Rep was right on time, professional, and thorough in his explanation of what to expect.

I called them in the AM and they provided a timeframe for arrival, within 2hrs and they actually showed up early. Service technician was very professional and efficient, he had the furnace running again in just a few minutes.

The job went perfectly, it was dead of winter and our furnace went out, they put portable heaters throughout our house to get us through the job and did it the next day...great service!

It went very wall. Their staff was professional and cleaned up the mess from installation like I would expect.

Of course our air went out during the hottest week of the summer. Our unit was over 20 years old and the furnace had gone out the previous winter, so we had both replaced. The technicians were very professional and completed the install as promised. I didn't like how far away from the house the unit was and asked for it to be moved closer. The technician said it had to be 3 feet from the house, but the inspector said it could be closer because the components/panel weren't facing the house. I asked for the unit to be moved and after checking with the inspector they came back out and moved the unit. I was very pleased and recommend Pronto.

The technician did a number of tests and was able to determine that the humidifier was not working consistently. He narrowed the problem down to what seemed to be an inconsistently functioning control panel (humidistat). He replaced the older humidistat with an updated digital humidistat which also included a fresh air sensor to help the humidifier adjust its level of function to accommodate for outside air temperatures. Now everything is working spectacularly! I feel that the total paid for the service call and repair was appropriate to the level of service that I received (next day appointment, prompt, professional, courteous, friendly, attentive to detail service). I'm SO HAPPY that I tried Pronto and plan to call them in the future as needed for routine service and/or repairs.

Water heater was intermittent, but we were still getting hot water. Scheduling the appointment was easy. Technician/sales person who came out was friendly. I told him what was happening. Then he said we could replace and element or replace the water heater. Our heater was almost 20 years old. He told us there was an ongoing discount of about $600 on water heater installation. We decided to go with replacement for the discounted $1850 including removal and installation. It was completed within the day he came out. But I learned afterward that I could've gotten the same removal and installation service from Amazon for almost half the price. We weren't in an urgent situation, but they seem to charge urgent prices. Live and learn to shop around next time!

They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. They came when they said they would and were very efficient. We have had them install our entire heating and cooling system. We really like their service.

the air exchanger was in the attic and very difficult to reach. Pronto was the only company who didn't express major work concerns removing the existing unit and installing a new one. Every other company (some very well known) expressed major concerns and problems with the job and represented their feelings in the bid given to us. Much higher than Pronto's bid. My husband actually felt that the bid of one company was so high that it insured them that we would not hire them for the job. Pronto's work was good, we have had no problems and would hire them again.

We have used Pronto for many years and are very happy with them. They are very professional and are very helpful when we have questions.

Bottom line: get a second opinion before paying for any repairs done by Pronto. It seemed to go well. The technician was very professional and prompt and courteous. He determined the problem was with the blower motor, and quoted us about $2100 to replace it. That was a big fee, so if we were looking at a repair that expensive, we figured it made sense to get a quote for a full furnace replacement, so Pronto scheduled to have someone come out and give us a quote for that. That quote also went well - another very professional and courteous representative from Pronto, on time, etc. Before scheduling any services though, we got a second opinion from another service provider. When we told them that Pronto had recommended replacing the full blower motor, the other provider told us right away that it is pretty rare for a full motor to need replacing. He said it was likely just a module within the motor, and that replacing a module instead of the full motor would be a lot less expensive. He told us all of this over the phone. He then sent a service technician out to look at it, and that service tech confirmed that it was just a module that needed. They quoted $700 and came out and replaced it the next morning, and by early afternoon the house was warm again. Before the second opinion service tech came out and inspected our furnace, I called the Pronto service technician back and asked him if he thought it could just be a module and not the full motor that needed replacement. He was honest and said yes, that could very well be the case, but that at Pronto, they didn't quote replacements for motor modules, only for full motors. So, in the end, we were charged $149 for the service call from Pronto and they quoted a much more expensive replacement/repair than we needed, and had we not gotten a second opinion, we might have spent $1400 unnecessarily. So while we were happy with the professionalism and courtesy of the Pronto representatives, the value of the service was basically nothing in this case.

The service technician was professional and knowledgable. He did not try to pressure me into additional services.

The technician came the next day to fix the furnace. The problem was a blocked water drain line. The tech cleaned the water line and removed the scale. The furnace worked fine. He removed the housing for the 1 in wide furnace filter and installed a 4 in wide filter. The larger filter had lower back pressure resulting in lower temperature air leaving the furnace and more consistent heating throughout the house. I did not know this was a problem.

Called in the morning as it as 55 in the house, they were the first to answer and said someone could be there by noon. Their diagnostic/service fee seemed a little high compared to others at $149 but they had a great rating and I needed someone right away. First come first serve! Chris T. the service tech arrive before noon, was extremely nice, normal, helpful, and listened to my questions with thorough and thoughtful answers. Turned out our flame sensor thing was very corroded and that's why no heat was coming out. It couldn't sense the flame was one, so it shut off as a safety measure (good to know!). He replaced it, cleaned what he could, told me the status of the rest of the unit and what to expect going forward. Also said that as long as you replace your filters about every 2 months there is no point in spending on the nicer filters, the cheap ones are just fine (also good to know!). He said that if I signed up for the $20 per month service/Silver plan, right now we'd get the first two months free, 2 cleaning/service checks a year are included with that, he'd drop the visit price for today to the Silver plan price of $109 instead of $149, and waive the parts/labor for the fix today... What what originally going to be just short of $300 was only $109. I'll definitely pay $20 a month for essentially two service calls a year to clean my AC and furnace and get discounts on any emergency calls and parts. Again, they may not be the cheapest, but for a furnace being like a car, having to take care of it for best results, I'll definitely recommend and use Pronto again, and Chris T. was great.

Technician was prompt, communicated well, and had all required paperwork for CenterPoint Energy rebate completed prior to start of service which was nice. Price paid seems to be consistent with what other companies charge for this service.

The were great! Very professional, respectful of my home with cleanup, and the quality of their work is exceptional. They will be putting in a new water heater soon. They are not the cheapest but I am confident all work was done with skill to perfection. You get what you pay for...

Service was good and got water heater working again. Service cost seemed high to me though.

Fabulous. A real person answered the phone on Sunday night. Both technicians we worked with were friendly and knowledgeable. We referred a friend when their furnace was out two days later and their furnace was fixed two hours later!

Work was done well and I was given a good breakdown of the current status of the system. They replaced my humidifier filter I wish they would have also looked at my garage heater but they said I would have to call and schedule another appointment for that.
