We have also had them here in the summer for our furnace. We were very pleased with them and that was why we called them again. We were pleased the first time so went with them again for the second time. I cannot remember the price that they charged but we got a discount of a good 50% off on the work that they did last week. I think that their price is $119 regularly or something and they gave it to me for $69 and then for whatever part I needed for the filter. It was a tube or something. We were surprised that we got such a good deal on it and that was great. They were pretty prompt. They were in and out. They do their work and they are gone. I do not have anything to compare the quality of their work to but they had their stuff on the truck and they did not have to go get it or order it or anything like that, so that was good.

Found this company very responsive. Everything went well, beginning to end. Purchased a deal from Angie's List for diagnostic testing. That ended up saving me a few bucks. Technician explained everything that was being done. Turned out that our flame sensor needed to be cleaned. Haven't had a problem since. Would call them again and consider them when I need a new furnace.

Eric from Pronto came out and went over the whole system. But with having a finished basement it was hard for him to fix the venting problem upstairs. But he gave us some great options and did a complete Furnace tune up. The pricing was GREAT thanks to Angie's list.

The service went well. In addition to the tune-up, I was given a quick 101 of the thermostat. The tech helped setup the scheduling for the thermostat. Easy to work with, and would use Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning again.

Sales representative was great to work with; very responsive - as was the office personnel. The install crew was professional and kept the work area clean. There were some issues with the gas line pressure tests, but those were quickly resolved and passed city inspection. The entire job, from first contact to firing-up the heater was less than a week; great turnaround/service in my opinion, especially given the unusually cold weather conditions. Price was a little more than I expected, but I need to remind myself that they installed a 60,000 BTU heater and with pretty good efficiency and timeliness. A fair exchange I believe. And I'd rather pay more for better service than a highly competitive bid (lower price) that risks only marginally-acceptable service and support.

Good service and really reasonable about price-matching a competitor. I would recommend them.

Met with salesman and discussed options. Everything was explained and WRITTEN. On the appointed day, crew showed up, removed old furnace and AC and installed a new furnace and AC. They walked through operating instructions, educated me on use of the application (BTW-that thing is fantastic -- was able to set furnace to vacation after arrival on west coast!) and cleaned up. Followed up a few days later to see if all was well. Price quoted was price paid. It was a pleasure doing business with such a professional outfit.

Our furnace died on a Sunday when the out door temperature was -13. At 7am on Monday, Scott arrived and went to work quickly. He identified right away that the control panel had a flaw engaging the blower fan. He rigged up the system to plug the blower fan into a wall outlet so we could have heat. The heat had bee out for about 18 hours and the house had fallen in temp to the mid 40's. Getting it started with an experience based quick fix was incredibly helpful. Scott even left his extension cord to keep the blower running. He suggested that I either replace the control board or look into replacing the the system since it was 17 years old. I spent the rest of the day meeting with Furnace sales folks. The one from Pronto, Max was by far the best. He was the most knowledgeable and spent the time explaining options and discovering what we really needed. I ended up replacing the control panel myself and the furnace runs ok. I will need to eventually replace it and will definitely use Pronto when the time comes. These guys were really great!!

Pronto was excellent. Our furnace went out late on a Sunday when the highs were in the late teens and the single digits overnight. By the next morning the house was already in the low 50's. I called Pronto Monday morning and by Monday afternoon they had a technician out to look at the furnace. The technician was extremely professional and diagnosed the problem fairly quickly. After determining our 55 (yes really 55) year old furnace was not worth repairing, the technician sent over Kurt, a salesman, to discuss our options. Kurt was fantastic. He came over after the technician, so by this time it was 7:30 pm. and helped me weigh our furnace options in a low-pressure way. But I told him I wasn't ready to make a decision right that second, my wife was traveling and was literally on a plane. I wanted to talk with her before I committed to thousands of dollars. Kurt said that was fine, and went back to the shop and helped us set up 5 space heaters in the house so we could stay while we made up our minds and until the furnace was installed. It saved our pipes from freezing, and kept us out of a hotel. We told Kurt on Tuesday what we wanted, and by Wednesday the install group came. Our furnace was old and required a lot of labor on the gas piping and electrical work to bring it up to code (all of which was included in the price) so it actually took them about 12 hours total over the course of two days, but everything was done well and the install group was awesome. We called Pronto because we had them install a new water heater over the summer and were very happy with the results. You might be able to get the work done a little cheaper somewhere else, but Pronto will take care of you, provide excellent service quickly, and they don't nickel and dime you with little add ons (for example, they had to install a minor electrical panel and light in the furnace room, which was unforeseen but included at no cost). Everyone I've ever dealt with from Pronto was fantastic. The salesmen are positive and knowledgable, but there is no pressure to buy or pay more on upgrades. Can't stress it enough - if you're reading this because your furnace just went out and you need to get it replaced: call Pronto.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a furnace tune-up. Called the company to schedule and was able to schedule something fairly quickly. The day of my appointment, the tech called on his way from his last appointment, saying, "I'm on my way to tune up your boiler." I replied that I had scheduled him for a *furnace* tune-up, and didn't have a boiler. He came anyway, but took one look and backed out, saying that he was really better-equipped to work with boilers than with furnaces. He called the company to explain what was happening, and told me to call and reschedule for another appointment. I called and they rescheduled me the next day. The tech who came out the second time was great - he did the job, didn't try to sell me on anything extra, and even spent quite a bit of extra time tweaking the gas flow on my (very old) furnace to make it work as well as it could. While frustrated at the initial mix-up, the tune-up was ultimately done well, and I appreciated that the company did their best to make the situation right as promptly as they could.

