SUPERIOR ASPHALT

In late June, a flier was left in our mailbox with a group rate estimate for our neighborhood. Although we did not see this until August due to extended travel in July, they honored the estimate, provided they could schedule us when they planned to be in the area for other customers. I agreed, and they said someone would call the day/night before they scheduled the work. I asked what preparations were needed and was given the below instructions. Workers would ring doorbell when they arrived to start the work, but would proceed if there was no answer. - Edge/trim grass/weeds encroaching on driveway - Wait 4-6 hrs to walk on driveway - Wait 24 hrs to drive across driveway - Wait 2-3 days to park on driveway **will see tire marks for the first couple of days, but should go away They called the day before and arrived the next morning around 8am to do the high pressure wash and fill. Workers rang the doorbell and were very professional & courteous when I asked questions on the work: 1st crew would take 15 minutes to wash & seal, 2nd crew would arrive 45 minutes later to seal (another 15 minutes). 2nd crew placed bright orange flagging tape across end of driveway, attached to wooden stakes (about 2 ft off ground). As noted in other reviews and responses from provider, fills may be visible but is as expected. I plan to use Superior asphalt in the future and have already recommended them to several family members who inquired after seeing our driveway. I usually do the job myself but this year I have too many other things to do. Scheduling was very quick and simple. The crew arrived on the date promised and did the work leaving no mess behind. My only gripe was that the flyer was not clear that seams are not also filled. Only cracks are filled. I like the seams filled at the garage apron and along the sidewalk. I ended up buying a gallon jug of filler from Menards and filled the seams myself.

Superior Asphalt did an amazing job! My driveway looks great, the crew was friendly, informative, showed up on time, and left no mess. I am extremely happy with the quality of their work, the very reasonable price, and their professionalism.

I contacted this provider using a contact form on their web site. They responded swiftly with a price that seemed fair. They answered my questions quickly and professionally and scheduled the work promptly. An unexpected rain storm caused them to have to push the work back a day, but they were quick to contact me and keep me updated. On the day they were supposed to come two men arrived, cleared the drive of debris, patched the cracks and then disappeared. Presumably to allow the first treatment to dry some. They returned a couple of hours later and treated the driveway. It went from looking tired and unloved, to jet black and as like new as a drive of this age is going to look. The crew did an excellent job, the price was fair, they even went into an rarely used area at the side of the house so that every square inch of blacktop was made to look great. I was pleased with the work, the price, and the quality of communication with management. I've never had this kind of work done before, but I was certainly left with the feeling that I'd be more than happy to use them again or recommend them to others.

Setting an appointment was no problem, as they'd set flyers in our neighborhood with 'in town' group rates. We were in the market to have this done, but hadn't been actively searching until we had a flyer on our door. Everything had gone smoothly until our appointment day had come, when we received a call the day of (instructions said we would get a call the day before) that due to weather their schedule had been pushed... understandable. Our appointment was set for a day later that week. The morning of the appointment we had seen the Superior Asphalt truck drive outside of our house then drive to our neighbor and complete another house on our street. The day had gone by without anyone working on our driveway, however we knew several other residents in the area who had set appointments and had their job completed. In making sure we hadn't accidentally been skipped we made a call in to see if tomorrow was our new time. The customer service rep who replied (the number you call is an automated line where you just leave a message) told us that we had been skipped and they weren't coming back out so we were out of luck. We did receive another call later stating that they had run out of materials so had to leave, and would be back at the end of the summer if we needed help then. (Why no work done when you stopped in the morning? No materials all day?) It was just one of those things where we were happy to be able to cross an unexpected item off of our to-do list, and then were left in the dust when it wasn't convenient for Superior any more. Overall the responsiveness was on point when getting an appointment, but beyond was a bit excuse laden. Price was very reasonable, especially with group/neighborhood discounts Punctuality and professionalism, i'm hoping this was a fluke as their other reviews are solid. Quality can't be addressed as no work was done.

