Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

I received a call before the tech came to my home. When the tech got to my house he was very nice and informative. Talked to me about what he saw and the results of the tests he did. Cleaned up after himself. Would definitely use this company again for future furnace and/or air conditioning work.

II was extremely happy with Pronto in all areas of customer service. They were very quick and flexible with calling to schedule, with working with my schedule, and very polite on the the phone. They called to indicate a more narrow time frame the same day of service, as well as called within 15 min of arriving, which is very helpful. The technician was very friendly, prompt did a great job in a reasonable amount of time. He also reviewed what he did. I felt the service was great, and the price was excellent. I have used with some other larger companies, which were OK, but very happy with pronto and would use them again.

Lucy arrived at my place within the 2 hours window and was very thorough with the furnace tune-up. She answered all of my questions that I had concerning the tune-up process, as well as, all the questions that I had concerning my furnace. After the appointment, she gave me a thorough explanation of her findings and when I should consider changing my air filter. Lastly, she checked my water heater to make sure that the unit was still working and informed me that I may need to replace that soon. She recommended Pronto and informed me of some of the promotions that they had available, if I so choose to work with them again. She was really professional, super nice, and a pleasure to work with. I will most definitely request for Lucy again in the future and will call Pronto again in the Spring for my A/C tune-up.

Pronto removed an old gravity heating system and replaced it with a Bryant high efficiency heating and cooling system. They handled the complete job from start to finish, on time, and as promised. Removing the old heating system required asbestos removal by a certified subcontractor. Pronto arranged this for me where many other heating and cooling system contractors required the customer to make their own arrangements for the asbestos abatement. The entire job took 5 days, two days for the asbestos abatement and 3 days to install a whole new system with all new duct work. All the workers were courteous, knowledgeable and took great care in keeping everything clean. Compared to other contractors that I had bid on the job, the price Pronto quoted was neither the lowest nor the highest. The quality and service was excellent. If I were to do this over again, I would not hesitate to use Pronto.

Furnace tune-up went well. Recommended to get a bid for new furnace, but the salesperson was a no show, otherwise service was fine and one time. Gave me a $25 mail-in rebate to fill in. Nice.

Very easy from beginning to end. Salesman (Jack) was very professional and thorough. He put together a system that was right for our house, not the most expensive. My questions were answered even before I could ask them. Installation crew were professional and efficient. Tech (Robbie) came back to calibrate the thermostat in a timely manner. System works great.

A salesman (not owner) came and provided extensive information on products and service available. He took a great amount of time to educate us on the various products, answer our questions, and explain the benefit of hiring Pronto to do the job. He was extremely professional. However, the system he tried to sell us would not have been the most appropriate for our situation and perhaps why Pronto ended up with a very high bid compared to all other bids we gathered.

The office called and asked if it was alright for the service person to come early. They arrived approx 1/2 hour early and performed everything I asked them to do regarding a pre-season furnace check. Very professional, very customer oriented, couldn't ask for anything more.

The technician arrived in the scheduled time window and completed the requested tune-up. He was polite and courteous. Our carbon monoxide detectors had gone off a few weeks ago and the fire department said it may be a problem with our furnace. The tech tested our furnace and detected no problems. He was helpful in giving me things to look for in the future.

The technician from Pronto arrived promptly and was professional throughout the duration. Our furnace hasn't worked this well in a while. Great to have the peace of mind that it should be functioning properly heading into the winter months. Will definitely use again.

I have been a Pronto customer for years, both for my house and my mother's house. Bought my furnace from them and now a new air conditioner. Mom and I also have annual service contracts for both furnace and A/C. They have been great to deal with -- fairly priced, responsive, very professional and and they are courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they retain good people -- it's a good sign when you get to know the technicians who show up for service calls year after year, it means the company is well run and treats its people right. The thing that motivates me to write a review is how far above and beyond this company goes to treat its customers well -- fairly, but much more than than fairly -- well. I had received an estimate for the air conditioner that included a specific amount as a rebate from the electric company. I accepted the estimate and the A/C was installed (of course quick, easy to schedule and deal with, courteous and tidy). When all was said and done, the rebate I received from the utility was lower than Pronto had estimated -- due to variations in the way the outside A/C and my house's internal system worked together, the system came in slightly lower on certain ratings than was expected. I called and spoke with the owner, prepared to be grouchy and persuasive. I didn't have to! I explained the problem as I saw it and Greg offered to fix it by sending me a check for the difference between the rebate Pronto had estimated and the actual rebate. It was so respectful -- no persuasion or complaining was required. This is a company that truly values its customers. Pronto has my business as long as they want it!

Sam came out and cleaned and tuned up the furnace. Very professional and sent you an Email with the results of items they found. They were on time, thorough and very professional. I have used them in the past when they replaced my air conditioner and again they proved to be the company I have used in the past and will continue to use in the future.

