I have been without an AC for the last 6 summers. Around the time that it went out, I believe Pronto was just starting up. We called for a quote and were very pleased with the customer service, bid and everything. It took until today, to have you out to actually do the job, but I am so happy!!! This company did a fantastic job. They were very helpful, kind, professional and brought space heaters for me, so it was not as cold when they had to turn the heat off. After the rebates I ended up paying $3700.00. Also they noticed that the ducts that were attached to the furnace were not up to code and they replaced them as well at no other costs to me. I was very impressed with how quick and responsive they were.

I called Pronto and was able to get appointment scheduled within 24 hours. During the appointment window, someone from the office called to let me know that the tech person is on the way. Upon arrival the technician greeted me professionally and showed his ID. He started by explaining the process and how the pricing works. He ran diagnostics to troubleshoot the problem with the boiler. Turned out the problem was with the sensor. The technician was able to clean it. As a result he saved us by not having to buy a new one.

We are completely satisfied with the service provided. The crew consisting of John, Chase, Darren and Marty arrived on time, and replaced our furnace and air conditioner. They were very professional and had the whole installation done ahead of schedule. They left the area cleaner than when they arrive and were very pleasant to work with. We have used Pronto before and will continue to use them to service our systems and will highly recommend them.

The sales call, estimate and the install were all well done. Mechanical work was very neat and professional, they used plastic to protect my carpets and the service people were knowledgeable and very cordial. The new furnace looks great and it works great. I gave a C on responsiveness because they didn't have the proper staff available during my installation. They came at 7 in the morning and I'd estimate they waited for an electrician for an hour or two before they left at noon. I had to leave at 2:30, so the electrician called and agreed to come a few days later. Not a huge deal, but also not an A for responsiveness. I gave a C on professionalism because the lender Pronto chose for the 0% financing deal was terrible. The first contract I saw was written in gibberish (no, I'm not just talking about normal legalese, this contract was true gibberish, uninterpretable by anyone). I complained and they fixed it, but when it came back to me it still had all the old dates in it, so, for example, my 3 day waiting period had already expired according to the paperwork. I'd give that lender an F grade. The people at Pronto would get an A, so I compromised on a C grade overall. I think the price was on the high side of fair, so I gave it a B. Pronto does provide top grade service, so paying a little more is worth it, but if you're looking for low cost you should probably do some more checking.

We had Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning out to inspect a Bryant furnace prior to a real estate purchase. Although the furnace was relatively new, I had learned of a potential defect in this particular model. We asked Pronto to come out Pronto! . . . as we only had a limited window of time to complete any and all inspections. They initially said the serviceman we requested was busy, but then re-arranged some other appointments to accommodate our request. The inspection proved that the part was functioning properly, however another failing part was discovered. This let to further negotiations and a possible covered warranty item! We are thankful that Pronto was helpful to us in the inspection stage of buying a home!

when technician showed up he measured and realized the previous tech either didn't measure or measured incorrectly for the size. he made a call found the correct one drove to get it and return promptly back and finished.

The install of the furnace, AC and water heater were done very efficiently, and professionally. Jim and John did a great job on the install. It looks very high quality, and have no doubt they did a great job. I asked if they could possibly move the water heater back to create a little room, and not only did the move it back, they created a ton of new space in our utility room so that there is actually room to do laundry. Although I think the overall price was fair, the incentives and financing available through Pronto were very attractive. I had one misunderstanding about the offer, but the owners Greg and Wade took care of it very promptly and professionally. I can tell they really do care about their customers.

Pronto replaced an existing 100,000 BTU furnace and 3 ton air conditioner with a new (units at least 15-20 years old) 60,000 BTU furnace (97% efficiency) and 2 ton air conditioner (16 seer) and evolution connex t-stat. Salesman came over on a SATURDAY morning since we didn't have a time that would work during the weekdays and looked over the old system and asked us questions about our house and personal preferences and then suggested a few options that could be done with a new system.We decided we liked the company's reviews on this site and thought the price was fair, so decided to schedule an installation with the salesman. We had the choice to pick any day we wanted so I picked the next Friday. Installation started sharp at 7AM with the removal of our old system, and very shortly after that the new equipment was being delivered and the old taken out. I thought the installation team of Haso and Jon did excellent work throughout the whole day, and they were very respectful and answered all the questions I could throw at them. I also thought the on-site custom sheet metal fabrication from the old return air and heat supply tees to the furnace was excellent work. It looks very professional. The PVC exhaust and combustion intake lines also looks very neat. The whole installation looked to be very professional, not just quickly put together. In all, install was all done in less than 8.5 hours. As far as the operation of the new equipment, it was night and day difference. Our old system was very loud and obnoxious, whenever it ran, and the fan only ran on auto because it was so loud. Now it is quiet and peaceful all the time in the house, plus it feels more comfortable because the fan is on the whole time, but yet you can't even tell. Our only regret was not getting a high efficient system with a modulating valve and ECM motor sooner.

Very clean and professional. A water line blew out in the bathroom during turning water off and on to the house and they took care of that as well.