We were preparing for our son's grad party and had just decided to get quotes for sealcoating our driveway when Superior Asphalt left a quote on our door saying they would be in the neighborhood. Their quote was quite a bit less than the others we had looked at and we appreciated that they could get it done in time for the grad party. They delayed our driveway for two days, which was kind of inconvenient since we kept moving our vehicles to the street each day, but they did call to let us know. The workers did a good, clean job and we are very happy with their work, especially since it was much cheaper than the other companies and it got done in plenty of time before the grad party.

Window Wizards came through in every way. My windows are spotless, the sills and screens are squeaky clean. I also used Window Wizards to clean my gutters. They were careful and tidy, leaving no messy piles on the ground, unlike some of the services we used in the past. Our downspouts were thoroughly flushed, and the gutter guards replaced perfectly. I will recommend Window Wizards to all my friends and neighbors.

They did a great job! No streaks or smears, no damage to my window trim like I have had from other window washers, and they left no mess from the gutter cleaning. They showed up when they said they would and were very nice.

I am Once again very happy with the professional results that were achieved on my asphalt driveway! It has been a great pleasure dealing with the folks at Superior asphalt. Their 25 years+ of doing driveways has given them keen insight into doing state of the art work at a super price. What I like best is their squeegee hand application, it simply will give a driveway like mine a resurfaced quality. The guys were friendly and answered my questions with patience, I could tell they like what they are doing as many of them have been there for over 4 yr's or more. The bottom line is superior asphalt does Superior work, and I have recommended them to all of my friends.

The work was done in a very professional manner and care was taken in removing screens and cleaning sliding door tracks and around the window sills. The cleaning also involved scraping off old residue and the windows are like brand new! The representative did an excellent job in making sure the windows were spotless.

I hired Window Wizards to clean my exterior Windows. Dana in the office was great, very Professional and easy to work with. She was prompt in returning my calls. The crew showed up when she said they would, and they did nice quick work. I will work with them again in the future. Windows look great.

We had Window WIzards clean our interior and exterior windows after signing up for a Grand Opening Special! Their crew was as advertised prompt and friendly. They gave us a 3 hour time window and showed up on time. We liked the fact that their truck looked like new. They were thorough and professional. We will hire them again...

They were doing driveways in the neighborhood, and came over and asked my mom if she would like her's done. She had been wanting it done for some time. They agreed on a price, and got right to filling cracks, then did some work for another neighbor for a while. They came back and filled in a couple low spots, and filled in by the garage door. Then worked at the neighbors while things set up again. When done at the neighbors, they came back and finished by sweeping hot tar all over the driveway. It looks very even and they really did a nice job on filling cracks. My mom is very pleased, which says a lot.

We called weekly for the past five weeks to have them come redo the cracks with no response. Zero customer service if you don't fit the mold.

Superior Asphalt did a great job! We had rain the day they were suppose to seal, received a phone call that morning to reschedule. Would use them again.

We received a flyer in early August that Superior Asphalt would be in our neighborhood and we could call to add our house to those having dirveways re-sealed. The price was good so we decided to take advantage and the work was done within a few days. Everything appeared to be fine until about two and 1/2 weeks later. My son parked his car on the driveway overnight and when he backed out to leave the next morning, both front tires pulled up sections of the sealant. It was NOT hot overnight; temperature was in the mid 50's. This happened on a Sunday so I called and left a message for the person who had confirmed our service (Dana); we missed each other Monday, spoke on Tuesday - she said she would email me a form. Meanwhile we should take pictures of the two sections, attach them to the completed form and email them back. We did not receive the email that day, so I called and left another message. Same thing for the remainder of the week - no email, called and left another message (NOTE: You cannot reach a live person on Superior Asphalt's phone system; you can get pre-recorded answers to common questions or leave a message.) FINALLY reached Dana the following Monday; she said she couldn't recall where the email might have been sent and gave me her email to send the pictures to - which we did. Three days passed, then got a voice message from DANA that they were unable to open the pictures in the email format. Re-sent the pictures in individual emails; the following day received word from Dana that she could open the pictures and she acknowledged the failure of their product and work. She said she would set-up a time for someone to come out and make repairs in the following week and I would get a call 24-hours beforehand. I did not receive a phone call all week and no one came to the house to do the work. TODAY (Sunday, 9/9) the doorbell rings about 3:30; it's the guy from Superior to fix the spots. I did not receive the promised phone call ahead of time. Needless to say, I won't use this company again and will recommend any friends and neighbors stay away from them as well.

