Perfectly. I can't imagine a better service call.

We recently got a new high efficiency furnace/ac unit (our AC was 20 years old, and the furnace was even older). We got multiple bids for the project, but decided to go with Pronto. Their salesman was informative without being too pushy or demanding, which I always appreciate. When we'd had AC problems earlier in the summer they were prompt and courteous, so we'd already had a good experience with them. They explained the choices they had in great detail to me, going over the pros and cons of each, what was right for my house, and what was right for the sort of value I wanted to get out of it. Price: Since this was the main negative review on here, I wanted to address it. Pronto was not the cheapest. However, they were pretty comparable to the other well-reviewed HVAC companies we looked at. I also want to note that Pronto has some great financing options and guarantees, such as the ability to get an exchange or refund within the first 2 years and a $500 a day guarantee that they'll get out there the same day if something goes wrong with it. The financing was what really sold it for me. They've currently got a 60 month, 0% financing. With the other options, including the cheaper ones, we would have had to go with financing options that were a similar length, but accrued interest. Ultimately, considering interest, we'd end up paying the same even with a less expensive company because of APR. Because of that, we decided we'd rather go with Pronto because we already had a high level of trust in them, and if the end price would be similar then there was no reason not to. The actual installers actually came the day after I said I'd go with Pronto—even though both my AC and heater were fully functional and there was no need for them to have to go quickly. Their technicians, much like before, were very courteous and thoughtful. They walked through the area with me before they took out anything and explained what they planned to do. Then for most of the day (installation was 7am-2pm) they just did their thing. When they were done they cleaned up very well and then showed us what we needed to know about our new system. The only part they missed as far as cleaning was an area on the outside of the house where they had to drill through in order to put in a new pipe; they left debris on my landscaping rocks, but that's pretty minor. In the last week or so since installation our house has been more comfortable and the unit is much quieter than our old one, so very pleased thus far!

Service and quality were great. With my AC being out in the summer they were quick to get in and replace it and worked around my schedule. They left my house cleaner than when they got there and probably vacuumed up more dog hair than the mess that they made working. All of the installers were very professional and did a great job. Pricing was a little higher than competition but you get what you pay for.

The technician, Chris, was very professional and friendly. He was there for a very short time - discovered the faulty capacitor immediately and replaced it quickly. Overall the customer service was excellent and service was timely, however the cost seemed excessive to me. A capacitor is a cheap part, and I paid $375 for this visit, even with a $50 off coupon. As I researched how much this should have cost me after I agreed to the service, I was really frustrated with the cost.

Good, we discussed options on AC, humidifier and furnace health while he was performing the furnace work and he gave me some pointers on energy savings throughout the year. I would definitely call them again.

Everything went really well from the first contact and quote, to the installation and clean up. The installers were very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We found that we were able to get a better, higher rated unit for not much more with the August incentives they offered along with the rebates from the utility companies. Their recommended product was of a much higher rating then the other two bids we received. We have received follow up calls and an email requesting our input on how the installation went! I would recommend this company over others I got bids from, especially since the other companies bid out their LOWER rated products, even when asked for something better. Kind of explains why our last Central Air unit, installed by a different company, only lasted 8 years and had numerous problems from the get go..

The initial service request information provided to the contractor included my comment that the circuit breakers on our electrical panel had tripped when trying to turn on the a/c at the time of our initial contact via the phone, & that I suspected that something could've been wrong with the a/c itself. Upon inspecting the a/c unit, I was told that there was nothing wrong with the unit positioned outside the home, & that it was probably a faulty circuit breaker. I was then told two things: (1) He could not replace the circuit breaker because he was not a licensed electrician &, as such could not replace the faulty circuit breaker & (2) His company would only charge me $149, not the $199 advertised price. I paid the company, what he asked for, but received nothing in return, absolutely nothing !!! That doesn't seem right. I can understand being charged a "trip charge", but to receive nothing in exchange for $149 seems ludicrously insane !! Terry Miller 952-881-2288

Terrific. They did what they said they would, the way I needed it done. They stayed until everything was working. I'm very satisfied.

The technician was on time, respectful, knowledgable and helpful. Everything was fully explained and he wore protective shoe covers in my home.

The visit went just great. Chris was super work with, polite, pleasant and easy to visit with. He went over everything he did and gave me information on my furnace. Went well and will call Pronto again.

Adam and John did an outstanding job! They showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. John took the time to explain all the details and made sure we knew how to operate our programmable thermostat.

Pronto came in $500 cheaper than Standard Heating and Air's estimate. Pronto only took 1 repair man 3hrs , vs Standard's estimate of 2 men 4 hours each. (Standard's repair man would not break down the estimate, just told me it was a standard rate and bid. Their main office game me the same story) Travis the Pronto plumber was very prompt, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, confident efficient and informative... he came in, told me what he would be doing, did the work, with no interruptions to me (I work from home), and was promptly done and out of my house in 3 hours like they estimated. Boiler works great!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Pronto to any homeowner!!