Premium service in every respect. My old water heater had sprung a slow leak, which I discovered on a Sunday. Selected Pronto from Angie's List, and put in a request for service. Pronto replied within minutes.They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day, Monday, and work within the times I was available. Matt arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and walked me through the options, We agreed on the right model for my house, and Matt was able to have it delivered in less than an hour. Installation took about 2 hours. Great care was taken in putting down protective covering on my carpets, and cleaning up after the installation. Matt, the scheduler, and the delivery guy (sorry, I forgot your name) were all very professional and friendly. I never felt any hard sales pressure. Everything was done as quoted, with no surprises or additional fees for inconsequential items. I maybe could have saved a few bucks going through a big box retailer, but Pronto's reputation, standing behind their products and service, hassle free installation, attention to detail, above and beyond care for my house, all makes it easy to recommend them to my friends and family.

The services were performed and the technician did a good job of explaining what minor adjustments he made to the furnace and water heater and why he made them. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They came on a Saturday which worked great for my schedule. They called before they came. He worked quietly and explained what he was doing when I asked. When he was done, he reviewed what he found and what he had adjusted. He gave me tip or two to extend the life of my furnace and then he was on his way!

My home is a mid-entry design built in the mid-1970s. Ever since I bought the home about ten years ago, the lower level, which is partially subterranean but fully finished, has been very cold in the winter. Like most homes of its design, the heating requirements for the upper (main) level and lower (or basement) level are quite different. In the winter, the lower level has typically been eight degrees colder than the main level, where the thermostat is located. Prior to contacting Pronto for a bid, I had investigated the feasibility of modifying the heating system to a zoned system, but the design of the duct work made it highly impractical and prohibitively expensive. My previous furnace was a simple, single-stage Carrier model, having a single-speed, AC blower motor. The blower was so loud and energy inefficient to operate that I chose not to run it in a continuous mode to reduced the considerable temperature differential between the two floors. Even when I did test the effect of continuous operation for a few days, the temperature difference was still considerable, which I believed was due to inadequate cold-air return duct work in the lower level. I requested proposals from four HVAC contractors for a new furnace and modified duct work to mitigate the problems I described above. I selected Pronto in large part due to the Pronto representative?s thorough proposal. Jeff was the only one to do complete calculations for sizing the furnace and AC units; two of the contractors did no calculations at all. Jeff engaged me to explain whyhe believed his design would be a substantial improvement, and he was candid about the design aspects that were uncertain. The major aspects of the new system were installation of a modulating Bryant furnace and two new cold-air return ducts in the lower level of the house. Two existing cold-air return ducts were also modified to make them more effective and less noisy. I am a chemical engineer by profession, with an extensive background in fluid flow and heat transfer, but I know relatively little about residential heating system design. I wanted a contractor who would listen to my observations and concerns and bring their expert knowledge of furnace and duct work design to bear on the problem in a way that reassured me the new system would work well. Jeff did by far the best job of doing that, and it became clear to me that Jeff had the best understanding of HVAC design and operation of the salespeople with whom I consulted. My wife and I have now lived with the new heating system for most of one winter. The temperature difference between the two floors of our home is now about half of what it was previously, i.e., typically about three to four degrees instead of eight or nine degrees. We operate the blower on medium speed continuously, and the energy consumption has been reasonable. The two new cold-air return ducts and the modification of the existing two ducts has improved air flow and greatly reduced blower noise in the lower level of our home. The combined effect is a much more useable lower living level in the winter months. The installers, Haso and Joe, were very good to work with overall. They answered my questions and were willing to work through a few minor issues that arose during the day.

Excellent service, from the first call to the final handshake. The dispatcher got a tech to my house as soon as possible. The tech arrived within the first 15 minutes of the time window. He discovered a serious problem with an expensive repair. He was patient, thoughtful and committed to positive outcome. When I decided that the costly repair wasn't worth it and made the decision to buy a new furnace, the tech was very helpful going over the different options the salesman would offer. This was a huge help. The salesman was prompt, friendly, and very understanding of the stress of having to make a major purchase under pressure. The purchase was easy, and they made it affordable. The installers were on time (ahead of time, actually) and very professional. I had a new furnace installed within 24 hours of my first call. And they cleaned the furnace room! Exceptional!

In September Pronto replaced both the evaporative coil located in the attic and the condenser on the side of the house. We received three different bids. Although Pronto was not the lowest price I feel we received the most value for the cost. Pronto was able to schedule us in a reasonable amount of time, they were on time, the installers were courteous and professional. The site was cleaned up well upon completion. We have not had them back for any related issues as everything is running well. We did have them back for an unrelated issue, water dripping through a vent, they were out promptly and isolated the issue which was a roof leak onto the attic ductwork. In November 2015 we had the boiler replaced by Pronto. Again they were not the lowest bid but they were within a close enough range to the other bids and we feel we received the best value for the cost. The boiler was installed punctually, and professionally. The site was well cleaned up upon completion. With both the A/C and boiler the old equipment was hauled away by Pronto. It was not an easy task to remove the old A/C coil from the attic, but they did it without any issues or damage. We did have them back out to resolve an issue with air in the radiator lines that we could not bleed out and they sent someone right away. Prior to installation two radiators had stripped bleed valves and the air in the line was causing popping sounds when running. This was not an issue for three months after installation. With new bleeder valves installed this was corrected. We have been very happy with both installations by Pronto. The A/C install totaled $7,934. The boiler install totaled $6,385. We had received reference to Pronto from friends who used them to install a boiler as well and were happy with the service.
