Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine.

I felt their sales was very high pressure. The initial quote was very high and after they found out that I was looking to use someone else they dropped the price significantly. I was not comfortable working with them because of this.

My very very old central air unit finally gave out. It was a trooper, but it finally died. Pronto showed up on time and told me exactly what was wrong and why it had to be replaced instead of repaired. The total cost was $3,796.00. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination however it needed to be done. I actually had a company come out prior to them and they said nothing was wrong and left without doing anything. Obviously something was wrong when it was 87degrees inside my home with the AC never being shut off. I read the Angie List reviews and took a chance and called them. They did a GREAT job. Gave me the best price possible and were very respectful and knowledgeable. I don't envy anyone having to spend the kind of money I had to lay out on the spur of the moment, but I do trust Pronto and the work they did.

I called to make the appointment and told them it was a very old boiler. The gentleman showed up on time and went to take a look at it. He came back upstairs and essentially said there was nothing he could do. No recommendations etc... I bought the voucher off of angie's list. If I wanted someone to come out and tell me there is nothing they could do, I'd call center point. Ifeel it was a total waste of money and should be refunded my money. I was able to find someone who was able to dig in and get it working wonderfully. I try to use local when ever I can, I was very disappointed with this pick however.

Called first thing Monday morning about my central AC, which had stopped blowing cold air the day before. Pronto scheduled an appointment for that same day, and Terri arrived at the beginning of the time window. She quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the bad condenser unit, checked the system, did a couple other things just 'cause she's a good person, and I was nice and cool again.

Techs Mitch and Matt were great! They arrived promptly, were courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on and proper maintenance. Our AC unit went out during a heat wave and they were still able to get out the very next day after I called. (They could have come out that night but it would have included an 'after hours' charge for coming at night. I opted to wait the next day.) Would recommend/use Pronto again in the future.

They were great. It turned out to be not an air conditioning problem and I have been doing remodeling and an electrician that was here in early spring actually rewired something wrong and it turned out to be an electrical problem and she figured it out.

Tech seemed very professional and knowledgeable. He wore disposable booties when looking at the furnace first, before going outside. He checked as much as possible in the AC unit itself and determined the problem was with the motor, not the compressor. He recommended a new AC compessor unit and possibly new furnace. Equipment is 30 yrs old. I think there is a few years left to the furnace so I'm waiting. Also Pronto only uses Bryant AC, and I don't know enough about Bryant's rate of repair, etc.

They arrived right at 1:00 (the time window I was given was 1-3) and it was a clogged drain hose - it was unclogged and back up in running in a few minutes. I was very happy with the service. I will be calling them to get a quote soon on a new furnace and a/c unit as ours is about 25 years old.

It turned out that the issue was a clogged condesate drain and was a simple fix. Scott was not only able to fix the problem quickly, but took some time to look at the furnace, the outside A/C unit, and explained some about the system and its maintenance, since we have just recently purchased the home. We were able to get a service appointment within 24 hours of calling, the tech arrived within the appointment window, worked efficiently but also did quality work. We will definitely be contacting them for our future tune-ups and service needs!

Our AC went out during a heat wave and they still made it out within a couple of days. The scheduling and interaction with the office was great, they worked to get someone out quickly, and scheduled the service call before I bought the Angie?s List coupon. Mitch was the service professional who was courteous, professional, quickly diagnosed the issue, and resolved the issue within a timely manner. A great asset to the company. Mitch was great as was the whole experience dealing with Pronto. We have had work done in the past that another company which kept trying to get us to replace the whole system. Pronto quickly and cheaply fixed the issue and verified it was running correctly. At no time did they try to upgrade us. When we go to replace the system there is only one company we will consider, Pronto!

Installation took the whole day and was mostly satisfies except it took longer than anticipated.

We've used Pronto before for a whole HVAC replacement at our last home where they did a great job so when we had problems at our current home we called them. Just like in the past they were timely, professional, courteous and efficient... Honestly, what more could you ask for?

It was a quick experience and everything worked out great. The entire unit was cleaned out very thoroughly and I didn't watch the guy, but he said he kind of want to do some basic diagnostics to make sure the cooling and everything was OK. It was the first time I've been using them. I was happy with the overall experience. They had me within two weeks of scheduling, which was great. The guy was quick and communicative. He talked about the whole process and did the job just fine. It was clean and what I wanted to get done was addressed, so it was good.

We can't complain about the service. they arrived on time and finished on time despite a slight shipping problem with the new water heater. Pronto might not have the lowest prices, but they offer a strong warranty and we think they'll offer good support.

Not sure the tuneup was necessary but went ahead with it. Would have preferred a better answer on the heating issue.

After an awful inspection for the sale of our home, a call to the fire department and a trip out from the gas company all for a false alarm we hire Pronto to come to our home and perform a tune-up/inspection of our boiler system. Travis the tech was right on time, extremely professional and very courteous/informative. The boiler was cleaned and tested fine and we are very happy with their service and speed of delivery. I called Wednesday and they were here Friday. Pronto gets an A+ from me!

They were everything I could have asked. They were professional on the phone and in my house. Scheduling was easy and they arrived on time. I am an IT guy and probably more interested than most by the inner workings of the furnace. They guy from pronto had no problem with me looking over his shoulder while he worked. He also explained well everything he was checking and why. I won't hesitate to contact them again for future service.

They were great, really good. They were able to come out very quickly. He was very courteous and informative.

The experience was good. He was really good about explaining what he was doing and pointing out things that needed to be done without the pressure.

When the guy was here last, he checked everything and flipped the switch on my furnace and turned off my thermostat. I walked by two days later and noticed my thermostat was not working. I called and they had someone out in forty five minutes. He came over, apologized, and flipped the switch on my furnace and left. I thought that was nice. I have not had a problem with their service.

We had a great experience. Everyone was professional, the price was reasonable, and they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. We felt that they paid attention to the details and we're happy with our new furnace, air conditioner, hot water heater, and garage heater!

They provided great customer service. We had 3 estimates from different companies. They were the only one to follow up with a phone call asking if we needed any further information to help with our decision. Great salesman without being pushy. Our system was eligible for various rebates. They provided us with the appropriate forms and information to make our applications for the rebates so easy. They walked through the use of the new programmable thermostat and made an additional visit to our home at no charge to help us get the settings exactly right.

Mitch from Pronto showed up on-time within the service window and had the problem fixed in under a half hour. (Bad capacitor.) I liked that he showed me the part, explained why it was bad, and answered all my other questions in a very helpful manner. A/C is now up and running just fine. Highly recommended!