I called on Monday morning for a quote. I was sqeezed in that day and given a quote which was very reasonable. I called them later that day to let them know that I'd like them to go ahead. I was give an installment date of Wednesday morning at 11am. I was called by Pronto Wednesday morning around 10am saying that they were running a bit late and gave me a new time of 2 hours later which was ok by me. They arrived and placed floor coverings over the floor to protect it and keep it clean. They were very courteous and did a great job with the removal and new install. They had to organize an Electrician to attend the next day to complete the electrical finish. Unfortunately the Electrician scheduled to be there called in sick. I called and spoke to the Manager and he told me he'd get it sorted immediately. I had an Electrician there within an hour. Everything was done in a professional manner and I will not hesitate to use them again. They put out excellent work and do everything they say in a very timely measure. And every phone call was taken and sorted out by someone in a courteous manner. Extremely happy with the service.

Fast service and very punctual. Rep was very professional and considerate. Pricing was up front and no repair was performed until the problem was explained and consent given. Appreciated how quickly my A/C was repaired and began cooling down my house.

Pronto was absolutely wonderful. Was a long time customer of Sedwick - 2 generations of my family used them starting with the grandfather Tom. Called them first and was very disappointed - in fact down right angry. Sedgwick service tech sold us un-needed parts, claimed delays of week(s) or more for Carrier parts and wanted an upcharge for overnight parts delivery even though it would take at least 7 days to locate the parts. All this at during the hottest 4 days of the year. The Sedgwick tech claimed a replacement AC and furnace was a better and faster route to go. Could even have one installed the next day. The moment he left, I called Grainger and had a brand new replacement motherboard by 1000 hrs the next morning - without an upcharge for overnight express delivery!. Cancelled the prepayment for parts from Sedwick and cancelled their return service call. Called Pronto. They were here the same day and fixed the AC within minutes of their arrival. And the best part - its owned by the Sedgwick family. Apparently Lenox bought their original company a few years back. Owing to their professionalism, technical proficiency - and above all honesty - I have contracted with them for all my HVAC needs.

Showed up on time and finished early on a really hot day. They left my house cleaner than they found it.

Service man went beyond checking and replacing fuses. He checked out the system completely. It was so nice having the air back just as the heat bubble hit us. Since Pronto installed our new HVAC system they have been wonderful to deal with and all their staff I have had contact with have been nothing but professional and friendly

He was very thorough and polite with his explanation. We then gave him approval for fix the system. His diagnostic and repair was does in a timely manner. We have had no issues since.

I got home from work during a heat wave in MSP to realize our AC wouldn't kick on. I called Pronto at 7pm and set up an appointment the next morning at 7am. Jake showed up right on time and diagnosed a bad capacitor in 5-10 minutes. By 7:15, my AC was back on. I was very impressed with Jake, and Pronto's quick service. I was a little surprised by the $425 bill for such a quick fix and small part but would pay it again. I'll use Pronto again based on their quick, quality service

"How did it go?" is a complex answer here. The majority of our experience with Pronto was outstanding. We sent a message requesting service & an estimate via their website on Sunday evening (we also did this for another provider to get another quote)--within 5 minutes Pronto called us & set up an appointment for the next day. Very nice! The sales & design rep, Jeff, was right on time for the appointment and did a great job asking us what we wanted & designing a 97% efficient system that fit our home & our budget. AND they were able to arrange a crew to install it the next morning. All before we even heard back from the competitor company! They did a fantastic job with the installation. Everyone on the crew wore booties in our home, took the old furnace out, completed the installation and showed us how to use the new touchscreen interface/thermostat. Every single person from Pronto was incredibly polite, friendly and knowledgeable. They did great work and left the furnace room very clean. The furnace works beautifully. Here is where service fell apart. The price included Pronto filing rebates with Bryant (the furnace company) and Excel Energy. We were told the rebate paperwork would be completed and filed in the next 2 - 3 days. After a week we hadn't heard anything, so we called to inquire--Jeff responded & filed our rebate with Bryant ten days after the installation. A very slight delay. We were told our Excel Energy rebate would be filed also. In summary, after 5 more phone calls to Pronto and over FOUR months (mid-July!), we finally got the paperwork for our Excel Energy rebate. There were excuses for why it hadn't been done, but never an apology. Pronto did a superb job on everything right up until we paid them. Their service had been exceptionally good until that point. Would we hire them again? Almost certainly. Refer others? Yes. We love our new furnace, Pronto did excellent work at a fair price, and their field employees are superb. I would just revise my expectations for the follow-through on paperwork and call regularly instead of waiting patiently expecting it to get done. The lack of office follow-through was a poor finish to an otherwise exemplary job and is the reason for my rating of 'Fair' for responsiveness. If I were rating their service & installation responsiveness only, it would be 'Excellent'.

The work done was excellent, timely and they did a superb job of leaving our furnace room clean and organized. I really appreciate the work that was done. They're not the lowest bid for the job (nor the most expensive) but they were worth everything we paid.
