Ron contacted me by Email after I signed up for the sealcoating special offered on Angie's list. As it was early spring he said he would again contact me when the weather would be consistently warmer. He did on the morning of 5/18 saying they could come that afternoon. In answer to my question about the cost for a driveway that may be bigger than 1000 sq ft as stated in the special, he said if it was they would let me know after measuring. The timing was perfect so I agreed. The guys came that afternoon and measured. My driveway was 1300 sq ft and I needed to pay an extra $50.00. That done, they did the work. They prepped the driveway and sealcoated. I'm very happy with their work and the driveway looks great.

Ron Reibling called and said he would be out the next day and about what time.. There was two that cleaned the driveway and another two that put down the sealant. They were very professional and told us what they were going to do. Looks great. Good for another couple of years.

I purchased this deal before the weather warmed up and was told from the company they would contact me the end of April to set up a date to seal coat the driveway. I contacted them the second week of May because I hadn't heard anything. Of course, we did have a lot of rain so they weren't able to do any seal coating but I still had to call them to set up a time. They were available to come out the next day which was fantastic. The driveway looks great and I would definitely use them again.

I liked that they came out and gave me estimates right away. They were prompt, when they said they were going to come they actually came a little bit early. They told my husband and I what they were doing. The driveway looks great.

I hired Ron Reibling from Aurora Concrete to repair our driveway apron. He also replaced our old sidewalk with a super nice stamped concrete sidewalk-patio. I am very happy with Ron's work! The driveway apron had cracked severely and then caved in due to washout. I got two or three other estimates and Ron's estimate was the lowest. Ron was also the most friendly and professional. After getting the original estimate, I thought I could maybe afford to have the sidewalk torn out and replaced too. He gave me a 2nd estimate that was surprisingly reasonable so I asked him about maybe doing a patio/sidewalk in dark brown and tan stamped concrete. Ron did another estimate for me and it came out to be about $3800.00 for fixing the caved in driveway apron by replacing it with a much wider apron that would line up perfectly with the sidewalk, a new sidewalk-patio with stamped concrete and a fresh seal coated driveway. The price seemed pretty good but I still wanted to see Ron's past work. He provided me with photos of his past work via email and addresses I could go see in person. I did go see 2 addresses. One address was about 2-3 years old and the other address was about 8-10 years old (both stamped concrete sidewalks and patios). One patio was glossy and the other was not (you get a choice). I met both homeowners and I asked them a lot of questions. Both home owners knew Ron and Aurora and both were extremely happy with Ron's work. I had Ron and his guys do the work. The driveway looks great. The apron is smooth and wide and looks great. The sidewalk-patio is absolutely gorgeous. The sidewalk bows out into a half moon and it about 7-8 feet wide at the peak. Perfect for 4 lawn chairs and a BBQ. We love it. The neighbors love it. Our cable guy loved it. It is a great hang out spot now. I was very specific with several things during the project and Ron was very receptive. So I think if you are specific and direct about timing, and adding more things to the estimate that is good. He will be very receptive. Ron was great about answering all my emails right away. That's a big deal. I would absolutely hire Ron again.

After cold winter the bottom of the driveway had deteriorated to a point where my driveway needed replacement. In March 2009 I called three companies to give me an estimate for removal and replacement of my two car driveway. Aurora Asphalt had replaced the driveway at my previous home and that driveway has held up very well for the last five years. I received three bids for the work. Aurora provided a very competitive bid and on 4/21/2009 I signed a contract with them for the driveway replacement and sent them a 25% down payment. I wanted to get the driveway done in May to avoid the summer heat and minimize the time the new driveway needed to cure. On May 21st Aurora removed the old driveway and regraded the area. They said they would return in a week to lay the new asphalt. Aurora returned on June 2, 2009 and put down the new asphalt. The quality of the work was very good and the owner returned, after I arrived home from work, to answer any questions and explain how long we would need to let the driveway cure before we drove on it. During both the removal in installation they were very neat and left no mess or remnants of their work. They were very professional.

GUARANTEE IS JUST ABOUT WORTHLESS. THEIR WORKMANSHIP IS TERRIBLE. WE HAVE A CRACK GOING ACROSS ASPHALT.

I SELECTED AURORA BECAUSE I SAW THE GREAT WORK THEY DID ON A NEIGHBOR'S DRIVEWAY AND THEY GAVE US THE LOWEST BID. AURORA WORKERS SHOWED UP TO REMOVE THE OLD CONCRETE DRIVEWAY ON THE DAY PROMISED, BUT THEY WERE 3 HOURS LATE. THE WEATHER IMPACTED OUR JOB BECAUSE WE GOT OVER 4'' OF RAIN THE DAY THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO POUR THE NEW DRIVEWAY. THAT CAUSED A 5 DAY DELAY AS WE WAITED FOR IT TO DRY OUT. I USUSALLY ENDED UP CALLING THEM BEFORE THEY CALLED ME TO FIND OUT WHEN THE REST OF MY JOB WOULD BE FINISHED. THEY COULD BE MORE PROACTIVE ABOUT KEEPING CUSTOMERS IN THE KNOW. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND THE ENTIRE JOB WAS DONE WITHIN 10 DAYS (RATHER THAN THE 3 PLANNED) DUE TO WEATHER ISSUES. THE WORKERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. THE ONLY DOWN TIME FOR THEM WAS WAITING FOR THE SECOND CEMENT TRUCK TO ARRIVE.

HORRIBLE - BEWARE. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD TIME WITH ANY VENDOR. THEY WERE QUICK TO COME OUT AND DO THE QUOTE, BUT SLOW TO GET THE WORK DONE. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED IN THE LATE SUMMER. WHEN THEY REPLACED THE ASPHALT THEY HAD TO BE CALLED BACK TWICE BECAUSE THE WORK WAS SLOPPY AND UNACCEPTABLE. IT TOOK SEVERAL MONTHS OF CALLS TO GET THEM TO COME BACK AND FINISH SEALCOATING. WHEN THEY DID, IT WAS TOO LATE IN THE SEASON AND THE FINISH DID NOT EVEN LAST ONE YEAR. THE ASPHALT BEGAN CHIPPING WITHIN THE YEAR OF REPLACEMENT AND IT TOOK 3 MONTHS OF CONSTANT CALLING TO HAVE THEM COME BACK OUT AND LOOK AT THE ISSUES - WHICH THEY WERE UNWILLING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT.

THEY CAME OUT FOR AN ESTIMATE, AND WE GAVE THEM THE OK. THEY STARTED WORK EARLY ONE MORNING. AFTER THEY HAD BROKEN UP ALL THE CONCRETE AND EVERYTHING, HE SAID IT WAS MEASURED IMPROPERLY AND IT WOULD COST $440 DOLLARS MORE. I HAD TO GO TO WORK, SO I SAID FINE, JUST DO IT. WHEN I CAME HOME, THERE WAS CONCRETE STREAKS ALL OVER THE DRIVEWAY, INTO THE STREET, AND DEBRIS ALL OVER THE ENTIRE WALKWAY. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO WALK INTO THE HOUSE WITHOUT WALKING THROUGH THE MESS AND TRACKING IT EVERYWHERE. THERE WERE EVEN BLACK HANDPRINTS ON THE SIDING OF THE HOUSE. THE WALKWAY WAS CROOKED, AND I HAD HIM COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT. HE SAID HE DIDN'T SEE IT, AND HIS EXCUSE FOR THE HORRIBLE CLEAN UP WAS THAT THEY WEREN'T DONE WITH THE JOB. HOWEVER, THAT SHOULDN'T MEAN I CANNOT ENTER MY HOUSE. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
