They came to a service call for a malfunctioning furnace. They made a quick adjustment and were on their way. The worker - Mitch - was very professional and courteous.

The technician was really professional and gave me some good tips as he was doing the inspection. It was a good experience.

Our AC unit stopped working during the one of the worst heat waves we have seen in years. I called Pronto based on a AC repair best buy coupon on Angie's list and strong reviews. Pronto sent a repair person within a day or two and they quickly determined that any repair to our very old AC might simply lead to more and more repairs of a unit that had already lasted well beyond its projected lifespan. The same day, we decided to replace the AC. This was the one place where I was not entirely happy, though I do not know that Pronto could have done anything better. It took more than a week to get the new AC in and running. I realize the heat wave affected every one throughout the Twin Cities but with a family member at home recovering from major surgery I pleaded for an accelerated time frame. Unfortunately, it still took a week for the AC to get installed. Meanwhile, a neighbor across the street had their AC go out, scheduled a repair, and also ended up having their AC replaced during the same week and it took only 1 day for the whole process by a competitor HVAC company. With the exception of having to wait much longer than I would have liked or expected, I found working with Pronto just fine.

This is the best experience I have ever had with a HVAC company since I bought my first home 30 years ago. The vent from my dryer to the outside of the house came apart. The duct had always been a problem due to the circuitous path it took throughout the basement to the back of the house. And it had been covered up by a ceiling in the finished portion of the basement. I decided I wanted a short, direct path to the outside. Eric came out the day after I called to give me a quote. Kevin came out shortly after I accepted the quote. He devised the simplest path, through the garage. It wasn't easy since he had to contend with ducts for the air exchanger and plumbing. Kevin was courteous and very professional. He even cleaned under my dryer! He also cleaned up the debris in the basement and the garage.

We would absolutely use Pronto again, in fact we did call them again when our furnace needed servicing. They were extremely responsive, helpful, and came when they said they would. No hassles and we felt very confident in the work they performed. Very pleased!

They were on time and determined the problem quickly. It took a few days to get the parts then they came out and replaced it (again at the agreed time). Technician was capable and friendly.

Pronto arrived on time for our annual furnace maintenance. The tech (Eric) was very professional and pleasant. He advised there was a issue with the timing of firing up the furnace and being 16 years old that maybe now was the time to replace it.( We were advised by last years' tech and we chose to wait.) The morning after Eric left, we had no heat. pronto promptly sent tech Mitch. He got it working(no charge) and agreed with Eric that it could fail anytime. We than called Pronto and one of the owners(Greg Sedgwick)came out the next day and offered an attractive. proposal to replace the furnace and Ac units.Less than a week later, the install was scheduled. Techs Kevin & Marty showed up at the scheduled time . They both quietly went about their business. They were professional, helpful, and answered all of our questions.They cleaned up and left our home very clean and neat.

The tech arrived on time. He took the cover off the furnace and shined his flashlight in to see the inside of the heat exchanger. After about 3 seconds in each chamber, he told me that he saw cracks in 2 of the 3 chambers and that I need a new furnace. My furnace is quite old so I wasn't completely surprised to hear this. He told me to call them to schedule a time for somebody to come meet with me about buying a new furnace, and specifically mentioned a guy to ask for. He ended up only charging me $50 for a service call rather than the $65 furnace tune-up. I went online and read up on heat exchangers and found that many unscrupulous companies will falsely tell people that they have a crack in the heat exchanger to sell them a new furnace. After watching many videos online and looking at pictures of cracks in heat exchangers, I decided to take a look myself. I shined my flashlight in each chamber, but try as I might, I could not see any evidence of a crack. I called another company to do another furnace inspection. Luckily, they had somebody available the same day. I did not mention a possible cracked heat exchanger. The other tech poked around with his flashlight for several minutes but could not find any evidence of a crack. He proceeded to use an LCD video camera on the end of a 2-3 foot wand to get a better look deep up into the corners of the heat exchanger chambers. He did end up finding cracks - but one of them was in a chamber that the Pronto tech did not see a crack in, and one of the chambers the Pronto tech claimed to see a crack did not have one. And the cracks he did find could not be seen without the aid of the LCD video camera, so there was no way the Pronto tech could have spotted them just by looking in with a flashlight for a few seconds. So while I did end up having cracks in my heat exchanger, it is my firm belief that the tech from Pronto could not have seen them in the quick inspection he did.

Pronto was the first company to respond to my leaking hybrid water heater/furnace. Installed new water heater/furnace and A/C the next day. Did a fantastic job. Reasonable price.

The process went very well. All service techs: Haso, Kevin, and Travis were courteous and were competent. So was my sales person; Jack. During the installation of my new furnace and air conditioner they found a defective shut-off valve for my original humidifier and replaced that at no charge, which is what I would expect from any company since they need to connect my new humidifier to this old valve. What they did that was completely unexpected and very much appreciated was they also replaced the shut-off valve going to my refrigerator water dispenser and ice maker simply because I lamented the low flow rate that I was getting from the existing valve. While this valve was only several inches from the valve that they did have to replace, replacing this one at no charge was clearly above and beyond the call of duty. I haven't had the new system long enough given the nice weather we've had since installation to comment on how well this new system works, but on the one 92 degree day, the house was very comfortable. This new system is much quieter the my previous furnace and it also occupies a smaller foot print than my old system. Kevin, did and excellent job of explaining the new thermostat and showing us where the new shut-off valves are on the new furnace. My wife noticed during our final walk around with Kevin that the housing frame for the humidifier pad was broken. Kevin agreed and promised to order and install it. It is supposed to arrive in the next couple of days. I am confident that it will arrive as promised. I declined to have them install it as it is a two minute affair that I would normally do upon the annual replacement of the humidifier pad. My only minor complaint is that Pronto did not call me to tell me when I should expect the replacement part. I had to call them to find out the status. I would like to make one suggestion to Pronto that I feel would be helpful to future customers. After the installation and walk around has been completed providing the owner with a written check list of what to do and when with respect to maintenance, and when to expect the city inspectors to call for the follow up inspection and when any replace parts will be arriving would be the proverbial icing on the cake. All of this was verbally covered, but having it in writing would have been helpful to me. Overall, I am very happy with how everything went and would heartily recommend them to anyone.

