Working with Cutrite was a pleasure. I presented a plan for an Arts and Craft media cabinet and after working out some secondary details, Joel got to work and created a thing of beauty. Each time I called with a question/ suggestion I was able to speak with Joel directly. The only negative I had from the entire transaction concerned the length of time it took for completion. Not previously having purchased custom furniture I was unaware of the waiting period when dealing with a busy shop. In the end it was all worth it. Thank you Joel!
Description of Work: Joel took my initial rough sketches for a media cabinet, added his own creative thoughts for the style I wanted, and built an heirloom- quality piece of furniture. . Made of solid quarter-sawn white oak with design features that are typical of Stickley, this cabinet has become the visual center of interest in our livingroom. His mix of "flaked" and straight-grained oak was perfect. All joints were flawless and the spacing between the inset doors and drawer and the cabinet couldn't be better. He used high quality hardware that allows for smooth effortless opening and closing.