They did a good job. He was on time and the job looks good.

Left an estimate on my door. Looked at their review on Angies List and hired.Went online to schedule and this worked very well. Received a call the day before. It rained for the day of work and the following day and the company called both days to let me know they would reschedule for the following day. Very good response from the office on this. Bill was accurate and job looks good. They missed crack sealing at the garage apron but I still would say they were a good company and I would use again. Bill came in the mail the next week. They did not require payment until satisfied with work. This speaks volumes on how they feel they do quality work.

Scheduled work...did not show, said it was because of weather. re-scheduled, no show. Showed up without notice. Work performed was poor at best. Called and complained, eventually somebody came out (at least 2 weeks later) and said the job looked 'perfect'. Let's just say my idea of perfect and theirs are totally different.

Very disappointed!! We signed up for sealcoating per an estimate that was left on our door. I looked up the company on Angie's List and recent reviews were favorable, so I thought it would be fine. They called to say they were coming the next day so that we could move cars,etc. I came home from work Monday to see that NOTHING had been done yet! Found a message on my phone saying that they ran out of sealer and they would NOT be back in the area for the rest of the season. They left a phone number of another company (without saying the name of the other company) which was supposed to match their price and said that I could call that place to schedule the service for another time. REALLY? What kind of company solicits business and then says "sorry, we decided not to carry out our commitments"? It's August - you can't find more sealer for the rest of the season? Unbelievable.

I had a VERY similar experience to the review posted on 10/21/2010. I was dissatisfied with the end result as well as the follow through by the company when I contacted them...and getting a hold of them directly was nearly impossible. My driveway is less than 5 years old - I didn't have any cracking, I was looking to do a preventative sealcoat. There were a few pock marks about the size of a quarter that had been there since the driveway was built - but barely noticeable. Superior Asphalt's idea of filling those pock marks was playing connect the dots by drizzling the crack filler from pock to pock - resulting in about 50 times more crack sealer than was necessary and the appearance that I have spilled oil on my driveway. The lack of care on their part has left me with a driveway that looks worse than it did beforehand. I put it in their court to decide how to correct the situation. Meeting with me to show them in person the issue so that they might have a conversation with their employee about taking more pride in their work would have been enough. Ultimately I got tired of beating a dead horse, paid my bill, and vowed to spread the word about their lack of professionalism. Make no mistake these guys only care about making a buck, not customer satisfaction. You'd be better served by working with another company. Following up on the company's response - I think the photos speak for themselves. There wasn't any cracking and, had there been, it certainly didn't follow the chaotic pattern that the sealer was applied. I'll go on to add that I'm fairly certain categorizing a customer as an inevitable complainer who will never be satisfied is far from professional. Stating that a cusomer could never be satisfied implies that you made an attempt to correct the situation and failed. I asked you to meet with me to discuss the final product. Instead, you called asking for payment, stating that you had looked at it already on your own and saw no issues. I didn't buy your line of bologny, but I paid anyway and earned myself the right to spread the word.

Superior Asphalt did a fine job for us at a reasonable price.Our driveway was finished within 2 days of estimate. Dana in the office was prompt about calling me back. They performed a very clean job.Based on our fine experience, I would recommend.

We had Superior Asphalt seal our driveway this spring. We got in on a neighborhood group for a better rate. They were always very prompt in returning our calls and very professional. We got a confirmation call to remind us the day before and they arrived on the exact day it was scheduled for. The work crews were pleasant and the result looks great. Price is not the lowest but not high either.

They are very kind. They are prompt, neat, and proficient. They were very accommodating.