I have owned a townhouse that I rent to others. I decided to sell this property and get a furnace inspection for the new buyer. The service person from Pronto inspected the furnace and said the cells were cracked and a danger for leaking carbon monoxide. The cells would need to be replaced. He recommended a new furnace for $3400. We opted for repair. The parts were covered by warranty. The replacement of the cells was over $1400 for labor of four hours. I could not figure out why labor was so high, but they would not give me an explanation. So I called another company and they quoted $520 for the same four hours of labor. Pronto would have been more than double the cost. It gets worse. The other company came today to replace the cells and told us the cells were not cracked. So, it cost another $75 to find out that the repair was not needed. I am extremely disappointed by this event. I will not use Pronto again.

It was great. He had a nice selection of thermostats. He cleaned up when he finished.

I had an awesome experience with Pronto from my very first phone call on 12/11/13 to inquire about replacing my whole house humidifier to the actual work completed today. The price quoted was straightforward and very competitive. Matt was prompt and extremely thorough. He improved the positioning of the wires and drain hoses from the previous install. He was very courteous and polite. He cleaned up and removed the old parts - very impressed with his overall workmanship. I like the values of this company and will be signing up for their maintenance plan to service my furnace and central air unit. Thank you and job well done!

Prompt response and arrived same day to diagnose blower fan. Gave me a detailed estimate on repair/replacement cost, plus advice on what to do going forward without any pressure.

Pronto overall was great to work with. They were able to schedule same day service for a broken furnace on a zero degree day. The tech showed up about 30 minutes outside of the time window, but that is really my only small complaint. I'm sure they were very busy on such a cold day. Matt was able to diagnose our problem, however there was a part needed so he had to search that out the next day. Luckily he was able to find it and was here by noon the following day to do the repair. It wasn't cheap, but when you have to get your heat working on short notice, it seemed fair.

He called ahead and arrived on time. Installed the humidifier in less time than was told it would take. Briefly explained operation and gave me an owners manual.

Everything went as expected - on time, resolved a difficult problem

Picked them based on Angie's List review. They were NOT the cheapest, but close and I felt they really cared about doing the job well. They were punctual and finished the job completely. They explained fully what had been done, the warrantees and any thing I needed to do. Area was clean and the job was done to mine and my mothers satisfaction. VERY happy with the work.

I purchased a deal through Angie's List for an AC Tune-up on Friday 8/23/2013. If I remember correctly, I was contacted that day by someone from Pronto and an appointment scheduled for the following Monday 8/26/2013. The tech contacted me when he was on his way and was right on time. He was friendly and courteous and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use Pronto again for any of my heating or cooling needs.

I purchased a coupon for a repair, as I had a clogged hose that was causing a leak when the A/C was on. My furnace is older, so during the repair call, I also purchased a 2/yearly maintenance package. Both visits I have had the same service provider, Matt, who is very professional and takes the time to explain everything that is happening, as well as what repairs might be needed in the future by priority order. I have not felt pressured by him to purchase or repair anything, just that he is informing me. The office called to schedule my maintenance services right at the beginning of the season, and they are friendly and professional. Overall it's been a great experience working with Pronto!

The service technician came out first and quickly diagnosed our problem - the fan motor was broken. He discussed options with us and arranged for a sales department person to come out that day to go over numbers regarding repair or replacement. All the people we came in contact with were professional, knowledgable, and pleasant. Their pricing and products are very competitive. Their response was quick and the whole process was simple and stress free. We will be having our new system installed this week.

We needed air conditioning to be repaired at the height of an extended warm spell. Pronto was available and worked until we had air.
