Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

I called at 10 in the morning and Robby was at my home by 1:00 the same day ( pronto... as promised!). He discovered that a critter had chewed the wire connecting the furnace to the thermostat. The repair was done immediately and my thermostat was replaced with an upgraded model that connects me through my cell phone and wi-fi so that I can monitor and regulate the temperature in my home from my phone. Since I travel a lot, I was thrilled. He was professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. I love Pronto!

My 33 yr old HE Carrier furnace finally gave up. It was a part that would cost over $1000 to replace. At that point, the repair tech suggested I might be better off to put that towards a new unit. I might add he was not pushy in any way, merely making some common sense suggestions. He did locate the part and did offer to do a repair, but economically it didn't really add up. He offered to contact a rep who could be at my house that afternoon (on a Friday). He did show up promptly, we reviewed my options, and settled on a Bryant unit to complement my new a/c unit (also done by Pronto). He told me the installers would be present at 700am on Monday, and they were. The installers were timely, conscientious, friendly and professional. They were also very clean, covering my tile entryway with a cloth, and all of my exposed carpet with plastic, and I didn't have to ask for that. On top of that, they wore shoe protectors as well! The install took about 3 hours, and we were ready to go. They even added a return for the unit at no extra cost. I have to say, I don't write many reviews, but this is one company I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. They take a complex decision and make it really simple and uunderstandable. They never apply selling pressure or steer you towards a unit you don't want. They answer their phones promptly, and keep you up to date with text messages all along the way. The repair tech even reduced the price of my new furnace by the cost of the service call (which I did pay). All in all, my experience in replacing my a/c and furnace units could not have been less stressful, or more professionally handled. More service companies should run their business like Pronto. Highly recommended.

Jesse arrived 8am and corrected the problem. Ice buildup. And answered all the wife’s questions. Have been with them since 2005, never an issue. Would advise anyone to go with Pronto. Top notch. Jim

Chris, the Pronto tech, arrived on time at 7 AM, figured out what went wrong, got a very expensive 15 year old part covered by Bryant despite only having a 10 yr. parts warranty, drove from Eden Prairie to Plymouth to get the part and then back and installed it giving us peace of mind through this current stretch of below zero weather.

Chris provided excellent customer service. He was able to detect the problem.

Installation was fine. Customer service not so much. After waiting 3 months; sending 3 e-mails; and making 1 phone call, I finally received the paid invoice I requested for tax purposes. In addition I was told I would receive a warranty package in the mail. When I called the office to find out where it was I was told they don't send out a warranty package. Then a few days later I received the warranty package in the mail. For what PRONTO charges for products, they can do better than that. Apparently once the "sale" is made, customer service is not a priority.

Showed up late and turned out my thermostat needed to be replaced. Cost them under $50 for the part (retail online so likely much less for Pronto) and under 30 minute install...charged me $479.00!!! plus the service fee of $149. Never use again.

Pronto was fantastic. Frank was the sales and design consultant. He was courteous, punctual, direct, and thorough. I asked him to clarify a few items on the initial proposal, and he was quick to provide the specifics I requested. The install team did fantastic work. No shortcuts - the work done was high quality. They replaced all of the old venting, the old humidifier, etc. This was much appreciated as other vendors had proposed trying to salvage old parts during their quoting process. Pronto showed up at my place in force on the install date, with numerous trucks and personnel, and, as a result, they completed all the work during one day. They cleaned the work area before they left, leaving the area better than it was when they arrived. I'd definitely use them again.

In the summer of 2016 Pronto installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit in my recently purchased condominium. I had used them previously and have been 100% satisfied with their service. In September, 2017, extensive mold was discovered beneath the subfloor, including the closet that housed the furnace and A/C units. A month’s long mold remediation project required the removal and re-installation of these units. Pronto was extremely helpful and flexible in juggling their work schedules with the necessary mold remediation work and subfloor replacements. Pronto’s service and support helped make a nightmare situation manageable.

Pronto lived up to their name, with an appointment scheduled within 24 hours of our initial call. Matt was courteous and efficient, quickly confirmed the issue, fixed the problem, cold air blowing again. Satisfied customer, happy to support local business, would hire again.

They came out and gave me an estimate for the plan I wanted initially. When they came out with the technical staff to look over the house they determined that one area would have to removed from my plan. They rewrote the estimate and gave me all the details needed to make a decision. Once I decided to have them do the work they came out and did the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

knowledgeable, competent, and professional, Pronto's Matt Brust deserves a top rating. Matt serviced our AC today and has previously serviced our heating system. I have used Pronto before for an install as well as for inspections and tune ups. I will call them again when I need work done.

My daughter's furnace stopped working while she was out of town. She returned on New Year's Eve to a completely frozen house. We frantically called many Heating contractors and, given the cold weather, they were all booked and couldn't send anyone for days. When we called Pronto the customer service person was so kind and helpful - we felt like we were in good hands. The repairman came out on New Year's Day and had the furnace running in less than 30 minutes. He explained exactly what went wrong and was very courteous and helpful. I feel bad that he had to work on New Year's Day but I am very grateful for the service. THANK YOU!

We have been very happy with the service that Pronto provides, and would highly recommend them.

It went really well. Chad showed up exactly on time and was very friendly. He diagnosed the problem (faulty safety sensor) in about 10 mins and recommended a replacement. He was able to clean the existing sensor enough to tide us over until the replacement can be made in a couple of days. Emma in the main office was incredibly helpful in getting our Sunday emergency appointment scheduled and getting a technician over quickly so we could get to the Vikings playoff game. :-) (Cost was higher than normal since it was an emergency service but we got a $25 discount thanks to Angie's List!)

Clean and on time. Friendly and very informative.

It went fine. No problems were discovered - except for the need to clean the air conditioning unit that was a bit clogged with cottonwood.
