They were referred by my neighbors. So, they reduced the price of the furnace. They did the job for $7600, while it would have cost me $12000. Right after they put the furnace in, they explained everything really well. I did not quite understand the thermostat that was in there. It was brand new. It had just come out and it had many complicated steps in it. So, they showed me how to set the humidity, but I could not absorb the information well since I am old. So, I called them back and they came out the next day to show me the workings. They told me that if I was having any problem with it, I could call them immediately. They called me from home. I called them again asking for information and yet again, they responded immediately with one of their workmen. They showed me how to work the filters and everything. Their service was excellent. They arranged to get the work done within a couple of days. I already have all the paperwork to submit for my taxes and all the rebates. I have already received $260 from them as rebate from the company. I would recommend them highly. They are a company that was bought by another one. The other company had not been providing very good service. So, they went back to business by themselves. People have been going back to them since the other company does not service well. The electrical and mechanical inspectors had come out. They told me that the work done by them was excellent. They were very responsive and professional. They had a licensed person come out to put in the furnace. I will use this company again n the future.

From the analysis of what was needed for my home to the final check up after the work was done, there was no question in my mind that this company selects highly qualified employees, trains them well, and they have great depth of knowledge from years and years in this business. Rob was our installer and was great. Our house had some difficult challenges for him to run PVC pipes to the outside. The whole process took about 12 hours. Though it had been a long day for him, he still took the time to explain the new thermostat and furnace to us.

We talked to 2 companies in making our decision on an furnace and HP. Prices were pretty close but the feeling from Pronto was that they really wanted our business. They were superior in all facets of the sales process giving us a great price, excellent follow up and a quote that met our needs. I believe that they gave me the best possible price for the equipment we ordered. The installation planning allowed for HP to be installed in a location that was better for us than where our previous AC unit was. The Pronto installation team picked up where sales left off and did an excellent job in one days time. They had to schedule 2 hours on another day for the venting through our garage roof because of our Wood shake roof but everything went well. I like working with someone who does what they said they would do and I get what I expected from them, a quality system and installation!

It went excellent and they did a good job. They were fair in the price and were nice to work with.

Jack was our salesman, and Mike was our installation technician. Both were extremely professional and courteous. They answered all of our questions and even gave us a $50 gift card for moving our install date back a few days. Since we were flexible on dates, this was not a negative. They gave us a choice to install on the scheduled day or move it back with the gift card. They simply had a lot of repair calls on air conditioning units and it was a 90 degree week. Mike was so nice to visit with and put in a full days work at our home. He was completely on task and respectful of our home. Thanks Mike!

The technician changed some thermostat settings along with adjustments to the dampers in the basement. The result: Air circulation was much better on the 2nd floor. He explained some additional things/tips I can try if the problem returns. And he did all for no cost, and called it a courtesy visit.

Called in the early AM to schedule an appointment. Representative walked me through how to perform (simple) repair myself. Called later to cancel the appointment (after I was able to perform the repair.) Will use again for things I will not be able to fix myself.

From start to finish, I was extremely impressed with Pronto. The Sales and Design representative, Ron Schardt, did a very thorough job measuring and evaluating our needs. He took time to explain options available to us. He responded quickly to a couple phone calls with additional questions. The installation was done in one day. The installers were great. Cleanup was excellent. They were very careful and took precautions to protect our house. Pronto did things that really impressed me with their professionalism, such as: calling ahead to verify appiontments, having a viewbook with customer feedback and employees bios, having an efficient delivery system so the installers got a couple items they needed within minutes, completed paperwork for rebates done by the home office, etc.

Great! There were multiple people involved, all were professional in every way. Did a great job and left the area cleaner than before. From the estimate, to the work performed, to them filling out all the rebate forms and scheduling the inspections, it exceeded expectations. There was an error on one of the rebates they quoted and they covered the mistake with a check from the company. That shows a great deal of integrity and true customer service in my mind. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asked.

Everything went fine with one exception. I had ordered a single concentric pipe intake/exhaust and this was on the work order. By the time I saw that they had drilled 2 holes in the side of my house it was too late to get what I had ordered. The installer had not read the work order, but just started installing the equipment that had been sent so he blamed whoever had setup his truck for the install. Now I'm stuck with what I considered an ugly 2 pipe system. There were lots of apologies and they sent me a check for $200 for the screwup, but the pipe I ordered was over $100 so I am not really happy with their compensation. Everything else was so perfect that I hate to give them too bad a rap. I'm sure they learned from this mistake and doubt they'd make it again.

I had Pronto come out on a service call for an old furnace that I knew from the start would likely be costly to fix - it was leaking water from the condensation mechanism in its interior. It was 25 years old and thus was open to replacing that furnace and the much-outdated A/C unit. The explanation of what could be done with a new system installation was quite detailed and encompassed answers to my queries about possible expansion of my home at a later date. The one-day installation was handled in a very professional manner. The installer in charge was quite patient with the number of questions I had about the installation and the operation of the new equipment. They have handled things very well since - they have taken care of the paperwork regarding submissions of rebates, the tax credit documentation, and warranty registration.

