Great, they diagnosed the problem and informed me that I would need an electrician to handle the high voltage wire that was the issue.

Pronto was fantastic. They were always prompt with communication, courteous in their interaction with my family and my house, did a quality job, and were able to provide a competitive price. They explained everything very thoroughly and were a breeze to work with. Everything seems to be performing properly. We couldn't be happier! (unless our A/C hadn't died in the first place)

I purchased Angie deal of $65.50 per tune up. I bought both Heating and A/C. Though there are many deals out there for such services, I decided to go with Pronto Heating and Air Conditioning. Besides having very good reviews by other members, I really like their website which shows the check list of what the technician will do for each tune up. Keith showed up as schedule and went through things thourougly with my husband. He found a low level of freon and suggested refill. Since we are happy with his service, we decided to sign up for membership as Keith mentioned the benefit (reasonable price, freon refill also included).

It was just fine. I had no problems. The only thing was that he was little delayed but other than that, it was fine. It's hard to tell if your furnace was cleaned or not but as far as I know, it was. With the deal, I thought it was very reasonable. It was nice that they could come so soon.

Made an appointment online over the holiday weekend - that didnt seem to work as when I called them Tuesday morning there was no record. Set an appointment and had a tech scheduled for the following morning at 7am. Scott was on time and ready to go. Diagnosed and replaced a broken component and I am good to go. Good experience, will give them a call again for any similar issue in the future.

The technician was very helpful in explaining the cause of the problem (high pressure switch turned off to protect the condensor). The grills had become dirty, and after cleaning it was functioning perfectly. He gave useful tips on both maintenance of the unit and the age for a possible replacement, as it's close to 20 years old now.

Our furnace went out over the weekend and Pronto for the check and install. We went ahead and purchased an air conditioner as well because we were due to anyway and they had a bundle price/rebates. The price was a little more than other comparables but the next day install was appreciated. The crew that installed was great, very imformative and kept their work area(s) clean. We received a small credit for an existing warranty on a furnace part, which was appreciated, but I did have to follow up on this. I really liked how they stayed on top of all the inspections and rebates.

Was hired to do an AC check up due to it not working. The new part cost $160, I think it was a bit much since it was a small part but everything is working now. Scott was informative, helpful and very nice. He answered all my questions if I should by a bigger AC unit and didn't up-sell me, told me the truth. He said it would make that much of a difference in cooling, gave me a couple of helpful hints to keep my house cooler in the summer. Scott was great!

We are pleased with the product and overall with their performance, but there were some issues with fixing holes left by install that required several calls to have fixed. There were also some issues with communication and coordinating work with subcontractor for some of the duct work.

I was very satisfied with them. They did a very good job. Keith was very helpful, honest, very friendly, very respectful and in general a very nice person.

I was having problems with my water heater because the pilot light kept going out. I had had it looked at previously but it was still happening and I wanted a second opinion. He checked everything over and could not find anything wrong, however, it has not gone out since he was here so he must have done something right to make it now behave. I appreciated his thoroughly going over everything to see if he could locate the problem.

The provider did not work in our area.

The sales rep I dealt with had very poor follow through on communication given to me. Everyone at Pronto aside from said sales rep was extremely punctual and professional. Job was prepaid. Appointment was made for initial assessment. I called the morning of the scheduled assessment to confirm that this would still be happening. The window that it was scheduled for was between 9am-12pm. When I called and spoke with the sales rep at 10:45 he didn't know what I was talking about. I then reminded him of the credit card that he had run four days prior for the amount of X dollars and the name on the card. That then rang a bell with him and he replied does between 1-3pm work for you? I said that would be fine. He showed up no sooner than 5minutes to 3pm and preformed the assessment. Stated that he would send me a quote for a water heater replacement as mine was old and they could perform the job all at once. He also stated that it "sounds like it is really working hard" my reply was yes it constantly runs and I am sleeping in my clothes. He informed me that they like to save the weekends for customers who do not have heat. A furnace that sounds like it is really struggling and really struggling constantly and the occupants sleeping fully clothes apparently didn't constitute as a customer with out heat to him at that time. I receive a voice mail from sales rep stating that they could perform the installation on Friday, I send a voice mail to sales rep confirming that Friday would be fine and asked him to confirm that they would be performing the service then. Friday morning at 10 after 7am I get the confirmation knock at the door and have not seen and estimate for the water heater. I let the install occur. Install techs were great. Few days later I call and ask if a permit had been pulled with the city. Sales rep said yes we will call you in about a week to schedule your inspections. I receive a call asking me for credit card info for the job they had just performed. I informed the gal that they already had information on file as this job had been prepaid. Call number 2, the gal would like to schedule an appointment for the AC tune up. I finally called another gentleman who had sent a survey to rate their performance. I mentioned to him the lack in communication, the gift card that I had not received as part of the promotion that they were running through March and wanted my inspection to be performed and to be done with this job. The man restated all my frustrations to make sure that he was clear as to why I was expressing discontent with the experience. The following morning I received the call to have the AC tune up and inspections scheduled. The job was very easy as the basement was completely empty and there wasn't any asbestos that had to be removed or worked around. The duration of this service should be complete after week three.

Great - really nice, professional service. Repaired/replaced damaged part and provided advice on how to better maintain the A/C unit.