Eric was the person who was dispatched to our home, and he was amazing! After checking our Air Conditioning unit, the furnace and finally the circuit breaker box in the garage, he was pretty sure it was an electrical problem. Despite voiding concern that he wasn't an Electrician, he shut the power off and swapped the furnace breaker with another one of the same capacity and VOILA! The problem ended up being that $3 part! He was the BEST and he certainly does he company proud! They will be the first place I call for any heating/air conditioning problems in the future.

Ordered the half price AC tuneup deal and was so pleased by the service i got from Scott. He was prompt, curteous, friendy and professional. I have no problem telling all my family and friends about the great service i received from Pronto today. Dealing with Pronto has been an exercise in frustration. A company rep came out to our house to do an evaluation for a new furnace and air conditioner over six weeks ago. I have yet to see a quote or a proposal to do the work. I have called requesting a bid three times in the past 2 weeks. Despite promises of a call back with a bid for the work, I have received no response. The funny part is that we get advertising mailers from this company at least twice a month. Why do they spend the money if they don't want the work? In short, I will go elsewhere to buy a new furnace and air conditioner. I have to assume that the responsiveness of their service delivery would be as dismal as their sales process.

I purchased an Angie's List AC tune up deal. After the service, I wasn't happy with how it went. I called and spoke with a rep from Pronto. Long story short, Pronto looked into my concern and agreed to just refund me what I had paid since i wasn't happy. I thought that was very fair and about the best thing they could do in the situation. I may have had an unrealistic expectation of what an AC tune up involved too, but regardless, Pronto dealt with everything in a way that makes me comfortable engaging them again.

I had a new water heater installed by Norblom Plumbing on August 14, 2012. The plumber recommended that I have a potential problem with my furnace checked by a furnace company. I used an Angie's List half price coupon and was very satisfied with the service I received from Pronto. The potential problem was checked and no repairs were needed at the time of the service. I will use the company again for servicing my furnace and a/c.

Wow. These guys were exceptional! From the salesman (Nick) who came out to talk about their services and products to the guys who actually did the HOT work up in our attic for 2 days, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They arrived on time on the day we planned. They took great care to make sure our house was treated well - covered the carpeting, vacuumed both days. Took all the time necessary to make sure we understood our options on vent placements and thermostats. Installed the various vents and ceiling registers so that it blends in with the decorating. Patiently moved their trucks so that I could get out of my driveway. I felt comfortable having them in my house when i was gone and when I was there (I had to shower and get ready for work). Each of the guys were friendly and respectful. The electricians they sent out were equally professional (Pride Electric). I've worked with lots of trades people (flipped houses for a living) and these guys were the best I've seen!

The service was faster than expected, especially in this heat I had expected a long delay. I called at 12:20 and the serviceman was here at 1:00. He found an initial problem, but insisted that he check out the entire system. A good thing as he found a bad condenser. Freindly, professional, and reasonable. During my initial call, they told me about an unadvertised special that saved me $57. How could I ask for more?

The appointment was scheduled promptly, and the sales person arrived on time and was professional in his interactions. However, I was told I would receive an estimate later that day. I emailed the sales person in follow up, but still have not received an estimate or any follow up information. I have selected a different contractor to replace my central air and furnace. I would not use Pronto again due to lack of follow through.

My AC unit was freezing over and wasn't keeping the house cool. I called Pronto and they were able to get Eric out within a few hours. My central AC unit was 21 years old and had lost most of its coolant. My furnace was also 21 years old, and Eric helped me pick out a new AC unit and furnace to replace both. Because I have a small townhouse, I decided to go with the base models. Eric didn't try to pressure me into buying something bigger than what I needed. Because it would be a week before they could schedule an install, Eric filled up my AC with coolant and took time to show me how to redirect the air flow so that most of the cool air was going upstairs to the bedrooms. Finally the house was cool again! One week later, Kevin just performed the AC and furnace install. He showed up exactly on time and got right to work. Now I've got a new AC unit, new furnace and new thermostat, and he left the place cleaner than when he came. My new units will be much more efficient than the old ones, and I won't have to worry about the furnace going out in the middle of the winter. The house is the coolest it's been in years. Both Eric and Kevin were courteous, friendly guys that got the job done right. Thanks Pronto!

While Greg could not help with my situation I was very impressed that he answered the phone which apparently is their usual practice. I would assume if you were a regular customer he could then do a bit of troubleshooting on the phone just to make sure about fuses etc. He explained a bit about their company and when my current plan is finished I will call Pronto to get on one of their plans. Very personalized service as opposed to an out of state answering service.

I highly recommend this company. Mitch came to our house to check and tune up A/C. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very nice. He went above and beyond answering all of my questions as we have a new house and we didn't know how to efficiently run our A/C and three thermostats. He even answered questions about the furnace and air exchange system. I will definitely use this company again for all of my heating and cooling needs in the future.
