We serve Minneapolis & St Paul as well as the surrounding suburbs. We manage Pronto from a local office & we are committed to providing friendly, hassle-free service and employing only the best technicians. You may recognize us from another local air conditioning company. The Sedgwick family sold its business in 1999 to a national manufacturer and Wade and Greg stayed on to run the business from 1999 through March 2008. We opened Pronto because we felt we could provide a personalized experience and exceptional customer service by managing our entire business from a local office. We are committed to providing friendly, hassle-free service and employing only the best technicians. Pronto is proud to have won the Bryant 2009 Dealer of the Year award. The award is given each year to Bryant’s best dealer out of more than 4,000 dealers in North America.

Description of Work: We needed our AC recharged during a hot weekend. Overall I'm pleased with Pronto and am giving them an A for the call since they were one of the few that could be there on short notice and everything else about the call was good. My only complaint was that the cost was almost double what a smaller independent tech charged me for the same service 2 years ago. While I recognize the issues with recharging older AC units and the refrigerant they use, I felt this was unnecessarily high.

Description of Work: Pronto Heating & A/C was fantastic. They gave a very competitive, thorough quote, respectfully gave us time to consider our options (unlike another company we sought a quote from), and were extremely professional. I was particularly pleased that I didn't experience the normal "talking down to a woman" spiel; everyone who I worked with over the phone, giving a quote, performing the services, was respectful, friendly, punctual and thorough. I would use Pronto again in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: I have had seasonal service (Fall & Spring tune-up) with Pronto Heating for about 3 years. They are very friendly, timely & professional. We have also used them for thermostat replacement, along with air conditioning repair. I highly recommend them for any A/C or heating needs you have.

Description of Work: We replaced air conditioner, water softener, and furnace. Pronto came recommeneded from 2 friends. Kurt, the sales person, was not at all pushy. He showed up on time and also came over during the installation. He has also called twice to see how everything was working. The installations people (Adam and Eli) were great. We had a little hitch (furnace switch) and they got the new furnace that morning. They were at my house all day and were kind, courteous, and clean. They showed me what was going on during the entire process. They went over everything before they left with me, then my husband came home and they went over everything again. I would highly recommend them. We have a lot of rebates coming so we will see how that process goes. I am assuming it will be as seamless as the sale and installation.

Description of Work: Contacted them knowing that our AC was not kicking on outside. My husband had a feeling it was the capacitor. They were scheduled to come between 1-3pm, they called and asked if they could come earlier which was nice. The service man was at our house for a total of 15 minutes and a $50 part cost almost $400 after service call, and installation fee. Service man was very professional, so would probably recommend from that standpoint but price was high. |