My experience went ok. The other company we have used seemed to do a more thorough job and I was not too impressed with the cleaning they did but I have been pleased with their services in the past.

Hired Pronto heating for an AC inspection through a big deal. Arrived on time, went through and explained every step in the inspection, seemed very knowledgeable. Later in the summer, an electrical component failed in the central air and called them back for repair. They give a discount on the repair if you sign up for their service plan. They didn't have the part on hand, but managed to do a patch repair to have it running until they got the part. Came back the next morning and replace the failing part. Overall seem like great service.

It went very well. They were prompt, courteous and well-priced. Their final cost was the exact same price of the original.

The Tune up on hydronic heating system went swell!

Failed to correct problem that initiated hiring them. They only wanted to sell new furnace and AC.

About a month and a half ago, I took advantage of a furnace tune-up special Pronto had going. They came out, tuned up the furnace, showed me how to work the humidifier, and replaced the water panel. I checked the humidity in the house every day afterwards and noticed it wasn't changing at all. After about a week, it was pretty clear the humidifier wasn't doing anything. About a week after that, a light started flashing saying it was time to replace the water panel again, so I knew something was up. I called Pronto again to have them come out to figure out what was going on. It turns out the humidifier had a bad solenoid valve (which I guess you can diagnose right away when you turn the humidifier on. If it's working correctly, it makes a sound that you can hear when it kicks on). The technician diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it in a short amount of time. I could clearly hear that the humidifier was working once he got it going. When I asked why the previous Pronto technician hadn't noticed right away that the humidifier wasn't kicking on he didn't know what to say. He was very polite, though, and offered me a small discount, which I appreciated. After thinking about it a bit more, I was still feeling a little disappointed that I had had to take two half days off of work to be at home for Pronto when everything could have very clearly been taken care of in one visit (i.e., I was not pleased I had had to pay TWO service call fees instead of one. All together, the two service fees plus the cost of fixing the bad valve was about $300, which seemed a bit steep for the services I received). So, I called Pronto to give them a chance to make it right, and they did. They heard me out and understood my issue was mainly one of inconvenience, not with the quality of the work. They offered to reimburse me for the cost of the service call for the second visit, which I greatly appreciated. I appreciate companies who do good work, are prompt and courteous, and do what they need to make things right. Pronto is definitely one of these companies.

Originally, I bought a coupon for inspection/tune-up of central A/C. The unit was very old when I bought my house 4 years ago. At the end of the previous season, I knew it wasn't sounding too great. When the provider inspected the unit, it became obvious that I would need to replace the old A/C -- not a surprise. The motor was shot and even if they could get a replacement for the very old unit, the provider could not guarantee the installation due to the age of the unit. My furnace was even older, 27 years, and I knew I'd have to replace it soon. The provider offered me a pretty good deal to replace both A/C and furnace at the same time (thereby saving another installation fee later to do the furnace separately), and maybe due to the season (summer) I got a pretty good deal on the furnace. Additionally, I needed them to find/reinstall the duct work to the bathroom heat register. Previous owners (who must've been crazy) had dry walled over old register opening and disconnected duct, so for 3 years I've had no heat in my bathroom. Also, Pronto added another head register/duct work in the basement family room (which only had one so inadequate heating) and a return air vent in the basement (there was none). I paid over half down, and the remainder is being paid over 24 months interest-free financing through the provider via GE Capital, which works out great for me. My only complaint is that a worker cut an opening into the basement original pine walls (not paneling, but real pine boards) that was not accurate for the duct/register. So the wood was damaged. They put me in contact with a handy man who contracts with Pronto to fix the problem. The contractor has been here twice to take measurements and come up with a solution (since finding salvaged old pine that matches will probably be impossible). He came up with a great solution, but it is now 9 months later, and he has still not finished the job. I'm sure he's busy, and it's not an emergency, but I would like to tick it off my to-do list. Overall, great experience. They cleaned up everything pretty well except the basement family. There was a layer of dust over everything, including an expensive keyboard and furniture, which they failed to cover. They DID cover the stairs and floor areas, and were very careful, so I guess some dust is to be expected. Had I known how much, I would've covered and/or moved all items in the area of the new basement heat register.

The provider came right on time. He was very professional and cleaned up well after himself.

Top notch! I called them because of the Big Deal furnace tune-up and their ratings on Angie's List. The appt was scheduled for a 2 hour window and they gave me a heads up call since I work 30 minutes away from the rental property. I also had a rep come out to check my duct work to see if any further repairs were needed since i am selling the duplex. Both the rep and technician were able to meet me around the same time , saving me an extra trip. Kevin looked at my ducts and determined no further work was needed. Keith the tech was very informative and as part of the tune-up he ran an Orsat test on both units. My buyer will be happy to see those #'s. VERY pleased with their service.

We started our evaluation process a year ahead of actually doing our installation and Pronto was very professional throughout our entire working relationship. Pronto met or exceeded expectations on every level. They provide a high level of detailed information and were very professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire sales and installation process. The worked meticulously and there were areas were left immaculately clean after completion of their work. They also did detailed paint and texturing on a wall where they had removed a vent pipe - it is literally matched perfectly. Nick was our initial point of contact and was a pleasure to work with during this process.