Excellent, no problems! Arrived when they said they would. Had up to 3 men at times to completely the job as quickly as possible. last furnace lasted 50 years so I don't think I'll need to see them again, but I would definitely recommend them.

Great! Arrived on time, cleaned up, and returned to answer a question. I had to call to receive some follow-up paper work, but it arrived the next day.

The salesperson, Nick was prompt and informative. He spent more time at our house than the other 3 HVAC salepeople that we had come out. He followed up with a call a couple days later with additonal info we had asked about. As far as pricing, Pronto had the second lowest price, but we chose them because they were able to adjust their price and they seemed to offer the best service and equipment. We are extremely pleased with the installation. The lead installer, Mike, was a real pro. The installation went quickly. They even sealed an opening in the ceiling that wasn't up to code and replaced a small section of return air duct. Before they left, the installation crew provided instruction on how to use the new thermostat.

Really well. They loaned us space heaters to use while we were waiting for our installation date. They showed up on time and completed it in a day. The covered the carpeting and wore booties and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. They reviewed the operation of the new furnace with me before they left. After the sale they have followed up to make sure I was satisfied. They filled out all the rebate paperwork for me and sent it to me so that all I had to do was sign it and put it in the addressed and stamped envelope.

Greg Sedgewick was the salesperson and seemed knowledgeable. We had already had a quote from Centerpoint Energy and were looking at alternatives after reading promotional materials from Pronto and having a friend recommend them. The promotional materials included various rebates and promised a $25 Target gift card for taking the time to get an estimate. Centerpoint Energy had told us that the PVC from the new furnace would need to go out the front of our house, which we did not want. Greg showed us that it was possible to have it go out the side of the house. We decided to use Pronto due to this and Greg threw in a "free" duct cleaning since we were replacing the furnace, air conditioner, and hot water heater. Mike showed up promptly on the day of install and immediately informed me that the PVC would come out the front of the house as the only option. I responded that Greg had showed us that it would go out the side and he said it wasn't possible due to various codes and that it wouldn't pass inspection. I didn't want that to happen, but am a bit disturbed that Greg made it seem possible when in fact it wasn't. I had also called Greg a little before a week before the install since he hadn't given us the Target gift card when he had been at our house. I figured I was spending over $11,000 and they should at least fulfill their promise. I left Greg a message and expected to hear back from him. I waited a week and never heard from him or received the card in the mail. I called him back and he responded that he was just about to call me. I let him know that I expected better service from him. I did receive the card a few days later. Pronto's sales literature says that they are "always available and responsive. If something's important to you then it's important to us. We answer our phones all day - every day and guarantee same day service." They didn't in my case. Mike (the installer) was awesome! He was prompt, courteous, and took time to answer all of my questions. I was pleased with his service and he did an excellent job of cleaning up afterward. It has been a week since receiving the install. I have been pleased with the new equipment. It would have been nice to receive a follow-up call from Pronto to see if everything was working right and to apologize for misleading us. I did received a follow-up survey from them in the mail.

They are quick with scheduling, very professional, and punctual. They answer our questions. I think their price is competitive.

Overall, we had a good experience and I would recommend using Pronto. However, a couple things were mixed up: Previous Programmable Thermostat was taken with them when they left our house, some parts of the furnace weren't properly sealed, and my Tune-up wasn't completed. However, they responded very quickly (within an hour) with a brand new thermostat (in the box and the same one they took with them), and they sealed the gaps at the same time (again within the hour of making them aware of the issue), and the following morning they did the annual tune-up. Even though everything wasn't done the first time correctly, I would still recommend as how quickly they responded to any issues, and the price was definitely worth the product and service they offered. Finally they were very punctual in the morning, and called within 30 minutes of arriving (as requested).

This was an outstanding example of customer service and follow-through from start to finish. Our existing furnace was over 25 years old and had been giving us problems. Pronto was one of three contractors we called. The estimate was very thorough ? he spent a lot of time answering all of our questions, going outside to look at our a/c unit, which the other contractors did not do. We received a written estimate within a day. It was very professionally done, with everything detailed. Qualifying rebates and tax credits were listed at the end of the estimate. Pronto fills out all rebate applications, sending in those that did not require our signature. Our installer was on time, personable and professional, finishing earlier than expected. He showed us how everything worked, went over the thermostat with us and left no trace of having removed our old furnace and installing the new one. Pronto also scheduled the follow-up city inspection. Having to purchase a high-ticket item is never easy, but Pronto made it as painless as possible. They were very professional. They were very respectful of the property making sure their feet were clean and stuff like that. They were timely, and explained everything really well. Cliffs Notes: Tuesday Afternoon: Furnace turned off (forever) for Carbon monoxide danger. Wednesday: 4 estimates including one from Greg Sedgwick of Pronto Heating. Wednesday night: Decided on Pronto. Greg was exchanging phone calls and emails with us until around MIDNIGHT despite having left town for a family holiday!
