Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

It was easy to make an appointment with Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning. They were courteous and he showed up at the scheduled time. He's prompt. He was professional and seem to know what he was doing. It was kind of a quick appointment. He checked everything over and said everything was fine.

Pronto did a very nice job. We took advantage of a half-price deal and were able to get two furnace tune-ups for the price of one. From what I recall, scheduling was easy and timely. The tech was very professional and effective. He took the time to debrief us after he was complete, and even took some extra time to discuss other sevices (not necessarily services they provide) that might be of value to us given our situation. We really felt like they were considering our needs and not just their bottom line. We would definitely use them in the future as needed.

I called to schedule a same-day furnace tune-up. The customer service rep was extremely helpful and very friendly. She scheduled the same day service date without issue. The furnace tune-up was completed, but I did not get a call before arriving as I had been told I would. Since I was not home during the visit, this would have been helpful to know in advance. The tune up was completed, but I could not find the work order paperwork when I arrived home. I called the main company phone number and they gave me the cell phone number of the HVAC expert who performed the work. When I called him, I got his voice mail requesting a call back. I never received a call back from the service expert. I believe he did a good job, but he obviously wasn't able to answer any questions as I'm still awaiting his call back weeks later (and have called the main company line since without any luck). 5/5/13: I did get a call back from the service provider and am satisfied with their providing me answers as well as obtaining the paperwork from the service visit. They did send out a coupon for an Air Conditioning tune-up, but unfortunately, it was sent to the wrong address. They were going to re-send to the correct address and I have yet to receive it in the mail.

Pronto was prompt and easy to schedule. As their tech said the air conditioner was old (20+ years) and the servicing may or may not improve performance. The performance did pick up somewhat after the cleaning. As they said the unit was old and probably just needs to be replaced.

They did an excellent job. I thought the service technician, Terry Lynn, was very professional & very kind. They're a very professional company that's been doing this work for a long time & are very knowledgeable in what they do.

Furnace was making an intermittent high-pitched noise during heating and was displaying a low flame sensor warning. Pronto cleaned the flame sensor and was able to observe the noise during a heating cycle. They suggested that if the noise was intermittent and not extremely loud, that we may want to live with it as the repair would be costly. They inspected the entire furnace and advised that everything looked to be in great shape.

Turned out to be a very simple problem, due to a furnace filter getting jammed up, but the guys did a great job checking things over and were personable and pleasant.

Called Pronto to do tune-up our heating unit. Their customer service rep (Crystal?) was very professional and was able to book an appointment quickly in a couple of days. On the scheduled day, we were given a phone call 10m prior to an on-time arrival letting us know things were on-schedule. Scott, one of the Pronto technicians, arrived as expected, put on shoe covers without needing to be asked, and got to work. He immediately asked if we had any concerns or issues that we wanted him to look at and we gave him two: 1) our electric air cleaning (EAC) unit was 'clicking' frequently after we opened the baffle to the humidifier, and 2) one of our upstairs bedrooms wasn't getting any airflow/heat from the room vent. Scott quickly discovered that our humidifier needed new filters (which was causing water to leak into the EAC unit) and had new filters in his truck for under $14 (cheaper than Home Depot). He also took a look at our duct work and was easily able to identify the right baffles to adjust so that our upstairs bedrooms all got enough air flow. All this on top of doing a tune-up to our heating unit. Scott was professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and even funny. We felt he went above and beyond just the tune-up we had requested and was able to quickly and easily make our home more comfortable and usable. It was a pleasure doing business with Scott and Pronto and we will absolutely use them again in the future for our HVAC needs.

I was very pleased with the customer service from start to finish. I would definetly advise my friends and family to use Pronto.

The service was thoughtful and not rushed, my only complaint would be that I asked for an estimate to install a bathroom fan and never received one.

The install went very well. The installer arrived on time, the installation was done and completed within the time frame that they had told me (they said it would would be finished by about 3 PM, installer was done and cleaned up by 3). Installer went over the new system, including the thermostat, the humidifier, showed me what was installed, what they replaced. In addition, they said they would be back in the spring to recheck the a/c and make sure it was operating as expected. They scheduled the inspector visit and a follow up visit to verify all was working well.

I needed a fall furnace tune up/regular maintenance appt. and I shopped around and this was the best deal even over other A-List offers. They were everything I expected from this purchase. On-time at the appt., answered the phone promptly, answered my questions at the appointment. Thank you.

Service was some time ago; information given to help in the future. Very satisfied.

Very well. I remember the guy who did the service as he either installed the system a few years ago or had been out for other service work. The company excels with their communication between clients. Employees are all very nice and helpful. Prob. not the cheapest company to work with but I think you get what you pay for with them.

