Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

It was easy to schedule an appointment with them. We had one particular date that we wanted them to come, and they were able to make it. My mom was here during the tech's visit, and she said he was polite and on time.

We had used Pronto's services at another location and had the same type of results. These folks at Pronto solved the problem of malfunctioning by moving two humidifiers and controls to another location and adjusting water and air flow for proper use. Their knowledge and professionalism were terrific and saved us money in that we were so frustrated that we would have bought new humidifiers (the short term warranty was out on the new ones) but they felt the problem wasn't in the humidifiers but in their location, air and water flow and they were correct. Prices for furnaces, air conditioners, humidifiers etc. aren't all that different from manufacturer to manufacturer but this type of professionalism, promptness and competency IS HARD TO FIND. Sooo, do yourself a favor and get an appointment with Pronto for any type of situation that they service or any product that they sell. Al Richie

Very professional. The technician arrived 15 minutes EARLY! and quickly diagnosed the problem. In his opinion the furnace is shot (which it is) however we talked about temporary repairs to make it last one more year at which time we have a large renovation planned where we will replace the furnace and AC unit. The furnace is now working as it should and will hopefully last one more year. When we are ready to replace the unit I will most certainly contact Pronto. Thanks!

Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning did well, according to code. I had some concerns about smelling a little gas, but there was a required inspector that came after them who told me it was definitely okay. The inspector also tested their pipes for leaks, and that was fine. So Pronto did a good job. They left some splatter on the walls, in our washroom area. They also left a pipe behind. When they came in the house, they had a tarp down, but they got some water on the lower level and they didn't wipe it up as well as they should. They used the tarp to wipe it up, which they just smeared it. That wasn't a pleasurable sight to see. The price was overpriced. They didn't break down the charges, like for what the water heater was. We paid way more for the water heater than we should have. We overpaid.

Pronto showed up on time and preformed the work as agrees with no surprises. I had them install a new furnace and a/c a couple years ago and they will always be my first call for furnace and a/c maintenance.

Matt was prompt, efficient, professional, and very personable.

Our furnace was turning off and on and eventually stopped working one night this week. Pronto was great to work with. I called and left a message early in the morning and received a call back first thing, around 6:30 am! They said they would be at our house between 1 and 3 and were there promptly at 1. The repair man, Matt, was incredibly polite, wore booties to keep our house clean and was done within 45 minutes. The price was fair, our furnace is working again just in time for the weekend. It was a perfect experience.

They were very helpful. Work was done well. Sales and installer were very friendly and professional.

He was pleasant and determined to do a thorough job the whole time and the a/c worked without issue after that! I called Pronto again in the fall for a furnace tune up and was lucky to receive the same technician for that job.

They arrived as promised at 7:10 am. Four men finished the job by 5 the same day. Inspection has approved the installations.

It went great! Rob P. was on time and very professional. When I told him the furnace wasn't heating, just blowing cold air, he explained he might not be able to do a tune-up and a diagnostics test would be $119. I told him that was fine, to do whatever he needed to do. He said he'd try to fix it so the tune up could be performed. He discovered the issue was a dirty sensor, was able to clean it and do the tune up, instantly heating up our house! I couldn't have been more pleased. I was just charged for the tune-up, not for the diagnostics. Extremely happy and look forward to using you again for regular maintenance.

It was very cold that week and we were a low priority understandably. Very professional, great service people.

They were not the lowest bid but I was impressed with the salesman and the equipment they had to offer. Once I decided on what I wanted they were out for the installation in two weeks. I am very happy with the heat pump option that was not offered by the other companies I received bids from.

We called on a Saturday morning when we realized that our furnace wasn't working, and they scheduled us for that afternoon. When we got home from errands the furnace was running and we called and cancelled our appointment. An hour later when it wasn't working again we called and were thrilled to reschedule for the original time. The technician arrived promply, found the problem and fixed it, and gave us helpful information along the way. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, friendly, and professional. We can't say enough good things about them.

I called Proto mid-day when we found the water heater wasn't working. They were able to get out the same afternoon, diagnose the fault, and reset the heater for just the cost of the initial service call. They were prompt, communicated well and let me know how to avoid the issue in the future, check for the error and reset it myself if necessary.

My experience was kind of mixed. One issue I had with them was that the water heater went out and it was covered by insurance. I had a hard time getting Pronto to deal with my insurance company. It took several calls to do that. In the end they finally did it. The people that came out were fine. They came right away and did, it was just getting them to deal later, the payment issue was difficult. I just thought they were expensive and they weren't as responsive as they should be. I don't think I would use them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out pretty well. The service was provided to me within a week after I purchased it. He also explained to me how to use my air exchanger more efficiently. He was very courteous and explained different parts of my furnace and how to clean out the filters myself. This was my first time using this provider and I do not have any recommendations for them; they were very good. There have been no issues since the service. Their normal price is twice that of the Big Deal so if I used them again I would wait for a Big Deal.

When our AC unit failed to keep out home cool during the summer we scheduled a tune up. They came to our home on time and checked fluid levels, washed the AC unit with a hose, and referred me to check the warranty. Our technician had quality information to give us, but did not do much because our unit was out of fluid.

They came on the same day I called. Checked out the pilot light on the hot water heater. All it needed was to be lit. They wore uniforms that I thought looked very nice and professional. I was pleased and would use them again.

Everyone we worked with at Pronto was wonderfully professional and personable. We had high expectations of Pronto and they more than met our expectations.

Furnace tune-up & filter change (filter extra), went great.

Summer. Air conditioner running. Water pouring out of furnace from places it shouldn't. . Drain hoses clear. Called service person there in an hour. Female technician was outstanding. She took a through history of the problem, what I had done and in what sequence. Expertly diagnosed the issue. Fixed it. I would sure want to have that technician back in to find and fix any heating cooling problems. Diagnosed a plugged outlet for water produced by the air conditioner. in the furace

Per their usual, Pronto did a great job for us! Great deal, very responsive and outstanding service! We highly recommend Pronto and will continue to use them for our house in the future!
