of respect for my time and non-existent follow up. I will be leaving a similar review on all sites that offer an option to including Angies List. Not acceptable!

The initial call from the Credit Union was to look at 1 window, and no company they had contacted was willing to send anyone out on that small of a project. PDR’s philosophy is, to the best of our ability, assist homeowners as best we can. PDR’s goal is to build strong customer relationships with great service and quality work. How the confusion on the name first came about was probably a miscommunication with the Credit Union and the appointment to look at the window was set. As stated, PDR did attempt to reschedule the appointment due to the fact the majority of our staff was working in the southern part of the state with homeowners, some with severe damage, due to a storm the night before. While every attempt was made to accommodate this homeowner on a project many other companies had deemed too small to even look at, PDR has no control over the weather. PDR had to look at the big picture, and sending our staff to help storm victims with trees on their homes and broken windows, put a priority on customer’s immediate needs. As for the 9pm call, this did not happen. After several attempts to reach these people a message was left at 6pm. PDR had to reschedule a couple of other appointments, and with knowledge of the circumstances involved, those homeowner’s more than understood of our need to reschedule

PDR payed attention to every detail and answered every question I had upon the initial visit. Sean was very open and honest about how the process would proceed. He never pressured me or tried to push me into contracting with his company. I felt very comfortable with him. The work was done when he said it would be done. If I had any questions, while work was being performed I would say about 97% of my calls or E-mails to Sean were responded to within 2-3 hours and the other 3% were next day. If I needed something immediately of there was a paperwork question, his office staff was always there to answer my call. I am totally happy with the work performed and would highly recommend PDR for their professionalism, quality, and attention to detail highly exceeds the standard.
Description of Work: Our home sustained quite a bit of siding, roofing, and gutter damage due to a hail storm that came through my area. The entire roof needed replacing, two sides of the house needed to be resided, and some gutter work had to be performed.
