+ -1 moreBill the owner came out to my house and inspected both the house and the garage roof at my request free of charge. I had just changed insurance companies and my new carrier asked that the garage roof be replaced (the shingles were old and curling up on the edges). After the inspection he determined that the house roof was still in satisfactory shape; and, confirmed that the garage roof definitely needed to be replaced. I then asked him about new gutters and downspouts and having the fascia of both the house and garage covered with aluminum so I wouldn't have to ever paint it again. Bill prepared two separate quotes, one for the garage and one for the house with all my requests included. I proceeded with the garage roof due to its immediate condition and decided to wait to do the house. It's nice to have the estimate for the house so I know approximately how much I have to plan to spend when the time comes. We set the date and Bill and his assistant were there bright and early and worked all day to finish the job. I'm completely satisfied with the work and Bill is a pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: I had my garage re-roofed. First, two layers of asphalt shingles were removed and disposed of. I had the roof replaced with Owens Corning Duration asphalt shingles over 1 row ice & water shield at the eaves and 30# felt paper. New gutter flashing was installed at the eave & drip edge. I asked Bill, the owner, to also install custom bent aluminum fascia all around the garage so I wouldn't have to ever paid it again. I also had the old gutter and downspouts removed and replaced with new seamless aluminum gutter & 3/4 downspouts with leaf relief gutter screens installed. Bill had to replace 2 rotten boards as part of the process.