Was easy to get service scheduled and to fit into my schedule. Team member was friendly, professional and timely with appointment. She got my furnace all cleaned up for the winter months and gave me an update on how it is operating. Made sure I didn't have any more questions before she left.

Got a call prior to Matt's arrival to let me know he would be there in 15-20 minutes. Matt arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. Answered all my questions regarding the furnace and water heater and offered to answer any other questions I might have knowing that we had recently moved into the home.

We asked Pronto to give us an estimate on replacing a very old in-unit heater with a full furnace. In addition, we had a water heater that was leaking and decided to replace both water heaters (this is a rental duplex). One snag we initially ran into is that they only sent someone who specialized in water heaters at first. They had to send someone the next day (and we had to drive to the rental unit to meet them again) who could give us an estimate for both. When they came to install the furnace and water heaters they were professional and very clean. Took two days to get all the duct work installed, a new furnace into our attic, and two water heaters installed with outside vents in our basement. The finished product looked great.... until the inspection process. Both the water heaters and the furnace failed their inspections. The furnace failed due to insulation grade lower than required around the ducts. The water heaters failed for numerous reasons - no caps on the outside vents, incorrect couplings on the water heater, and failure to fill in the holes to the chimney where the previous water heaters had vented. The process to get the original inspection, fix the findings, and then get the work re-inspected took THREE MONTHS. The whole time my husband and I were the ones contacting Pronto to check if the inspections had been scheduled, re-check that the work was done, and press to get the re-inspections scheduled. I would have expected that Pronto would lead the process on inspections. Overall the work looked great but the issues with installation and process to get everything inspected was not worth the hassle.

It went very well. We received a phone call ahead to alert us that Lucy was on her way. She was very professional, put on shoe covers, and got right to work after asking if there were any furnace concerns. No issues came up with tune up and she was done in about 40 minutes. Have used them once before this year for a tune up on my elderly mother's furnace and was impressed with both technicians. Would definitely use them again.

The furnace inspection and cleaning went well. We were having problems with the furnace not starting every time it tried to run. Fortunately this was due to my own fault in not replacing the dirty filter in time. The technician explained the reason for the problems we were having, and did not charge extra for the diagnostic time spent, since it was so simple. Now, I change the filter more frequently, and we don't have any problems. I will definitely be calling them back again.

During my shopping phase Pronto did a good job in presenting and explaining all the options for replacing our heating system. For installation Pronto was able to complete all work in a single day. The workers were courteous, professional & worked efficiently. With the dual heating zones and connection between the boiler & indirect-fired water heater, the installation was a significant plumbing project. Nevertheless everything was installed, and instructions on operation of the thermostats via the internet was provided. The Android phone app works well for monitoring & controlling both thermostats . The system has worked well over the past year, and Pronto was responsive to my concerns. There was an issue concerning the routing of the gas line to the boiler. During a recent followup visit Trevor corrected to routing to my satisfaction.

Went very well. Found some issues and fixed them and recommended that I do a tuneup every year with the age of my furnace being 21 years.

The technician was wonderful and very knowledgable. She is the first person to ever help me out with the venting for the winter and advised what to do with the dampers (?) so the lower lever wasn't so hot. She also helped set my wall thermostat. Very efficient and personable.

Everything turned out very well. Pronto was quick, efficient, and responsive. In fact, they were able to come out earlier than scheduled which was great, and they called ahead to let me know which I appreciated. Ultimately, they did an excellent job, and I'd definitely recommend them.

The person that came out was very helpful but it ended up that they couldn't do anything for us so we needed to invest in a new heating and air conditioning system. That extended us to further research and quotes and we ended up going with somebody different. The one thing that was very impressive was that they were here right away. I called them and they were able to come out very close to the time that I called, and they had enough service people to do that. He did it upfront on the phone call when I thought it might just mean that we needed to have things cleaned out. They are very good about talking reasonably that it could lead to other things. I think they had a deal on Angie's List to do a blow out and cleaning of the air conditioner for like $65 and they were still willing to come out for that and take a peek, but it needed to be my understanding and I got that thoroughly that this could be more than that, and I understood that. They just charged me $65 for the service call to my house, but it was a bigger deal than cleaning the air conditioner. They were very upfront and honest and they were very prompt to get service people out right away so that was impressive. The person that came out was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time talking to us. He was probably here for over an hour just doing that and talking to us, and helping us understand how it all worked so they were very good that way.

Pronto was very responsive and my service was scheduled within a few days of purchasing a discounted furnace tune up. I received a call the morning of my appointment to make sure I was home and to inform me that the technician was on his way. He showed up at the beginning of my time block, was friendly and informative, and I was very pleased with everything other than the news he had to give me. The secondary heat exchanger on my furnace needs to be replaced due to negligence from the previous owner that was foreclosed on but thankfully I have a home warranty. The Pronto technician was helpful in explaining the problems and understanding about my options going forward. Glad they addressed everything for me and I will definitely use them again in the future.