I called after hours to see if Pronto could still do a service call because my heat was not kicking on. I spoke to Greg who said sure they could send someone within a few hours- it didn't even take that long. Scott arrived and was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He trouble-shot a few different things trying to locate the reason for the furnace not getting any power. He determined it was just a bad connection on the furnace door switch. I was impressed and very pleased with his work ethic and integrity- he didn't try to sell me anything i didn't need and was honest about the problem not being more than it really was. I will utilize this company again and refer them no doubt. A very happy customer.

Very quick with setting up an appointment. Came in the time quoted. Prompt and reliable service! Did not try and tell me I needed other services done.

Nick, the sales rep from Pronto discovered a break in the duct going from the furnace to a heating vent. He said that they would have to cut into the bathroom ceiling downstairs to seal the duct. When the crew came out to install the new furnace and air conditioner, Robby, the slimmest guy on the crew, crawled in the open space between the floors and sealed the duct without having to cut into the bathroom ceiling. What a guy! The crew put a brace in the new return duct work right next to the furnace. This ensures that the new Bryant furnace and air conditioner run very quietly. They did an excellent job on the installation and cleanup. When it came time to fill out the forms for rebates, Crystal at the office filled out everything for me. I would highly recommend Pronto to anyone looking into a new furnace or air conditioner.

He was right on time and did an excellent job. He was friendly and offered some excellent advice about maintaining my furnace. I will use Pronto for all my future Furnace/AC needs.

They were great about responding immediately to our request and scheduling service. The technician was very professional, friendly, explained everything and completed the work quickly ... though he arrived more than an hour after the scheduled time for our appointment.

The Pronto visit began with a Friday afternoon assessment of our existing system. It was determined the system needed to be replaced. Terri the service professional spent a good deal of timje explaining our options, telling us the Pronto story and helping us decide what the best chocie was for us based on our home and lifestyle. She reviewed efficiancy, rebates, and installation process. Once we decided to proceed, a appointment was set to install the new system on Monday morning. Mike and his team arrived as promised at 7:00 A.M. to prepare th house for the work. They covered every floor and stair surface to protect them.. When they had to go elsewhere in the house the wore booties to protect the floors. They spent the entire day removing the old system and installing the new system. Along the way there were some road blocks and challeneges. The Pronto team dealt with them and successfully installed the new system by 5:00 PM. They explained the system, thermostat and care. Most importantly they encouraged us to call should we have any questions or concerns. Sart to finish a great experience.

Service was professional and friendly. Tech was honest, quick, and thorough. There were no issues and no up-sell. AC is working great and I have peace of mind.

We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish! We knew our air conditioner was on its last legs going into the summer but we held out to squeeze every bit of life it had left. We thought we had really done a number on ourselves when it completely stopped working during the ultra hot stretch we had during the first part of July. We called Pronto based on the Angie's List reviews and were pleasantly surprised that they were able to have a technician out the next day. He was professional and explained our options in a way that was easy to understand. We decided to have them replace our A/C without even getting a second quote. The technician originally told us it would be two days before they could be out to install the new unit, but we were thrilled with this since the heat was extreme and we knew all the HVAC companies in town were extremely busy. The technician even offered to try a short term fix on our condenser free of charge in the hopes it may make our house somewhat bearable until they installed the new one. A couple of hours after he finished his adjustment, the scheduler called us back to ask if we would be interested in having our A/C fixed the next morning- on the 4th of July! He explained that their company was so busy, they had decided to offer extra hours to their service people who wanted to work the holiday. Of course this was tempting, but we wondered how much extra that would be. We were ecstatic when they said it would not cost us anything extra. Long story short, they came out the next day, on time, did an outstanding job in insane heat and even did customization at no extra charge to make everything simpatico with our ancient furnace and duct work. They were quiet, polite, professional and efficient and we were cool and comfortable within an hour. We were so happy with our experience we even posted about it on Facebook so our friends would have the name of a good company if they needed HVAC work.

I was very pleased with the work provided by Pronto.They arrived promptly when they said they would be there. After about 7 hours the work was completed. They cleaned up the area nicely and talked us through the programming of our new thermostat. They answered all questions we had, were very curtious. After all rebates the cost was around $8500.00. Overall very satisfied with Pronto.

Had them come check on a central air unit that was not blowing cold. Showed up on time, inspected and tested unit. Presented me with and clearly explained options including recharge and replace. I would call them again for future needs and would recommend to others.

One technician had some problems, so he didn't hesitate calling in a helper. They spent a little over an hour diagnosing the problem, and repaired it.
